Iran continues nuke project

Iran formally restarted its nuke program today after removing UN seals from several facilities.Outcry as Iran resumes its nuclear project - World - Times Online

As the Freedom Fighter predicted, the Iranians had no intention of seriously discussing the Russian proposals, and the Iranians haven't even bothered to show up at scheduled meetings with the IAEA head el Baradi `for clarification'.

Why should they? The Iranians have made their intentions plain enough, and they are obviously confident enough at this point of succesfully completing the nuclear cycle that further dissembling or the appearance of cooperation is no longer necessary. And they are obviously not too worried about sanctions by the UN, having seen how ineffective they were in the past.

Either Israel or the West are going to act decisively to take away these dangerous toys from Ahmadinejad and the mullahs or they had better get used to the idea of a loose canon like Iran armed with nukes.
