Trump And Jerusalem - The Story Behind The Story

The Israeli flag flutters in front of the Dome of the Rock mosque and the city of Jerusalem, December 1, 2017.

President Trump announced today that the United States is now formally recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capitol, and that the U.S. would be moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. here's what he had to say.

The U.S. congress passed a law 22 years ago to move the embassy to Israel's capitol, but including a
bi-annual waiver the president could sign if he felt national security conditions warranted a postponement. President Trump signed the first waiver in June, when he was still very involved in other matters and was still working on the outline of a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians. The deadline for the signing of a new waiver was December 4th. President Trump not signing it and his subsequent recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capitol and the movement of the American embassy not just a nod to reality but a sign of a new realism in the Middle East and perhaps, even a possible solution.

The responses to the president's relatively even handed speech are hideously revealing.

The most interesting ones came from U.S. European allies. And they deserve some examination.
'I'm intending to speak to President Trump about this matter. Our position has not changed, it has been a long standing one and it is also a very clear one. It is that the status of Jerusalem should be determined in a negotiated settlement.'  British Prime Minister Theresa May

Why yes, Madame Prime Minister, Britain's position on Israel  is indeed long standing and clear. Let's recall a few things, shall we?

It was Britain who added to the death toll of the Holocaust substantially by disregarding their responsibilities under the League of Nations Mandate and closing Palestine to all Jewish migration in 1939. It trapped many Jews in Europe who were desperate for refuge and whose lives would have been saved...while unlimited Arab migration to Palestine was allowed. It was the British who prior to WWII actually sent desperate Jewish men, women and children they caught trying to enter Palestine back to the countries they had escaped from, including Nazi Germany. It was the British who attempted to strangle Israel at birth by arming and training the Arab armies attacking them, even though they knew the Arabs were openly promising a second Holocaust.

And it was British officers who led Jordan's Arab legion and oversaw the ethnic cleansing of every Jew in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem, the burning of 28 historic synagogues and the use of the Kotel as a garbage dump and latrine. That, by the way is Jerusalem was divided in the first place and got most of its Arab population…with the eager assistance of Britain.

You've already turned your own capitol  over to the Muslims to the point where whole areas aren't safe for non-Muslims, and whose own Muslim mayor recently said that London would 'just have to get used to terrorist attacks' like the London Bridge massacre.  If the British people are stupid enough to vote for  politicians like you intent on turning their country into a place where women and children aren't protected, where jihadist mosques flourish, where the once renowned London cabs have become largely unsafe for non-Muslim women and where Britain's heritage and culture of freedom is becoming replaced by something far more sinister,  well, I suppose they can.

While I realize that it's politically expedient for you to bloviate  on this subject, but you might want to clean your own house first. If you still can.

'This decision is a regrettable decision that France does not approve of and goes against international law and all the resolutions of the U.N. Security Council.'
French President Emmanuel Macron

Mais oui, Monsieur Le President. After all, a Socialist like you needs all those Muslim votes if you're going to keep in power and that comes first, even while most of your army is deployed in your streets to try and maintain some kind of peace and security. Paris, the cultural capitol of Europe has become another Algiers, a city under siege. What is it, three years under a state of emergency? Bien jouie' President Macron, that must be a new record!

Oh, and those UN resolutions? None of them were Series 7 and thus legal or binding. That means they have all the meaning and value of paper towels in a pissoir.

That seems to be where your approval ratings are headed as well, sur le pissoir. Perhaps you too need to focus a lot more on what's happening outside the Élysée Palace instead of sticking your nose into anything to do with Israel and Jerusalem.

Of course, there were also the usual threats of Muslim violence and terrorism:

'This decision will open the gates of hell on US interests in the region.' Hamas official Ismail Radwan

'Death sentence for all who seek peace.' Qatar's foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani

There is no way that there can be talks with the Americans. The peace process is finished. They have already pre-empted the outcome.' Palestinian official Hanan Ashrawi.

The U.S. decision 'destroys the peace process.' Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.

Let's explore how and why this happened and what it really means.

For starters, the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians, or at least what passes for their leadership made a huge mistake. They thought they were still dealing with Barack Hussein Obama and overplayed their hand.

As I pointed out last July, the Trump Administration was getting increasingly fed up over 'Palestine's ' unelected dictator Mahmoud Abbas, his obstruction and his refusal to make any concessions or take steps showing he was interested in an actual peace agreement.

The chief ones asked of him were that he stop using donor funds to encourage terrorism by rewarding terrorist murderers and their families, and that he end incitement against Jews and Israel in the mosques, media and schools he controls. He refused the first and ignored the second.

As I reported, Abbas actually got into a shouting match with Trump advisor Jared Kushner at their meeting in Ramallah, saying that rewarding the terrorists, or as he put it, holy martyrs was his 'social responsibility.'

Abbas, of course, had heard requests for these basic things for years but he took them, correctly, for lip service that meant nothing. Except for President Trump, it meant quite a bit.

There were quite a bit of other things going on for President Trump at that time, so he put the Mideast peace process on the back burner for awhile, choosing to see what would develop between then and December.. Abbas mistook this for once again literally getting away with murder.

And then decided to up the ante and act out accordingly. He did four things that openly showed his contempt for any peace process that didn't involve him getting everything he wanted while not giving up a single concession.

Image result for Abbas holding map showing no Israel

The first thing he did was to manufacture a major outbreak of violence and incitement at the Temple Mount. This definitely influenced President Trump's thinking on the matter.

Abbas then went to the ICC in what amounted to a futile attempt to indict Israel and Israelis for various 'crimes.' That was unsuccessful, but the fact that Abbas did it after the U.S. asked him not to make things worse by doing so did not improve the president's opinion of him.

Abbas also made a huge error in his unity agreement with Hamas, an officially designated terrorist group in America and the EU, although the EU seems to have forgotten that based on their approval of the pact.

The original basis for the unity agreement was that Hamas would allow Abbas to control the crossings and most of the administration of Gaza in exchange for a lot more donor cash. The one huge hangup is that Abbas, like most dictators didn't want anyone but his people armed...and Hamas refused to turn over its weapons or its missiles. There were also a number of disagreements about how much cash Hamas was going to get, various intra-clan disputes and who would get certain admin jobs. So the pact is now on life support.

Another factor was Abbas and the PLO shrugging their shoulders about being able to control Hamas terrorism against Israel, just like back in Arafat's day. That got the Israeli government to announce they wouldn't negotiate at all with any Palestinian government that contained Hamas.

Finally, Abbas and his minions refused to even consider a fairly reasonable peace plan advanced by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that would have given them a state in parts of Judea and Samaria,Gaza, increased territory in northern Sinai and a capitol in Abu Dis, an Arab suburb of Jerusalem. It would have given 'Palestine' more territory than it now controls while for the most part, guaranteeing Israel's security needs.

Given that the plan involves territory that now belongs to Israel and Egypt, it's obvious that the Saudis ran this by them first. It's also fairly obvious that President Trump was aware of it also, since this plan, if accepted, would have settled a sore point and have been an important step in building the coalition of Israel and the Sunni Arab states against Iran, something definitely in the works and the president's main goal. Abbas turning it down cold convinced all parties involved that he's not serious about the real negotiations needed to make this work.

Contrary to popular belief and the spicy rhetoric that gets served up on occasion, most of the Sunni Arab states are sick and tired of the 'Palestinians.' Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan have tossed out and/or killed thousands of them as politically unreliable elements. Many Arab states only let them in on short term work visas. They simply aren't an important issue anymore, especially not compared to Iran and the Shi'ite bloc.

President Trump decided to show Abbas, unlike any president in the last 20 years that the choices he made have a cost. And he chose very shrewdly, since Jerusalem is one issue a vast majority of Israelis agree on. They were never going to agree to redivide the city anyway...especially not the Old City with the Kotel and their holiest shrines. They remember all too well what kind of respect the Arabs and their British officers showed those holy shrines after 1948.

