There was a tie in the Council category for first place this week,in which the Watcher cast the deciding vote, per the Council rules.
This week's winner is JoshuaPundit: Syria's Assad Caught With His Fingers In The Nuclear Cookie Jar In which I examined the implications of Assad caught being personally involved with Syria's illegal attempt to put together a Syrian nuclear weapons program with North Korea, as well as the likely fallout(pun intended) on two of Condi Rice's pet projects, the US-North Korea concords and Secretary Rice's much hyped
In second place was :
The Collossus of Rhodey:Why Hate Crimes Are a Joke Part 5783, and Why the University of Delaware Digs 'em In which Hube exposes the Orwellian `thought control'program mandated by the University of Delaware...absolutely chilling.
For non-Council, the winner was The QandO Blog: is This The State Of Academics Today? In Which QandO has a great time pointing out the outright lies and factual errors of a huffPost piece written by an English professor tying the Iraq War to global warming.
In second place for non-Council, the winner was Confederate Yankee: I'm Sorry...Was That Supposed To be Journalism? a definitive piece on the New Republic's continuing to stonewall on the Scott Beauchamp debacle.
Hearty Kudos to all the winners!
It's very revealnig how you Neo-Con, neo-nazi jerkoff wannabes can condemn all liberals for everything under the sun. but somehow you blindly and silently support those such as Bush and Cheney who have authorized and refuse to denounce the use of torture and do not consider waterboarding torture despite the fact it has been against the law in our country for over a century.
ReplyDeleteThis blind allegaince to partisan party politics is one method Hitler, Hussein and other immoral tyrants -- that you claim to despise -- exploited to maintain their unlawful power. And your spineless silence on this issue implicates you directly in their war crimes.
Please expalin how supporting torture under the banner of spreading freedom and democracy is consistent with both U.S. law and the values of America?
And after tackling that one, explain why or why not Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and company should not be prosecuted for war crimes?
