Palestinian authorities have freed Ala al-Hams, held on suspicion of kidnapping the three Burtons last week. BBC NEWS | World | Middle East | Gaza militant free after protest
"We have reached an agreement with the security services to cease all the protests," said al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades to which Mr Hams belongs.
This came after al Aksa stole a couple of bulldozers and knocked down the border wall between Egypt and Gaza, killing a couple of Egyptian border troops in the process.
Palestinian authorities didn't say why they released al-Hams. My guess is that they came to an agreement over a division of the ransom money paid by Britain's M15!
Lovely folks...give `em a state.