As the president pointed out, the ridiculous policy of not acknowledging Israel's capitol never had any positive effect on the peace process, in fact, the reverse. President Trump has understood that for a while, and decided the time was right to honor a campaign promise he made that was also made by three previous presidents who weaseled out at the first opportunity once they got elected. President Trump is of a very different quality.

While President Trump was careful to give some lip service to the idea that part of Jerusalem might be up for grabs in a final settlement, he knows better. Anyone who thinks the Jews are willingly going to give up Jerusalem again ought to seek psychiatric care.

Israel is under G-d's Divine protection, The City of David redeemed and united, and the Jews are home. They're not going anywhere.

The EU, Jews And Hypocrisy

There's been a lot of talk by the EU's press and certain politicians about 'Nazis' during the recent EU elections, the rise of what's referred to as the anti-semitic right and how dangerous it is for EU Jews. And of course. the politicians now in power pledge to fight anti-semitism.

Let's see how that works in real life, shall we?

Yesterday in the Israeli town of Har Adar just northwest of Jerusalem, one of the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians murdered three Jews in cold blood and critically wounded another in a shooting attack.

From left to right: Solomon Gavriyah, Youssef Ottman and Or Arish, three Israelis killed in a terror attack outside the settlement of Har Adar on September 26, 2017 (Courtesy)

Nimer Mahmoud Ahmed Aljamahad been given a job in Har Adar (so much for ideas of promoting peace by bolstering 'Palestinian' economy) and had an Israeli work permit, so he had access to the town. He simply brought his gun to work and shot the Israelis in the back from ambush. He was then shot and killed by security forces in the town.

United Hatzalah is a something of a unique organization in Israel and in some Jewish communities in the Diaspora as it mostly consists of volunteer emergency first responders. One of them, Moshir Abu Katish, from the Israeli-Arab town of Abu Ghosh, described the scene of the attack.

"I was alerted to the attack by the United Hatzalah dispatch center and I raced over to the scene [of the attack], which took place near the fence of Har Adar. Security forces had shot and killed the terrorist who had carried out a shooting attack against a group of Israelis who live in Har Adar.”

" Unfortunately, the three more seriously injured people in the attack were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth person who was injured we treated at the scene before he was transported to the hospital for further treatment and observation."

Hamas, of course took credit fo rthe attack and celebrated this latest 'martyr.' So did Fatah, Mahmoud Abbas's party who runs the Palestinian Authority, the people Israel is expected to make peace with.

This is from Fatah's official Facebook page, which of course Facebook would never think of censoring or removing. It's a picture of the killer, Nimer Mahmoud Ahmed Aljamahad. The caption reads: "In the name of the Fatah movement, we share the sorrow of the family of the shaheed (holy martyr) Nimer Mahmoud Ahmed Aljamal who was killed in the operation today."

Fatah also wrote: "He who carried out the operation in Jerusalem is shaheed Nimr Mahmoud Ahmed Aljam"

The PA Ministry of Health claimed - wait for it - that Aljamal died because he was shot by 'occupation forces' of course not mentioning that he had murdered three Israelies. Needless to say, Aljamahad's family will now go on Mahmoud Abbas's payroll with a nice monthly stipend courtesy of all that donor aid money.

But now, let's looks at the reaction from the U.S and especially from the EU.

President Trump's Special envoy Jason Greenblatt condemned the deadly terrorist attack and criticized Hamas for praising it.

"My family & I are horrified by the attack in Har Adar. Shame on Hamas and others who praised the attack. All must stand against terror!" Greenblatt tweeted.

"We pray for the victims of today's attack at Har Adar, and their loved ones as well," he added.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman also condemned the attack, calling the shooting a “cruel” and “evil brutality” and an act of “unprovoked terrorism”.

“Once again, Israelis confront the cruel and evil brutality of unprovoked terrorism,” Friedman wrote on Twitter. “We pray for the victims at Har Adar and their families.”

The EU also formally condemned the attack.

“There can be no justification for such a crime and attempts by Hamas to glorify the attack are reprehensible. Violence and terror will only achieve more loss and pain and must stop,” said a statement from the EU spokesperson.

“The European Union offers its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the shootings,” the statement added.

You'll notice that the EU condemnation doesn't mention Abbas and Fatah. In fact the only one who mentioned Hamas and alluded to 'others' without naming names was Greenblatt.

And now we get to the real meat of the story.

You see, Hamas and Fatah are in the process of coming to an agreement about putting a unity government in power, thanks to the aid shutdown to Gaza Abbas and Fatah were able to engineer among the donor nations. Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and other PA ministers announced a plan to take administrative control over Gaza, and Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas' political leader, said Hamas was willing to cede control to the PA provided Abbas responds with what Haniyeh called 'practical steps.' Haniyeh is talking about Hamas retaining control of the Hamas police force (and of course, its military), retaining exclusive authority over the border crossings, and of course, an increased share of donor money. In other words, Hamas would retain practical control over Gaza using the western-backed Abbas as a shield and a cover for its activities.

Remember that Hamas is an officially designated terrorist group in both the EU and U.S. who just condemned their activities so heartily.

And here's the punchline...both the UN and EU have specifically offered help and assistance in putting these two terrorist groups together, as well as continuing to fund and empower them.

Which means you can take that 'condemnation' and flush it in the toilet for all it's worth in real terms. Apparently Hamas isn't so reprehensible to the EU after all.

Yes there's a lot of talk in the EU's media and from politicians like France's Macron and Germany's Merkel about the rise of the right and the danger to Europe's Jews. Some Jews are even gullible enough to swallow it. But here we see the reality of these same EU politicians ready, willing and able to help genocidal terrorist groups unify against Israel. And oddly enough for their supposed concern for Jews, conditions for the Jews in their countries continue to deteriorate, thanks to all the Muslims these politicians happily imported to their countries from the most anti-semitic countries on earth.

What a coincidence.

Say what you want. I certainly wouldn't imagine AFD, the Swedish Democrats, Geert Wilder's Partij voor de Vrijheid (Party For freedom) or Marine Le Pen's Front National sending money to these terrorist murderers. Or importing more of those Muslim 'refugees' who have made Jewish life in Western Europe so hellish.

No it's the Eu bureaucrats on the Left, the ones in power that do that sort of thing. They've conveniently forgotten that the Jews are just the canary in the coal mine, and figure that if they can just give the Muslims the Jews and lean hard enough on Israel, they'll have peace. But of course, it won't end there.

It never does.

When it comes to the EU, Jews and hypocrisy there are simply no limits.

Two Speeches And Some Funerals

Anyone remotely following the news from Israel knows that some serious violence has broken out there. As usual, the media bends over backwards to paint this as a 'cycle of violence' for which both sides are responsible. This is an outrageous, Newspeak lie, and as I'll show you, it has some serious implications for America, believe it or not.

Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority have long practiced a double game perfected by Abbas's old chief, Yasser Arafat. The idea is to mouth platitudes in English while funding and encouraging genocide against Jews in Arabic in the PLO's schools, mosques and media. And the current explosion of violence against Israel's Jews is directly linked to this tactic.

Abbas's recent speeches have literally involved marching orders to the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians to violently attack Jews, primarily but not limited to Jerusalem.

Abbas was preparing the ground as long ago as September 17, just prior to the Jewish High Holy Days, saying: "Every drop of blood that has been spilled in Jerusalem is holy blood as long as it was for Allah. Every Martyr (Shahid) will reach Paradise, and everyone wounded will be rewarded, Allah willing.' ... We will not allow them to carry out their actions and divide the Al-Aqsa [Mosque], and stated: 'The Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is ours, and they have no right to defile it with their filthy feet. We will not allow them to, and we will do everything in our power to protect Jerusalem."

At the same time, the signals to attack Jews were amplified in the mosques, schools and media of 'Palestine' as they always are.

The Muslim Waqf which controls the al-Aksa mosque allowed the stockpiling of rocks, firebombs and iron bars on the mosque specifically to attack Jews worshiping at the Kotel(the Western Wall) below.

