Banana boat man goes bananas

Harry Belafonte, the class act who referred to ex-US Secretary of State Colin Powell as a `house servant' is back at it again.

He led a delegaton of Americans that included actor Danny Glover, University professor Cornell West to fawn on Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez.

"No matter what the greatest tyrant in the world, the greatest terrorist in the world, George W. Bush says, we're here to tell you: Not hundreds, not thousands, but millions of the American people ... support your revolution," Belafonte told Chavez during Chavez's television and radio broadcast Sunday.

Belafonte suggested setting up a youth exchange for Venezuelans and Americans. He finished by shouting in Spanish: "Viva la revolucion!"

As Joshuapundit revealed, Chavez has some rather predjudiced views on Jews, or in El Presidente's words `the decendants of those who crucified Christ'.J O S H U A P U N D I T: Hugo Chavez weighs in on the Jews

Of course, based on their past statements and writings, people like Glover, West and Belafonte wouldn't have a problem with that.

Odd how these people, who would be the first ones to decry racism against black people are so quick to excuse and endorse racism against others.
