This is completely ridiculous. In fact, the opposite is true. Unlimited Arab money dominates Arab money.

I suspect Mr. Straw, what appears to be most Western Europeans, and many Americans are blinded by ideology. Presumably we want peace in the Middle East that includes Israel and an Arab State of Palestine living side by side in peace. As long as ideology prevents policy makers from understanding the nature of the problems preventing this, there's no way to achieve this.

Since the reality of the problem is unlimited Arab money influencing the policies of America and Western European nations, railing against the Jews is unhelpful and is counter productive. Part of what unlimited Arab influence buys is unconditional support for the Palestinian Arabs. As long as this unconditional support continues, the Palestinians are unlikely to negotiate in good faith. They likely feel they have no reason to.

In order to have any possibility to achieve the stated goals of peace between the Arabs and the Israelis, all support for the Palestinians needs to end or, at the very least, the support they receive needs to be highly conditional much like the support Israel receives from America. If this support to the Palestinians is cut off or made conditional like the support Israel receives, this will place the parties on a more equal footing which will mean a negotiated settlement is much more likely.

Statements and actions by people like Mr. Shaw are at best unhelpful. At worst and most likely, they are destructive.

According to Sun Tzu in order to win a war one must first know themselves and they must know the enemy. I think a similar dynamic applies when trying to solve a problem. One must first understand the root cause of the problem. Once the root cause is understood, we can begin to attack the problem having a reasonable chance to solve it. If one does not understand the root cause of a problem, they will likely be destined to flail about and it is unlikely the problem can be solved.

People like Mr. Shaw either don't understand the root cause of the problem or they do understand it and have another agenda. Either way these people need to be stopped. They are a cancer on our society. I'm sorry to sound so harsh but it is true.

For what it's worth, anti-Americanism is very similar to anti-Zionism/anti-Semitism. Different standards are applied to both countries that no other country would be expected to adhere to.B.Posternoreply@blogger.com
