The Council has spoken! A complete list of results can be found at the site of our fearless leader, the infamous Watcher of Weasels
This week's winner is:
Eternity Road: The Scourging Francis' fine essay on liberal self-hatred. Congratulations, Curmudgeon!
In second place was Leftist media bias, Israeli style : Bookworm Room, Mrs. Bookworms' in depth examination of a truly sleazy ( and fortunately, unsuccessful) attempt by elements in the Israeli media to blacken the name of Yoni Netanyahu, the hero of the famous Entebbe rescue in an attempt to combat his brother Bibi, the leader of the opposition Likud Party. Well done, Mrs. Bookworm!
For non-Council, the winner was:
Gates of Vienna: Universal Moral Equivalence by Council alumnus Baron Bodissey in which he examines the phenomenon of moral equivalence - the equating of vastly different acts and motives to suit a political agenda. Nice to see you back in the winner's circle, Baron.
In second place was Britain and America: It's a long way from Port Stanley to the Shatt-al-Arab waterway a fine entry from across the pond that used the unfortunate coincidence of the anniversary of Britain's heroic confrontation of fascist aggression in the Falklands with the recent appeasement over the 15 British sailors taken hostage on the high seas by Iran to make a point...
Hearty Kudos to all the winners!