They deliberately sought to provoke a reaction from Israeli security forces.

In case you think mere rocks are no problem, I invite you to read this woman's account of being assaulted by the brave 'Palestinian' warriors.

Other attacks were planned and carried out against Israelis without warning, with cars being particularly vulnerable because of their orange Israeli license plates.

One of the first to die was Alexander Levlovitz, who was murdered when his car was attacked in the neighborhood of Har Homa. His wife and baby were injured by shards of broken glass.

 Alexander Levlovitz

One Israeli woman was actually pulled from her car after it was stoned and was only saved from assault and worse by Israeli passerbys who fired on the crowd.

Mahmoud Abbas's recent speech in the UN has to be seen in the context of the terrorist attacks he and Fatah were and are encouraging.

In it, he talked of 'a year of a new war of genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people' and 'the historic injustice inflicted on the Palestinian people in Al-Nakba of 1948, the occupying Power has chosen to defy the entire world by launching its war on Gaza, by which its jets and tanks brutally assassinated lives and devastated the homes, schools and dreams of thousands of Palestinian children, women and men and in reality destroying the remaining hopes for peace.'

Actually, it's the other way around. The real attempted genocide is being launched by the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians against Israel's Jews.

Abbas also said that the Palestinian Authority was no longer bound by Oslo or any other agreements it has signed with Israel. That was really no big news since they have never abided by the terms of Oslo anyway, and Selim Fayyad, the former PLO PM made it clear some time ago.

Under US law and the terms of the agreements, this should have resulted in a suspension of funding for 'Palestine.' Don't hold your breath. Instead, the 'Palestinian' flag was raised at the UN for the first time, in spite of the fact that only member nations are supposed to be allowed to do so.Deceitful, which is how both Benyamin Netanyahu and virtually every Israeli figure of note referred to the speech hardly covers this tissue of lies.

The speech, by the way was attended by America's UN ambassador and President Obama, neither of whom attended Israeli PM Benyamin Netanyahu's subsequent speech on which more later. But it was obviously the signal for more terrorist attacks.

Eitam and Naama Henkin of Neria, who were murdered in a drive-by terror attack near Nablus on Thursday, October 1, 2015. (screen capture, Channel 2)

Eitam and Naama Henkin (HY"D) , were murdered in a drive by shooting by Arabs belonging to the al-Aksa Martyrs brigade, part of Fatah. They were killed in front of four of their children. According to investigators, Eitem used his last strength to open the car door and tell his four children aged aged 4 months, 4, 7 and 9 to flee and hide. That and the fact that the alarm had been raised is all that saved them. Eitam Henkin, by the way, was an America citizen, and our Secretary of State's response was a pro forma condemnation and an urge for both sides to 'reduce tension.'

One of the weapons involved was a U.S. M-16 provided for PLO 'security forces.'

Thousands of Israelis attended their funeral...and a particularly poignant moment was when their nine-year old son recited kaddish for his parents, the Jewish prayer for the dead. The Henkins left six children to be raised by their grandparents.

Aside from throwing rocks and firebombs, another tactic being used is random stabbings. There have been multiple attacks of this sort.

One of the more serious ones involved the murder of Rabbi Nehemia Lavi, 41, and Aharon Banita, 21 (HY'D)and the stabbing and wounding of Mrs. Banita and her baby as Arab onlookers applauded, spat on them and kicked them.

Here's how the BBC reported this attack:

The attacks have continued, without even a faux condemnation by the PLO or Abbas. And why not? This is exactly what they've encouraged and planned.

Needless to say, the Obama Administration continues to call for 'both sides to reduce tension.' To them, Israel obviously is at equal fault for even existing and attempting to protect its people.

And the UN? Instead of voicing any concern for the victims of these unprovoked attacks, they're concerned about the terrorist attackers.

"The Secretary-General condemns the killings and looks to the Government of Israel to conduct a prompt and transparent investigation into the incidents, including whether the use of force was proportional."

He did not mention what the Palestinian Authority might do to reign in the recent violence or condemn the recent terror attacks which left Israelis dead and others wounded in stabbing and shooting attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

*************

Benyamin Netanyahu's speech at the UN mainly concerned Iran.

It was essentially a useless but eloquent cri d'cour in front of a half empty UN General Assembly. Attending were three obviously embarrassed State Department functionaries whom were careful not to applaud, at least not too openly. America's President, Secretary of State and UN Ambassador were absent.

The high point of the speech was Netanyahu's accusing the UN of aiding and abetting a genocidal regime that intends to murder the Israeli people - followed by a 45-second silence where you can literally feel some of the attendees withering under Netanyahu's accusatory glance.

While Netanyahu pledged that Israel has defended itself, is defending itself and will defend itself (a phrasing purposely borrowed from Shachris, the Jewish morning prayer concerning G-d's reign over the earth) he merely emphasized that Israel now stands alone. And that the Obama Administration has picked sides in this war, even to the extent of threatening Israel to withhold a U.S. veto on a UN resolution unilaterally proclaiming 'Palestine' on the pre-1967 lines including East Jerusalem, something that would create half a million Jewish refugees and attempt to force Israel back to indefensible borders if it dares to build homes for its people or takes steps our president deems too thorough to curtail the terrorist attacks.

Unlike Czechoslovakia, do not expect Israel to simply succumb to this without a fight. They really have no other place to go, and disapproval by the UN or the Obama Administration isn't going to weigh much against extermination. That is literally the choice they have been forced into making.

Israel has survived before under far greater odds, and without the backing of the United States. It may very well have to do so again.

If I were speaking to Netanyahu, I'd tell him in no uncertain terms that President Obama intends to do this anyway before he leaves office. When someone blackmails you based on hatred and ideology, they will always eventually do what they threaten you with.

Israel must make its future decisions based on this reality. Virtually every attempt to appease Obama has simply resulted in more dead Jews and increased danger for the country.

The odd part is that this kind of blackmail is likely to create an even more hard line Israeli government, as Netanyahu is currently being assailed by his coalition to do something to protect Israel's citizens. But perhaps that's what our president has in mind anyway, to force Israel into a major split with the US that he can then point to as a reason to cut ties and lead the charge to isolate Israel internationally, that daylight between America and Israel he's been talking about since 2009.

If Israel can no longer depend on America as an ally, perhaps that actually might be for the best.Reality beats fantasy and illusion every time.

So how does this relate to America and our lives here? More than you can imagine, if present trends continue.

In spite of CAIR's propaganda, there were just over three million Muslims in America when President Obama took office. He has brought almost a million more Muslims into America via diversity visas, family unification and refugee asylum, and he plans to bring far more into America before he leaves in 16 months. In fact, it's quite likely that the Muslim population of America is going to double during his terms in office. Arabic is already the fastest growing language on U.S. college campuses and among the immigrant population in general. The Obama Administration's anti-Israel stance is designed to appeal to these new voters and existing Democrats whom would just as soon get a temporary refuge from history by cutting all ties with Israel and the region.

After all, that vacation from history worked so well during the Clinton years, didn't it?

Rest assured that this increase is also going to change how we live, and that's particularly true if you are Jewish, homosexual or female. We're already seeing  increased crime...and vastly increased welfare costs. This is a mirror to  what is happening in Europe now. And we can expect a lot more Nidal Hassans,  Mohammad Abdulazeezses and Tsaernov brothers to surface.

Ironically, if this trend continues the same Leftist Jews whom have worshiped Obama are going to be targeted, and left wondering what happened. They may very well look towards the Israel they been so anxious to demonize as their refuge, just as many Jews in Europe do now.

From a foreign policy standpoint, if this moves in the same direction in the future America will have replaced a firm ally with countries like Iran that still want infidel America destroyed and are anxious to work towards that end. And other countries, who have already seen how the Obama Administration treats an ally are already distancing themselves.

I will leave it to you to decide whether this is the kind of America you want to live in.

