No Shame..CNN Reports 53% Approved Obama's SOTU With A Sample That Was 44% Democrat , 17% Republican!

It's getting to the point where they will simply put out whatever fits the agenda.

President Obama's  State of The Union Address last night had  low ratings anyway, but CNN was quick to report that it had an approval rating of 53% out of those whom did watch. That was the headline.

Buried in the article was the fact that the sample was 44% Democrat and only 17% Republican. I mean, why not make it 100% Democrat? They might get even more impressive results that way...

Because it was a poll of who actually watched the speech, of which Democrats were a preponderance, though not exclusively Democrats.

Any actual proof of that assertion?

Nope.

All we know for sure is that the 'sample' they chose to use was heavily skewed towards Democrats..by their own admission

It says so right in the article.

The sample of speech-watchers in the poll were 44% Democratic and 17% Republican. Those numbers indicate that the sample is about 12 points more Democratic than the population as a whole.

"The poll does not and cannot reflect the views of all Americans. It only represents the views of people who watched the speech," added Holland.

It says nothing of the kind.

All it says is that according to CNN's sample, it represents "the views of people who watched the speech."

How many Republicans and how many Democrats actually watched the speech? No one knows. All we know is that CNN's cherry picked sample was designed to skew heavily Democrat. They at least admit to that.

And we already know that CNN routinely cooks its polls....past performance, indication of present behavior, yadda yadda.
