More fallout from Gaza: The CIA to declassify details on decades of secret operations

In a surprise move, the CIA has announced that it will declassify two decades worth of documents on secret operations, according to CIA Director Michael Hayden.

These so-called "Family Jewels" documents record overseas operations, domestic spying, kidnapping and infiltration of leftist groups from the period of 1953 until 1973.

Many of these new found revelations, especially from thelate 1960's and early 1970's are a direct result of Fatah's security files falling intact into the hands of Hamas in Gaza, because of the close cooperation between Abbas' security forces, the CIA and Britain's MI6, a treasure trove covering years of covert operations as well as current intel.

The Fatah operatives made absolutely no attempt to destoy any documents or even erase any computer files while they were besieged by Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas has threatened to release a number of compromising documents, and the CIA obviously decided they might as well do so first.

The CIA also was besieged by the frenzied efforts of self-styled congressional `watchdogs' like Henry Waxman (d-CA) and John Conyers (d-MI) for details on how the CIA infiltrated their favorite subversive groups.

Look for the Democrats in Congress to use these documents for fishing expeditions designed to discredit the CIA and further impact its effectiveness.

War? What war?