Who's 'Responsible?'

http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/77324000/jpg/_77324704_mognewreuteu.jpg

Sometimes, a public figure makes a statement that simply defies the imagination in its blatant hypocrisy and ignorance of reality.

Those of you who have been following events in the region know that the Third Intifada against Israel is well underway, and that the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are doing their best to incite violence. Against this background, Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority AKA Hamas/Fatah recently went to the UN Security Council in an attempt to get a resolution declaring a Palestinian State along the pre '67 lines that would have called for forcing Israel back to indefensible borders, re-dividing Jerusalem and barring Jews from their Holy sites, ethnically cleansing 500,000 Jews, freeing all terrorists currently in captivity in Israeli jails and allowing any of the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians to return to whatever they claim their homes were in Israel.

The resolution failed by one vote, but Abbas has promised to re-introduce it now that three pro-Israel nation's terms on the Security Council have finished and three anti-Israel countries terms on the Security Council started in 2015. And Abbas is also attempted to join the International Criminal Court, saying that if he's successful he will attempt to prosecute Israel there for war crimes.

Aside from violating both the Oslo Accords and The Road Map, this is nothing less than a hostile entity making a declaration of war against Israel.

In retaliation, Israel decided to take the measure of freezing $127 million in tax monies it gathered for Hamas/Fatah, and is considering other measures as well.

The EU immediately condemned this, and their reaction is worth looking at.

European Union foreign affairs head Federica Mogherini said in a statement today that even this moderate pushback "runs counter to Israel’s obligations."

“An effective Palestinian Authority, committed to non-violence and a peaceful resolution of the conflict, is a key element for a two-state solution,” Mogherini said.

Mogherini said that “recent steps taken … could aggravate the already tense situation on the ground and bring them further away from a negotiated solution.”

“Both sides should refrain from taking actions which could raise obstacles to the rapid return to the negotiations,” she added.

She also threatened that the EU’s financing of 'Palestine' could be endangered by Israel’s withholding the money.

You have to wonder what planet the EU thinks it lives on.

Israel's 'responsibilities?' What about the Palestinian Authority?

In exchange for being gifted sovereignty by Israel in the Oslo Accords over some land it otherwise had no claim to, The Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians agreed to do three things...renounce terrorism, recognize Israel's right to exist and end anti-semitic incitement in its mosques schools and media. Those same three requirements were also part of the Road Map.

Not one of them has ever been adhered to, not by Arafat, not by Mahmoud Abbas and certainly not by Hamas.

While the PLO charter tepidly recognizes Israel, neither the Fatah charter or the Hamas charters do. Support for terrorism against Israeli civilians is a given, and not merely tolerated but rewarded. In the twenty years since Oslo, not a single person has ever been arrested by the PA security forces for killing a Jew. Financing of terrorist activity by the PA and Hamas is a long documented fact. Terrorist killers convicted of some of the most heinous murders by Israeli courts are called 'holy martyrs' by Abbas and receive a nice salary from the PA courtesy of Eu and American taxpayers, and these 'martyrs' are held up as heroes and role models to Palestinian society. They're glorified in its media, lionized in its mosques and have public buildings named after them.

Mahmoud Abbas's Moscow University treatise claiming that the Holocaust never happened and that the few Jews that were killed were the result of 'Zionists' collaborating with the Nazis is a required text in the PA's school curriculum.

And the PA itself is now allied in a unity government with the genocidal Hamas. For that matter, the PLO has already said that the Oslo Accords no longer apply to them.

And when Mogherini talks about a Palestinian Authority, committed to non-violence and a peaceful resolution of the conflict, does she even recognize the years of sustained and constant rejectionism and unwillingness to negotiate anything by Arafat and Abbas and the PA as the main contributor to the current impasse?

Responsibility also entails financial responsibility. 'Palestine' has received more aid money per capita than any other developing nation in history, and they aren't even a state yet. Only the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians have their own lavishly funded UN organization, UNRWA, to administer to their needs.

Yet, in spite of all that aid, they still remain an international economic basket case. eEen former PA finance minister Salim Fayyad admitted that at least half of the donor aid to 'Palestine' has either been stolen or diverted, and the World Bank puts it at 60%. The supposedly bankrupt PA still supports Sufa Arafat in her lavish Paris lifestyle to the tune of $100,000 per month, while Mahmoud Abbas is fabulously wealthy (He personally 'diverted' $1.3 billion to himself if former Palestinian Security Minister Mahmoud Dahlan is to be believed) and Abbas's two sons are millionaires.

Not only that, but the aspiring state of 'Palestine' has spent nothing on even creating its own electrical grid. 'Palestine' instead relies on Israeli electricity and has racked up an unpaid bill of around $300 million to the Israel Electric Corporation, an indebtedness subsidized by Israeli consumers through higher rates. It's to the point where the IEC has informed the Israeli government that they're going to be forced to cut power to the PA simply because the continued supply of free electricity is unsustainable.

Is Israel obligated as part of its 'responsibilities' to continue to supply free power to a hostile entity? And is Israel responsible for the fact that Hamas/Fatah are more concerned with spending whatever money they have left over after stealing for themselves on Jew killing and incitement? Is it Israel's fault that 'Palestine' is simply one of the most successful con games in history, one that the international community and particularly the EU happily bought into?

Isn't it time the EU and the rest of the so-called International Community starting calling on the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians to start shouldering their responsibilities and imposing real consequences when they don't? Or are Israel and the Jews simply a more convenient target?

Terrorist Murderer's Death 'Viewed With Alarm' By EU And UN

Palestinian official Ziad Abu Ein, on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 (photo credit: Facebook)

Today marked the death of Zeid Abu Ein, a senior official with the Palestinian Authority. He died of a heart attack at a hospital in Ramallah after being involved in a protest that could more appropriately be called a violent riot in Samaria:

A border policeman grabs Palestinian official Ziad Abu Ein (L) during a demonstration in the West Bank on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 (photo credit: AFP/ABBAS MOMANI)

Zeid Abu Ein had a history of high blood pressure, coronary illness and diabetes that could very well have been aggravated by his inhaling some tear gas, but he refused medical assistance from an IDF medic and died of cardiac arrest at the hospital.

The Palestinian Authority is claiming he was hit with a rifle butt, and of course the 'international community' is upset.

Fatah leader, Jibril Rajoub, said that the Palestinian Authority would cease all security coordination with Israel. And the Palestinian Authority's unelected dictator President Mahmoud Abbas condemned “the brutal assault that led to the martyrdom” of Abu Ein, calling it “a barbaric act that cannot be tolerated or accepted,” According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Meanwhile the Eu and UN were also 'dismayed' at the incident. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini called for an immediate, independent investigation into Ziad Abu Ein’s death, adding that reports of excessive use of force by Israeli forces were “extremely worrying.”

And Robert Serry, the reflexively anti-Israel United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process also weighed in on how distressing this was, and called for a full investigation.

So who was this 'martyr' Ziad Abu Ein that has the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians in a frenzy and the Europeans so dismayed? He was a terrorist murderer.

The two young men pictured above are 16-year old Boaz Lahav HY"D (May God Avenge his blood), and on your left, 14-year old David Lankry HY"D. They died in the bombing of  a Tiberias marketplace where thirty other people were badly injured in 1979,in an 'operation' carried out by Ziad Abu Ein, among his other accomplishments in the field..

Abu Ein was so dirty that he became one of the few Palestinian terrorist ever extradited by the U.S to Israel in 1981. He was tried, convicted and tossed in jail where he belonged but was unfortunately one of the ones released in the 1985 prisoners swap for three IDF soldiers captured in Lebanon.

This is whom the EU is so concerned about.  If they had any moral character at all, they'd be wondering about why they're still funding people whom consider him a hero and martyr.

Israel doesn't have capital punishment,  which is a pity since as far as I'm concerned, Ziad Abu Ein would have been a prime candidate for the rope. But  he died today of a a heart attack, struggling for breath..proof that justice triumphs.

