250 rockets hit northern Israel as Hezbollah and Lebanon hedge on the ceasefire
Israeli rescue workers in Haifa
Hezbollah blitzed northern Israel today withover 250 rockets, including five Khaibar-1 missiles. Over 30 people were injured and one man in Yaara was killed as the missiles hit Haifa, Safed and other areas in the Beit Shean and Jezreel valleys south of Haifa.
Meanwhile, on the Lebanese side, there are problems implementing the ceasefire.
A critically important Lebanese Cabinet meeting set for today to discuss implementing the cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah was postponed indefinately, which means that there will likely be delay in dispatching those 15,000 Lebanese army troops to the south and a delay in the end of the fighting.
Nasrallah has apparently broken his word to the Lebanese government to order Hezballah fighters south of the Litani to hand in their weapons to allow Lebanese army troops to be deployed there.
Ceasefire? Hahahaha!
In response to the Lebanese government, Nasrallah said he would wait a month to see how Israel’s retreat from the disputed Shabaa Farms on the Syrian border was progressing!
No international peacekeepers will deploy without a Lebanese military presence. And there won't be a Lebanese military presence the way things stand now because the Lebanese army chiefs refuse to deploy south of the Litani if the Hezballah fighters are armed.
(FF notes...remember, according to the UN ceasefire, these same Lebanese army toops are the ones whop are going to supposedly keep Hezbollah peaceful and out of south Lebanon!! Un-freaking-believable.)
It looks like Sheik Nasrallah and Hezbollah got different orders from Iran. I wouldn't be surprised if Iran told Nasrallah to keep the fighting going for another three weeks or a month to keep the focus off Iran and its nukes.
Stay tuned....
Translation: No cease fire, keep fighting. I hope Olmert got the memo.
ReplyDeleteJust one question does this man look like the kind of person you would buy a car from? I don't think so, only if he shaved his butt and walked backwards would he come close to having a face one could trust.
