These are the only relevant parties. It is puzzling why there are so many participants. For example, Norway has no interests what so ever here.

The only reason for so many participants would be if issues that go beyond the Israeli-Palestinian war are to be discussed. From this list of participants, I'm counting at least 25 enemies of the United States here. It seems hard to imagine how any thing good for American interests can come from this.

As far as Israel is concerned, the Holy Scriptures guarantee that it will have an eternal survival. These scriptures contain no such guarantees for the US. The survival of the US is already in grave danger. More concessions to the enemies of America who are involved in this conference will only make the survival of the USA even more precarious.

Surely Congress can do SOMETHING to stop this conference from going forth. They were elected to fight for the interests of the United States. Both Democrats and Republicans should do their duty and act quickly. I don't see how anything good for either Israel or the US can come from this conference. Congress should act now to fight for American interests and do all they can to kill this conference. Failure to do this would be a dereliction of duty on the part of Congress.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16816866.post-33357221477738229512007-11-22T10:40:00.000-08:002007-11-22T10:40:00.000-08:00For its involvement in a Middle East "peace proces...For its involvement in a Middle East "peace process," the United States cannot win for losing. According to Debka sources Al Qaeda believes the upcoming conference is a betrayal of the Palestinians. The deck is clearly stacked against Israel here. It is puzzling how Al Qaeda could possibly view this as favorable to Israel.

Also most of the invitees are enemies of the US. As it stands now, this would be a gang rape not only against Israel but against the United States as well.

Israel should simply say "no" to pressure from the Americans or to pressure from anyone else. Not only have Israeli leaders refused to say "no" to the false peace process they seem to be enthusiastically pursueing it.

Who leads Israel is up to Israelis to decide but from my perspective Israel needs new leadership. For that matter America needs new leadership as well. America and Israel need and deserve leaders who will fight for the interests of their countries and will not try to appease enemies who are bent on their destruction.

If the "peace conference" goes forward it is very likely that both Israel and America will get screwed. The deck is stacked with enemies of both countries.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
