The latest on CAIR's own congressman, Keith Ellison

You can't make this stuff up.

Ex-Nation of Islam member, CAIR functionary and freshman US congressman Keith Ellison (d-MN), has been named to the House Judiciary Committee, which oversees issues like civil rights, immigration and the courts.

Needless to say, one of Ellison's issues is an end to profiling at airports to help prevent terrorism.

Ellison is also scheduled to give the response to President Bush's speech tonight. A real rising star...

hat tip to lgf

correction: Apparently the Democrats realized that Ellison might be a bit - uh - controversial. He ws axed in favor of Illinois senator Dick Durbin.