UPDATE: A British reporter,  Sky News broadcaster and Middle East correspondent Tom Rayner reported that an  Israeli medic attempted to treat Abu Ein at the scene of the riot,  but that the Palestinians refused to allow her to do so, picked up Abu Ein and  taking him away in a vehicle. He died at the hospital of a heart attack.

A Sermon At Al-Aqsa "We Will Slaughter The Jews"

A typical Friday sermon on the Al-Aqsa mosque in Israel. This one was given November 28th and is a perfect example of what goes out every day in 'Palestine's' mosques, media and schools.

This is why 'two states for two people living side by side in peace' was and has always been a con game. Arafat's former commissar in Jerusalem, the late and unlamented Faisal al-Husseni put it very well when he called Oslo "just a Trojan Horse", designed to "cheat and ambush the Jews."

It's also worth keeping in mind that every imam and other religious 'Palestinian' figure is vetted by the Palestinian Authority (or by Hamas if they're in Gaza) so this is not some rogue imam. He's preaching the message that Abbas and his friends want put out there.

That Israel allows this to go on in their capitol is outrageous.

Kerry's Talks With Iran Deadlocked As Iran Calls For Israel's Destruction

 http://i.huffpost.com/gen/2058114/thumbs/o-JOHN-KERRY-facebook.jpg

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry chaired a four hour meeting with an Iranian delegation that included Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamad Javad Zarif.

Secretary Kerry's 'agreement that was never and agreement' on Iran's rogue nuclear weapons program continues to fall apart at the seams.

The Iranians have flat outrejected any limits on their enrichment program (and let's remember, a nuclear energy program doesn't require enrichment). The Iranians have also refused to consider reducing the size and output of their centrifuges that can enrich uranium both to levels needed for reactor fuel or for nuclear warheads.

 http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_WMpSC7nK3os/SSW0UNIO6gI/AAAAAAAAC6Q/ccQMIy3HXqQ/s400/IRAN%252BNUKES.jpg

According to the Associated Press Kerry caved and promptly put a new U.S. proposal on the table that is based on removing piping connecting the centrifuges...as if that piping can't be reconnected in between inspections!

The Iranians are also adamant about any inspection of their military base at Parchin where there's substantial evidence that nuclear weapons research has gone on, nor will Iran make any concessions on its fortified nuclear facility at Fordo or on its heavy water reactor at Arak. The Arak reactor has no peacetime application whatsoever, and the reactor can be used to produce plutonium, an alternate path to nuclear weapons.

You may remember
that last November, Secretary Kerry was claiming that the Iranians had agreed to suspend operations at Arak. The Iranians were quite prompt to reply they said no such thing, just one of the many details Kerry and President Obama claimed the Iranians agreed to that they absolutely didn't, and something Iran said it wouldn't ever make concessions on. Meanwhile, the Iranian regime got over $12.5 billion in badly needed funds and the dismantling of what was left of the sanctions that was years in the making for this faux 'agreement' anyway. As I said at the time, it's a wonder Secretary Kerry returned with his pants and shoes on after that bit of negotiating....

The next topic of conversation was the Islamic State. As I reported earlier, the Iranian response to Kerry's attempt to get them on board as part of President Obama's coalition was pretty much along these lines:

  http://postedeveille.typepad.com/.a/6a01156fb0b420970c0167695b9172970b-800wi

Deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi refused the idea of any coordination of efforts with the Great Satan, he did say that his government was in agreement with Western powers on the evil  nature of Islamic State, saying,  “we couldn’t agree more that ISIL [Islamic State] is neither Islamic, nor a state.”  Most Sunnis, not just Islamic State feel the same way about Shi'ites, of course.

But they did have a unique suggestion for Kerry.

Araghchi said that Israel’s actions in Gaza can “only be called genocide,” and said that Israel's existence was a rallying cry for Islamic State. So Islamic State's destruction and demise must thus be tied to “an end to the Israeli occupation of Arab lands.”

Since the Iranians (and the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians) have said many times they consider all of Palestine 'occupied Arab lands' and Iran funds and arms genocidal groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah, there's no mistaking what Aragchi meant. It's a reprise of the old Iranian call to wipe Israel off the map.And keep in mind, Aragchi isn't just speaking on his own. That doesn't happen in a regime like Iran's. This is official policy.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FYfLO8DTUqE/Tb25rddiKEI/AAAAAAAABNM/DUAh_O4xdyU/s1600/Abbas_framedmap.bmp

In fact, if the 'Palestinian Authority’s ambassador' to Iran, Salah Al-Zawawi is to be believed, Iran has already begun shipping weaponry and missiles to Fatah as well:

“I would like to reiterate my gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for the training, financing, and weapons it has provided us, as well as for its political and diplomatic positions regarding Palestine. Iran has helped us to attain our great victory,”

“I am not saying that Palestine will be liberated tomorrow, but we have made real strides on the path to liberation. A missile with a 200 kilogram warhead will carry a warhead of 100 tons in the future, because weapons change as men change. We just need to cross the scientific threshold to get to our goal.”

Ah yes, the old goal of pushing the Jews into the sea. And perhaps later after the missiles are developed, a spare nuke, once the Iranians develop one? Just for the record, a top Iranian military commander recently confirmed that the Islamic Republic is sending weapons to Fatah.

Israeli PM Netanyahu may one day be sorry he didn't defy President Obama and take out Hamas when he had the opportunity. A three front war with Fatah, Hamas and Hezbollah as adversaries is not out of the question at all.

And Secretary Kerry? There's no indication that he voiced any objections to this call for Israel's ethnic cleansing by Iran. Not that he agrees with it per se, but he appears to be far more focused on what concessions he can make to Iran to get some kind of piece of paper signed before November 24th, the new deadline that was agreed to after the Iranians ran out the clock on July 20th, the official deadline. Iran received an additional bribe of a mere $2.8 million to keep these 'talks' going after that fiasco.

Meanwhile, the centrifuges are turning and Iran hasn't given up anything. Nor will they. They know whom they're dealing with.

More Proof That Hamas And Abbas's Fatah Are On The Same Page - Exterminate Israel!

 http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vTXVzxSY4R4/U4phys1GELI/AAAAAAAAfL4/JB9EJKfGV18/s1600/Meshaal_and_Abbas.jpg

While there are still some who call Mahmoud Abbas a moderate and think of him as Israel's 'peace partner' they're deluding themselves. Abbas and Hamas leader Khalid Mesha'al are on the same page. Here's one more proof, if it was needed. After all, the two are now part of the same Hamas/Fatah entity!

Palestinian Envoy: Israel's Annihilation Just Started

Iranian official news agency Fars is reporting on the remarks of Palestinian Authority Envoy to Iran Salah al-Zawawi, who told reporters today that “Israel’s annihilation has begun and the new generation in Iran will certainly witness our victory over Israel.

”The U.S. and the Western countries have created a fake regime in Palestine to get rid of it and have supplied it with the most advanced weapons and are seeking to create an Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates,” Zawawi said.

Remember, this is one of Abbas's hand picked diplomats, not some loose cannon representing himself.

Yesterday, Hamas Envoy to Tehran Khaled Al-Qadoumi told a conference on Gaza that, “The only mechanism for liberating Palestine is resistance and we have no option other than supporting the resistance,” according to Fars, which also cited him as saying “that Hamas will not talk to those who are willing to make compromise and have negotiations with Israel.”

He reiterated that Hamas will not talk to those who are willing to make compromise and have negotiations with Israel. By that, I assume he means actual peace negotiations rather than self-serving horse manure designed to get concessions so Hamas can rebuild for the next round of fighting.

Al-Qadoumi also made reference to the help the Iranians have been giving them with heavy weapons, saying, "We hope to be able to make our missiles more advanced with the help of the knowledgeable Iranians."

