Watcher's Council Results,3/23/07

The Council has spoken! A complete list of results can be found at the site of our fearless leader, the infamous Watcher of Weasels.

Council News: There's a vacant seat on the Council. If you think your site measures up, you can apply for a seat The Watcher's Council here.

This week's winner is:

Big Lizards: “The Contranomics of Global Jihad” Dafydd's fine examination of the economic weakness of Iran. Congrats, Dafydd!

In second place was The Colossus of Rhodey: Muslim cashiers refuse to touch pork Hube's essay on Muslim cashiers at Target refusing to ring up pork products and alchohol and how Target dealt with it. Great job, Hube!

I also want to cite Soccer Dad: Cappuccinos for peace? for honorable mention..just because I really liked it.

For non-Council, the winner was:

Four Years In @ AMERICAN DIGEST Gerard Van der Leun's stunning essay of the emotional chaos enveloping the Angry left as the war in Iraq winds on.

In second place was Gates of Vienna: Muslim Violence — Crime or Jihad? A fine effort by Council Alumnus Baron Bodissey that has some disturbing things to say about the nature of Muslim crime and violence directed against non-Muslims in Europe...and a warning for us here in America.

Hearty Kudos to all the winners!
