Couric's Advice to Governor Palin: Read a Book and Learn about Governing!

And no, I'm not kidding...she was serious!

That's exactly what Couric had to say to the New York Post's Richard Johnson:

"I think she should keep her head down, work really hard and learn about governing. But I'm not anyone to give advice to anyone about anything."

Gee Katie, reading and studying....is that how you got your job as a brainless talking head?

She is right about one thing - she's not someone to give advice to anyone. Not that it's going to stop those collagen stuffed lips of hers from flapping...

By all objectove accounts Ms. Palin has done and excellent job at governing in Alaska. It is Ms. Palin who should be writing the book on how to govern effectively. Ms. Couric is the one who should keep her head down, work really hard, and learn about governing. She should begin by studying Ms. Palin. Ms. Couric would learn alot, if she would closely study Ms. Palin.

I would not expcet Katie Couric to do this. She is to arrogant. Sarah Palin is largely a humble person. This probably has alot to do with why Sarah Palin is so much smarter and wiser than Katie Couric is. Ms. Palin has the humility to study and to learn. Katie Couric could learn alot from Sarah Palin.

I have never watched the lady and never will.In fact I seldom watch the news even the local on tv as it's easier to get the news from the net or the blogs on the net or the millions of web pages and web sites.

To necromancer : as a life-long newspaper reader, I strongly encourage everyone to turn to good, detailed, metropolitan newspapers to get in-depth coverage of on-going news stories. They at least make an effort ; they will assign reporters to investigate & cover stories for many months. The collapse in newspaper-readership scares me more than almost any other aspect of modern life.