Iran has already supplied Hamas with Fajr-5 missiles and Ababil drones for use against Israel.

 http://www.voltairenet.org/local/cache-vignettes/L400xH300/1-3598-2edf1-d12a5.jpg

Two sides of the same coin. And not a dime's worth of difference. That ought to be something to think about for those who like the idea of giving Abbas and Fatah control of entry into Gaza. That would simply be a green light to Iran toi start the missile shipments.

Arab Violence Against Israel and Jews Continues

By David Gerstman

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eJLjvOqzZWg/U7jhjR4ClPI/AAAAAAABltk/_5uqa46SfpI/s1600/Torched+car+in+Qalanswe.jpg

While the media has been focused on the arrests of up to six Jews in the killing of Mohammed Abu Kheidr, Arab violence against Israel has been continuing.
The Jerusalem Post reports:
The Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council area was battered with ten rockets from Gaza. Residents of the communities in the Sha’ar Hanegev area were instructed to remain in fortified shelters.

Three rockets hit the Eshkol Regional Council area , one of which started a brush fire, and an additional two rockets landed in open territory in the Ashkelon Coast Council region.
In addition for the first time since 2012, a rocket hit Be’ersheva.

Elder observes:
Any of these events done by Jews would be causing worldwide headlines. But the world has a different standard for how Arabs are expected to act.
Ynet reports (h/t Israel Matzav via memeorandum)
The clashes erupted when masked protestors who were standing on the road began asking passing drivers whether they were Jewish or Arab. Two Jewish drivers who answered in Hebrew were forced out of their vehicles and attacked by the protestors. The two drivers sustained light injuries.
One driver was able to get back into his car and fled the scene while the other driver fled the scene on foot, leaving behind his vehicle, which was set on fire and burned completely. Local police confirmed that the driver filed a complaint with the police for assault and the torching of his car.

There was also an attempted kidnapping of a Jewish child reported in Jerusalem.
The Times of Israel reports:
Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said Saturday that there would be zero tolerance for people who decided to take the law into their own hands, following violent clashes in Arab Israeli towns in the north and center of the country on Friday and Saturday.
Aharonovitch said police would not allow violent disturbances to go unanswered and promised that justice would be served to “troublemakers.”

Palestinians Send A Message-Ambulance Carrying Bodies of Murdered Boys Attacked, Stoned

Israel's 'peace partners' attacked the ambulance bringing the three murdered boys home for burial with stones and paint.

The Muqata blog posted an image of the damaged vehicle on Facebook writing, “8:44pm IDF Ambulance humvee transporting the bodies of the boys attacked by arabs….windows smashed.”

And yes, they're celebrating, as they have since the three boys were kidnapped:

The meaning of the three fingers salute is obvious.

This is what our government funds, and these are the people the Israelis are being arm-twisted to give land to 'for peace'.

' Palestine's' Choice To Succeed Abbas - A Convicted Terrorist Leader And Murderer

 http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02029/ma_2029365c.jpg

In view of the upcoming Fatah-Hamas unity government and the anticipated elections, a Palestinian think tank, the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion polled 1,015 of the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians living in East Jerusalem, the Arab occupied parts of Judea and Samaria, and Gaza as to their preference for a future leader.

Their choice?
Convicted murderer and terrorist leader Marwan Barghouti, who is currently serving five life terms for his activities during the Second Intifada.

Barghouti easily won out over Hamas Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh, current Palestinian Authority dictator Mahmoud Abbas, and Hamas politburo chief Khaled Masha'al. The closest one to Barghouti was Mahmoud Abbas, who Bargouti out polled 33% to 26%. The two Hamas politicos finished a lot further behind Barghouti, which makes me wonder how much of the Hamas 'electorate' in Gaza was sampled as opposed to Jerusalem and the other Arab occupied areas of Judea and Samaria.

So who is this Marwan Barghouti? What did he do to deserve five life terms in prison? And why are the Palestinians so enamored of him?

Barghouti ran the Tanzim and the al-Aksa Martyr's Brigade for Yasser Arafat during the Second Intifada, both terrorist groups affiliated with Fatah. They deliberately targeted civilians for murder, and Barghouti planned numerous 'operations', including the murder of 9-month-old Shalhevet Pas, who was shot by a Tanzim sniper while she was sitting in her stroller in a park surrounded by other children, none of whom by grace of G-d were killed. Her killer, Mahmud Amro admitted deliberately targeting the baby with his U.S. - supplied M-16 and is still in prison, drawing a salary from the Palestinian Authority.

Another good friend of Marwan Barghouti was Samir Kuntar shown here with Barghouti on your right:

This picture was taken of the two of them together at Ashkelon's Hadarim prison, when they were both serving their life sentences there.

One night in April back in 1979, Kuntar and three accomplices landed at the Israeli coastal town of Nahariya from the sea and kidnapped  Danny Haran, 28, and his daughter Einat, 4, from their home. They shot Danny dead in front of his daughter, so that was the last sight she ever saw.  Then Kuntar  murdered the four-year-old Einat by smashing the child's  head on a rock with his rifle butt.

Barghouti and Kuntar got on so well that the Palestinians made Kuntar an 'honorary Palestinian citizen' and gave him a hero's welcome when Kuntar was released in exchange for the tortured and mutilated bodies of the two Israeli servicemen who were kidnapped by Hezbollah, the act that along with Hezbollah's missile attacks on Israel precipitated the Lebanon War.

Barghouti himself was convicted in Israeli civil court of being personally involved in five murders - a shooting and grenade attack on a Tel Aviv restaurant in on March 5, 2002 that killed three Israeli civilians and wounded 15 people including 5 Arabs, some of them critically, the brutal murder of a harmless Greek monk in Ma'ale Adunim,  an attack on a gas station in Givat Ze'ev, and a car bombing in Jerusalem that murdered an Israeli woman and injured 8 people, including two children.

While he was in prison, the same Palestinians who elected Hamas by an overwhelming majority also elected Barghouti to represent them in what passed for a parliament.

Needless to say, this new poll will probably spark cries on the Israeli Left, the Eu and of course the Obama team to pressure Israel to free Barghouti. MK Zahava Gal-on from the EU funded far Left Meretz party was quoted as saying “The only figure who can replace Abu Mazen [Abbas] is Barghouti.”

“Knowledgeable people say that the only one capable of stabilizing the situation after [Abbas] is Barghouti,” Gal-on said.

Knowledgeable people...the same sort of knowledgeable people that brought Israel Oslo, who talked about Barghouti's old boss Yasser Arafat the same way they're talking about Barghouti now. The same knowledgeable people who have blood on their hands they still refuse to acknowledge.

I do take one bit of comfort from this. Now that the Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians continue to make their choice for new leadership clear, it's becoming apparent to all but the most blind and clueless Israelis that the two state solution so beloved of people like MK Gal-on is simply a recipe for giving Israel's genocidal enemies a closer platform to attack them from.

The citizens of the sort of 'democratic peaceful state living next door to Israel' so beloved of those creatures still working to get Israel to retreat to indefensible borders and give away the country's birthright wouldn't choose a murderer like Barghouti to lead them if they were at all serious about peace.

A significant number of them aren't serious about it in the least. They favor Barghouti as a war chief, another Arafat - because of his record of success at Jew killing.

Such men are best suited to be the guests of honor at what the pioneers of the Old West called a necktie party under a sturdy tree. Barring that, keeping them under lock and key for the rest of their lives is a poor substitute, but it's the next best thing.

What 'Nakba Day' Really Means - And Why Israel And the Civilized World Should Ban It

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/965000/images/_969359_hands_afp300.jpg

Today much is being made of the deaths of two Arabs whom were killed while engaged in the violent riots that traditionally occur on Nakba Day. As a consequence, The Palestinian Authority is threatening to halt all ‘security coordination’ , not that the ‘coordination ‘ really means that much. After all,the PA has yet to put a single person in jail for murdering a Jew…in fact it pays them a salary as an incentive for doing so, Mahmoud Abbas considers these murderers heroes and constantly foments violence against Israel’s civilians in spite of the tailored rhetoric he gives the Obama Administration and the EU.

The Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians have a number of curious holidays. There's 'Prisoner's Day', observed on April 17th when the Palestinians celebrate the convicted murderers in Israeli prisons for their murder of Jews.

There's 'Land Day' observed on March 30th, which commemorates violent riots by the Palestinians against Israeli Authorites that led to the first intifada.

And then there's Nakba Day, celebrated May 15th, the day after Israeli Independence day on the Gregorian calendar.

'Nakba' means 'catastrophe' in Arabic. The holiday mourns the creation of Israel and is observed by marches, fiery, incendiary speeches in Arabic and almost always violent confrontations with Israeli civilians and police.

What does 'Nakba Day' really represent? Like every one of the other 'holidays' the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians observe, it celebrates violence and terrorism.

Even before Israel was declared a state by the UN in 1948,  many of Israel's Arabs, aided and abetted by the British authorities were engaged in violence and terrorism against Israel's Jews. With the British appointed Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj-Amin al-Husseini spurring them on, the Arabs attacked Jewish communities throughout Mandatory Palestine in a violent campaign leading up to Israel's independence in May of 1948. Even after that, al-Husseini's 'irregulars' aided the Arab armies attempting to invade Israel, with one goal in mind, one they openly stated -a jihad ending in the ethnic cleansing and genocide of every Jew in Palestine.

You see, to the Palestinians, that's what they're mourning. The 'nakba', the 'catastrophe' was that they failed at an attempted geniocide.

Imagine how the world would react if Germans held a public ceremony mourning the fact that they failed to kill off all of Europe's Jews? or if the Russians publicly mourned failing to successfully starve all the Ukrainians to death or or the Turks had a holiday mourning their failure to totally wipe out the Armenians in the 1915 Genocide. Yet the Arabs whom call them selves Palestinians and their left wing groupies like the EU funded Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Internally Displaced Persons in Israel mourn their failed attempt at genocide every year.

A Nice Bit Of UN Hypocrisy On Israel

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01932/Ban-Ki-Moon_1932746c.jpg

UN Secretary General Ban-Ki-Moon had a few things to say as the deadline for Israeli-Palestinian talks passed.

The Secretary General urged Israel and Palestinians, as well as the international community, to "reflect on how to preserve the prospects for a two-state solution."

Ban also urged the parties to refrain from unilateral actions that could prevent peace negotiations from resuming.

According to Ban's spokesman Stephane Dujarric, the secretary general "urges caution and (calls the parties to) avoid any unilateral action that would reduce the chances of seeing negotiations resume and reach an agreement ."

"Avoiding unilateral action' ? After the Secretary General just approved the unilateral actions of 'Palestine' by accepting Mahmoud Abbas' applications to join UN bodies and conventions in violation of all previous agreements?

 http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2011/9/23/1316793833899/Mahmoud-Abbas-presents-an-001.jpg

And wouldn't you call signing Abbas and Fatah a unity agreement with a genocidal terrorist group like Hamas 'unilateral action'?

Ah, I see..that only applies to Jews and Israel!

The Obama Team Endorses The New PLO-Hamas Unity Deal

 http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZxKAf8oOwtI/SfMFJG8y5KI/AAAAAAAAawg/G0Hi316iJhc/s320/ObamaHamas_300_0.jpg

The fallout from the Fatah-Hamas unity agreement continues, but in reality it's more symbolic than realistic so far.

For his part, President Obama made sure that we know he considers Israel equally responsible for the collapse of the talks, that the Palestinian Authority will continue to get its jirzyah from the American taxpayer and that pressure on Israel by the Obama Administration will continue.

"The fact that recently President Abbas took the unhelpful step of rejoining talks with Hamas is just one of a series of choices that both Israel and the Palestinians have made which are not conducive to solving this crisis," Obama said.

Obama added that his administration would not be deterred by Israel suspending the peace talks on Thursday in response, and would instead continue backing US Secretary of State John Kerry's push to force through a peace deal, reports AFP.

State Department spokesmouth Jen Psaki made sure to continue the theme of mild criticism of Abbas and the PA for linking up with an internationally recognized terrorist group coupled with making sure Israel was blamed equally for the fiasco:

"There have been unhelpful steps from both sides throughout this process, whether it’s settlements or the UN or whatever it may be. So they are both – they have both been guilty of that."

As you can imagine, this kind of nonsense generated a fair amount of fury among insiders in Netanyahu's government, particularly as Netanyahu had allowed himself to be arm twisted into ridiculous concessions to Abbas just to keep the 'process' going,on which more in a bit.

The Israelis ought to realize now that nothing Abbas does is going to get his lawyer and community organizer in the Oval Office to see to it that the PA suffers any significant consequences for this bit of duplicity...and nothing Israel does is ever going to be enough. The White House has taken sides blatantly, just like the EU, and that is simply that.

As a matter of fact, in a separate statement, Psaki claimed that Abbas had talked to Secretary Kerry and told him that the new unity government would be his government and represent his policies. He is said to have promised Kerry that along with recognition of Israel, the future government would abide by past agreements and renounce violence.

“It’s a positive thing,” she said.

According to our own State Department,The Obama Administration is now openly endorsing a government composed of a recognized Terrorist group with the blood of Americans on its hands.Of course they always were, but never this directly, never this blatantly.

Abbas is playing along with this perfectly, to the point where I believe one of my notorious Lil' Birdies on the Palestinian side is correct in telling me that this was planned out between Abbas and the White House before hand. He's even let it be known that his shiny new unity government that includes Hamas is going to announce to the PLO’s Central Committee its 'recognition' of Israel. Recognition as what, of course isn't being mentioned and for that matter, Hamas isn't really playing along anyway.

Speaking to the Palestinian Information Center from Ramallah, top Hamas official Hassan Yousef made it clear that Hamas will not recognize Israel and “will not give up the resistance,” and he also made it clear that Hamas is marching to its own drummer and that international intervention meant nothing.""any interference in Palestinian affairs by outside parties is unacceptable, and we cannot exercise blackmail and dictation."

At the same time, Hamas leader Ra'fat Murra announced in the official Hamas outlet in Lebanon, al-Ajnad, that "The option of negotiations has failed, Palestinian resistance remains the right option".

So is Hamas going to cease firing rockets at Israel from Gaza? Are they going to rescind the Martyr's Oath all Hamas members swear to uphold that calls for genocide? Will they ever really commit to a peace treaty with Israel, no matter what Abbas or his tools like Saeb Erekat or Hanan Ashrawi say? Of course not.

And speaking of Saeb Erekat, the former right fork of Arafat's tongue and nowchief Palestinian negotiator told Sky News in Arabic that Hamas is not a terror organization and never will be.

And then, Erekat added in interview that Hamas is not required to recognize Israel (directly contradicting what Abbas told Kerry), since there are parties in Israel which don’t recognize the state of Palestine. So in other words, just because there are private citizens in Israel who don't recognize the idea of a Palestinian state,it doesn't matter what the Israeli government's official position is..especially since 'Palestine' isn't even a state yet!

One of my favorite Yasser Arafat quotes comes to mind here.."I've killed for my cause. Don't you think I would lie for it?"

Hamas, for their part are not giving away anything much to be part of this unity agreement. They aren't giving up terrorism against Israel, they will still retain control of Gaza, and there's no sign of them allowing Palestinian Authority security forces to return to the Gaza Strip. And there's a good reason for it.

The leaders of Hamas know that Abbas and the Fatah old guard are on their way out. is on the way out in a few months and that they're taking over. So the Beast known as 'Palestine' is going tobe one big happy family again after the elections, only with Hamas in charge as Abbas and the Fatah Old Guard depart to enjoy the money they've stolen and stashed away.

Meanwhile Abbas is enjoying himself. He knows that the Obama Team is going to launch another big diplomatic offensive to get the talks back on track, even though Netanyahu's cabinet, even clueless lefties like Yair Lapid and Tzipi Livni voted unanimously to end them. Abbas is sitting back and waiting now and waiting to see what Secretary Kerry and the Obama regime are going to offer him to go back to the table. At that point, he'll simply up the ante again, with brand new demands and pre-conditions he'll expect Kerry to deliver by extracting them from Netanyahu.

