It's taken a while,but the Danes, like the Dutch have finally realized the threat from jihad on their soil and have begun to react appropriately. Al Qaeda's recent threats, which named Copenhagen as a potential target, shocked the entire country.

Next, Danish security has begun rounding up jihadists within the country.

This takes place against a long time background of rapes, street crime and even public honor killings that have originated in a largely unassimilated Muslim community in Denmark, and have stigmitized this normally tolerant nation.
