Massive pro-Hezbollah demonstrations in Lebanon - `Siniora must go'!

Hezbollah put crowds in the streets described as `hundreds of thousands' in Beirut today demanding the ouster of the Siniora government.

Hezbollah has branded the Siniora government `a US puppet'. They have cordoned off and blockaded the government's offices.

Hezbollah deputy chief Sheikh Naim Kassem said that the blockade and campaign would continue until Siniora's government falls.

"This government will not take Lebanon to the abyss. We have several steps if this government does not respond but I tell them you will not be able to rule Lebanon with an American administration," he told Hezbollah's al-Manar television.

Translation?

The buzz words used by Hezbollah to cover up the fact that Lebanon is to become the property of Iran and Syria and a Shiite ruled state is `unity government'.

The first step was the November 21st murder of Christian oppostion leader Pierre Gemayel, followed by the resignation of 6 Hezbollah ministers.

Siniora, of course said that his government would not quit, and says that Hezbollah and its allies want to stage a coup.

That's exactly what it is.

And, while we're looking at this, this is what you can expect for Iraq if, as Jim Baker's Iraq Study Group report suggests, we `talk to Iran and Syria' and get their `assistance' in putting together an Iraqi government - a coup that purges any pro-American elements as soon as we leave.

So much for President Bush's fantasies about `Arab democracy.'