And that, of course, is the real problem.

Fatah and Hamas are who they are and they do what they do. But without Netanyahu and others going along with this farce, it would simply end. Believe or not,Netanyahu was reportedly bullied by the Obama Administration right before the Hamas unity pact was announced to gift Abbas and the PLO all sorts of goodies to get the peace talks back under way.

They included permission for the Palestinians to begin wide-scale construction projects in Area C, the part of Judea and Samaria that's under Israeli control right now and where most of the Jews live. Israel was alos apparently willing to agree to a significant release of more convicted terrorist killers and a partial freeze on building in West Bank settlements...all to listen to Abbas say no for another few months.

If this is true (and I haven't been able to confirm it yet) Netanyahu needs to resign immediately. Allowing Fatah to build in Area C while prohibiting Israelis from doing so would not only be despicable hypocrisy, it would endangers the lives of the Israelis living in that area in Jewish communities like Gush Etzion and Ariel. And it would also would signify Netanyahu's connivance in a future ethnic cleansing of that area - and by extension, a re-division of Jerusalem itself. It would symbolize his willingness to move Israel back to the indefensible pre-'67 borders.

If that was Netanyahu's idea about how to proceed, if he was willing to appease Israel's enemies to that extent, he is no longer fit to lead Israel. Frankly, I doubt he's that stupid and this was probably just a trial balloon released by Tzipi Livni, who definitely is that stupid. But in any case, resuming talks right now is not to Israel's benefit in any way, because nothing good will result from it.

What is in Israel's benefit is to unilaterally decide the terms of the divorce - meaning borders and strategic areas to hold - and to impose them.

There's no peace to be had by appeasing the heirs of Arafat, or making any kind of deal with them they won;t hod to anyway. Saeb Erekat is telling the truth for once. The him and the majority of those who call them selves Palestinians, Hamas isn't a terrorist group at all, since they're doing Allah's work by murdering Jews.

The Serpent's Tongue - An Open Letter To Catherine Ashton, EU Policy Chief

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton [file]

Dear Lady Ashton,
I noted with interest your remarks and your concerns about what you called "recent events in the West Bank, including in East Jerusalem, which are not conducive to the climate of trust and cooperation needed for the current peace negotiations to succeed."

Your remarks were exclusively addressed to Israel. You were 'concerned' about Israel declaring something like 2.5 square miles (1 square KM) of vacant land near the Israeli community of Gush Etzion - which you, of course, call a 'settlement' - as Israeli state land. You're also concerned about what you referred to as the authorization of a 'new settlement' in Hebron, and you "particularly deplore the recent confiscation of EU Humanitarian Assistance provided to vulnerable civilians in the Jabal Al Baba Community in the E1 area."

First off, just between us...don't you think your use of language is somewhat suspect? One might almost think you were biased. You refer to Gush Etzion as a 'settlement' when after all, it's an established Jewish community that dates back to 1924 on land legally purchased by Jews from Arab landowners. Jews continually inhabited it and worked the land except for a 19-year period between 1948 and 1967. And when you speak about vulnerable civilians, may I remind you of how the residents were ethnically cleansed in 1948 by Jordan's Arab Legion, and that almost 200 able bodied Jewish males were executed in cold blood after they surrendered and were guaranteed safe conduct to the Israeli lines with their women and children? May we recall who commanded the troops who committed that atrocity and who oversaw the ethnic cleansing of all the communities in Judea and Samaria as well as East Jerusalem? It was British officers, Lady Ashton, under your own Colonel John Glubb. Project much?

Then you say you particularly deplore what you refer to as "confiscation of EU Humanitarian Assistance provided to vulnerable civilians in the Jabal Al Baba community in the E1 area." That 'community', as you call it, refers to a handful of Arab squatters living for a matter of a few weeks in EU-funded caravans in a contested vacant hillside within the city limits of the Israeli city of Maale Adumim, a city that Israel isn't going to give up in any peace agreement. And as we both know, E-1 is necessary to Israeli security needs in order to connect Maale Adumim to the rest of the Jerusalem area, so it doesn't become surrounded on all sides by those extraordinarily peaceful Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians.

So in your world, Gush Etzion is a 'settlement' after decades of existence on legally purchased land, while a few caravans parked illegally for a matter of weeks on Israeli land with the EU's connivance that you give the name of 'Jabal Al Baba' is a 'community'? It seems obvious that you have one set of rules for Jews and quite another for everyone else, and there's a word for that, isn't there Lady Ashton? And isn't it more than just a little hypocritical to 'especially deplore' the Israelis confiscating what was obviously an attempt by the EU to unlawfully create facts on the ground in what at best can be considered a 'disputed' area? If 'humanitarian aid' was the purpose, why not put those caravans somewhere in Area A, where the Palestinian Authority controls things? Again, one might almost suspect you of - heaven forbid - bias.

Hebron? Ah yes, another one of those awful 'settlements'. This one amounts to Jews being allowed to move into a property they legally purchased, one four story house. Although to be honest, it could probably be more accurately described as a 'repurchase'. You see, Hebron had a sizable Jewish community that lived there for centuries until 1929, when the Arab residents of the town turned on their neighbors on orders of the British appointed Grand Mufti and began raping and murdering them - while the British troops who were supposed to be keeping order did absolutely nothing to stop them.

Even if Hebron were entirely given to Israel, it would not compensate for the blood of the men, women and children  murdered there. And you have a problem with Jews moving into one house? Is there anywhere in the world, let alone the Middle East you don't mind them living, Lady Ashton?

You devoted one sentence in your remarks to "the recent killing of an Israeli man in the West Bank" and called for "an immediate end to all acts of violence."

Once again, I must admit I find your use of language interesting. Let's look at what actually happened to Baruch Mizrachi (HY"D) and his pregnant wife and children and see if we can't find a more appropriate word than 'killing', shall we?

The Mizrachi family was driving from the Israeli town Modi'in to Kiryat Arba and was ambushed by a Palestinian terrorist who had situated himself by the roadside and deliberately fired on a car filled with a man, his pregnant wife and five children. The other members of the family survived by sheer chance. They were deliberately targeted, Lady Ashton, and their 'crime' was simply driving a car with an Israeli license plate on it. Hadassah Mizrachi, who was wounded in the attack may lose the child she was carrying as well as her life's companion and will have to raise her children on her own.

A 'killing' Lady Ashton? How about using the word murder instead, since that's exactly what it was? How about calling it terrorism? And would it interest you at all to know that  the killer is still at large and that the Palestinians reportedly know his identity and location but refuse to turn him over to Israeli authorities or jail him themselves? When he's apprehended by the Israelis, tried in an Israeli court and imprisoned, the Palestinians you're so enamored of will pay him a salary for murdering a Jew that will be funded in part by EU taxpayers, just like hundreds of other sitting in Israeli jails for the same crime. And Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian leader will insist on him being freed as a 'holy martyr' in any peace agreement, to return to a hero's welcome just like all the other murderers the Israelis have freed,

Does that bother you at all, Lady Ashton, to be a part of providing an incentive for all those murders? In legal terms, Lady Ashton, doesn't that make you and the EU accessories to those murders? Have you even once forcefully condemned the Palestinian Authority's practice of rewarding and making heroes out of those who murder innocent men, women and children? Has the EU ever once threatened to end the cash flow unless it stopped?

And to add insult to injury, in your remarks, the murder of Baruch Mizrachi barely rates a sentence, almost an afterthought. And you equivocate by calling for 'an immediate end to all acts of violence', as though Israelis were likewise targeting Arab families for murder on the highways. And then you call on Israel and Israel alone to mend its ways and reverse these so-called punitive actions that you deplore so much.

Are you that dead to shame, Lady Ashton? Are you that blind to justice?

Do you sleep well at night?
