In first place, and well deserved is Dympna at the excellent site Gates of Vienna: The Last Boat Out of Liverpool. Congrats, Dymphna!
In second place New World Man scores with : You're-being-mean-to-me liberalism- good one, that!
For non-council posts the winner was Villainous Company: Can America Still Win Wars? an examination of our national will as compared to our forefathers.
Second place honors went to American Digest's Of a Fire in a Field, a fascinating revisiting of the days after 9/11 and a pesonal review of `United 93'
