Some Brits say `enough'...and refuse to fly until suspicious Muslims are removed from an airliner

I have mixed feelings about this story, to tell you the truth..but I think it's a sign of things to come.

Flight 631, flying to Manchester from Malaga Airport in the Costa Del Sol in Spain was the scene of a mutiny when passengers refused to fly until suspicious Muslims were removed from the plane.

The passengers refused to allow the flight to take off until two men they feared were terrorists were forcibly removed.

The incident in Malaga happened last Wednesday when two British citizens in their 20s waited in the departure lounge to board the pre-dawn flight and two Muslims were heard talking what passengers took to be Arabic. Rumors spread after a female passenger said she had heard something that alarmed her.

The two Pakistanis were acting suspiciously and in spite of the hot weather were wearing leather jackets and thick sweaters, and were regularly checking their watches.

Passengers told cabin crew they feared for their safety and demanded action. Some stormed off the Monarch Airlines Airbus A320 minutes before it was due to leave the Costa del Sol at 3am. Others waiting in the departure lounge refused to board.

The Monarch Air pilot, accompanied by armed Spanish Guardia Civil police and airport security staff, approached the two men and took their passports.

Half an hour later, police returned and escorted the two Asian passengers off the jet. The plane was evacuated, rechecked by security and took off, three hours late. The Pakistanis were cleared by security and flown to Manchester on another flight.

What we have here is passengers doing what their governments won't - taking `profiling' into their own hands. In the abscence of some basic common sense policy, people are simply taking this into their own hands.

I'm very sorry to see this, but in view of recent events, the fault lies squarely with the Muslim Comunity of Britain (and elsewhere) because of their equivical approach to condemning Islamic terrorism and jihad, for whatever reasons or grievances they feel they have.

As is often the case, the victims of this type of fence sitting will be innocent Muslims.

This will not be the last time this happens, especially with British airliners. That you can take to the bank.

maybe if the people refusing to board had been in boston on the morning of 9/11 i wouldn't be commenting here and they would have been defending themselves in a racist court case.
your essay is very close to dhimmitude.
it matters none that they were inconvenienced and cleared to fly later.
better for them to be late than to read about them getting their share of the virgins.
