Not taking the war too seriously! Nothing to see here!

Here are two stories from opposite sides of the pond that speak volumes about how we're not taking this war seriously enough by half.

London bus bombing, 7/07/05

The first one, from Britain reveals that M15 was aware of the identities of two of the bombers before they carried out the suicide bombings in London on July 7 last year without `recognizing the threat they posed', according to parliamentary report issued after an investigation into the attacks.

"The security service had come across Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer on the peripheries of surveillance and investigative operations,'' the report by Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee said. "The decisions not to give greater 'investigative priority to these two individuals were understandable'' because of other pressures.

Those `other pressures', of course, were fear of exciting the Islamist lobby in Londonistan and their fellow travelers, the fear of appearing bigoted for profiling two British citizens who `happened to be Muslims', and the understandable inclination of investigators and law enforcement to avoid lawsuits, career damage and trouble for erring on the side of being overly suspicious, cautious and `bigoted'. So people died and hundreds were injured.

The bombing, by the way, cost all of $15,000 or so to pull off. And as the head of M15 Dame Eliza Manningham- Buller said, terrorists will definitely hit Britain in the future. ``We will continue to stop most of them, but we will not stop all of them.'

An interesting side remark on this cited in the article came from a Bloomberg TV interview with Katherine Baskerville of Exclusive Analysis, a London-based risk-forecasting company. "Even with greatly increased resources, security services are still going to be struggling to combat this threat because it is so difficult getting to the source of it.''

And there's this from Alan Beith, one of the memebers of Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee that issued the report. "What wasn't appreciated was the speed with which people could become radicalized without people around them even noticing.''

Oh, really ? Try taking a look at what's being preached down at some of the local mosques and madrassahs and you might begin noticing and getting to the source. And actually have a fighting chance of saving your civilization.

Nor are we in the US immune. Today, serial waffler Senator Arlen Spector(r-PA) shook his jowls, pursed his lips and demanded that US phone companies reveal whether they are providing phone records of American citizens to the National Security Agency.

Talk about Senator clueless! Of course they are Senator, as well they should. Just how do you expect the NSA to stay one step ahead of the Islamic terrorists if they aren't given the tools to do the job?

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino was quoted as saying "The intelligence activities of the United States are lawful, necessary and required to protect Americans from terrorist attack."

"All appropriate members of Congress are briefed on the intelligence activities of the United States," Perino added. Perhaps Spector isn't deemed `appropriate'. I could see why.

Just as a comparision. let's take a look at how US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt handled things during WWII.

Roosevelt, aside from incarcerating and/or deporting anyone who was a known security risk or might have potentially been one gave the FBI carte blanche to intercept all overseas phonecalls and cable transmissions and to intercept any domestic mail within the US that it deemed necessary. I've personally seen a citation and medal given to one elderly woman who steamed the stamp off a domestic letter and found some microfilm under it...which resulted in the destruction of a Nazi spy ring and sent 6 spies to the gallows.

Roosevelt, unlike certain politicians and their allies in the Main Stream Media today recognized an existential threat when he saw it and was prepared to do what it took to deal with it.

Spector and those like him need to be challenged forthrightly. Either he is simply clueless, as I suspect, or willfully trying to damage the USA's security apparatus. Either way, this endangers all of us.

I am sick and tired of these people playing games with my life the life of my loved ones and the life of the country I love in order to grandstand for the press, win the PC award and kowtow to the likes of CAIR and the ACLU.

It's high time we started taking this war seriously. Our enemies are, that's for certain. And the longer we continue with the sort of idiocy chronicled in these two items, the more lives it will cost and the longer it will take.

What happened in India 800 years ago is now beginning in Europe. The London bombings are only a prelude to the blitzkrieg to come.

The American historian Will Durant summed it up like this:

"The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within." (Ref http://voi.org/books/negaind/ch2.htm )

Very discouraging. Everybody can see the process repeating in Europe, but nobody apart from the far-right has got any ideas how to stop the barbarians invading and multiplying.

  2. Believe it not,I'm optomistic.at least for some parts of Europe.

Europe's main problem is that it was poisoned by leftism and has forgotten what freedom is..but people are slowly but surely waking upto what it means to lose it, to be dhimmis and have that life.

In much of Europe, the politicians are well behind the curve and there is a great deal of festuring anger at the depredations of many Muslims, who have contempt for their adopted countries and are already acting like conquerers.

In fact, they have made that move too soon, and the reaction will be palpable and deeply felt.
It will, unfortunately undoubtedly be nativist and somewhat fascist, and I perceive a civil war in the future in many parts of Europe.

In the end, at least some Europeans will fight the battle. They will have little choice, unless they either want to be dhimmis, Muslims or dead.
