Clintonista and long time Hillary backer Geraldine Ferraro resigned from the Clinton campaign after she refused to recant for simply speaking the truth - that if Barack Hussein Obama weren't black, there's no way he be doing as well as is he is in the race for the Donkey Crown:
"I am sorry that people think this was a racist comment," Ferraro said in an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America" Wednesday. She declined to apologize directly for the firestorm she created when she told a local California newspaper that "if Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position...He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."
What's more, after demanding that her old pal apologize or leave the campaign after the Obama-ites attacked her remarks are pure, evil racism, Lady Macbeth actually did the mea culpa herself:
Of Ferraro's comment, Hillary Clinton told her audience: "I certainly do repudiate it and I regret deeply that it was said. Obviously she doesn't speak for the campaign, she doesn't speak for any of my positions, and she has resigned from being a member of my very large finance committee."
Cue the Twilight Zone theme boys...or maybe a nice spiritual, you know what ahm sayin' ?
First, it's verboten to mention the Chosen One's middle name or question his misstatements about his early Islamic background. Now, nobody's supposed to mention his race?
Only a willful idiot would question the truth about Ms. Ferraro's statement. Aside from the fact that Obama now owns an overwhelming majority of those black Democrats who until recently were the exclusive property of the Clinton plantation by virtue of his race and almost as importantly, that of his spouse, guilty white leftards in droves have flocked to the banner of The Chosen One because of the simple novelty of actually voting for a young, charismatic black man who says nothing sweeter than anyone since William Jennings Bryan. Some of them who are capable of stringing together a few coherent sentences on the matter at places like Huffpo, Daily Kos or The Moderate Voice or even within the dinosaur media even go as far as to admit that a President Obama will 'heal America's racial divide.'
Actually, a lot of that healing has already occurred - except maybe in places like Obama's racist Afro-Centric church and with Pastor Wright, the man Obama describes as his spiritual mentor. Or with people like Louis Farrakhan and various members of CAIR,who like Obama a whole lot.
Geraldine Ferraro was exactly right -if Barack Hussein Obama looked like Dennis Kucinich, he have about the same constituency.
"Only a willful idiot would question the truth about Ms. Ferraro's statement"
ReplyDeleteWell said FF. About the only thing I would disagree with is I think he would have a slightly higher constituency than Kucinich, but certainly not enough to be leading at this point in the campaign. However, you are entitled to some literary liberty in order to drive home your point, so you get a pass on that and a well done for the rest of the post.
this is absolute lunacy.
ReplyDeleteit doesn't seem to matter to these people that this guy is a socialist & racist. they all seem to be so giddy to put their heads on the chopping blocks. no wonder we're not going to win this war on jihad.
quite honestly, that apology by hillary sounds an awful lot like a concession speech to me.
now had the hussein people come out and said the only reason hillary is in the position she is is due to the fact she was married to a former president, her gender, the hussein people would have just blown off any resulting critcism.
it's too bad monkey boy didn't try this tactic. accusing people of incorporating monkey into his name weekend monkey as being racist. it shouldn't matter that the little fur ball climbs trees and OMG what is that smell? none of that should have mattered. right? if chimp boy had used that approach the only thing he would have had to explain was why he is so stoooopid.
Thanks for the kind words, Fritz
ReplyDeleteHi Louie ,
Hmmm...not that he needs me to defend him, I seem to recall you were astonished by the brilliance of some of Monkey's ideas, like his take on fixing illegal immigration.
And speaking of stupid, Monkey's picked the winners in the primaries AND in the Superbowl and made a nice hunk o' change doing it, even in New Hampshire, where he not only picked Hillary to win but correctly picked the exact order and margin for the GOP field, something no other pollster or pundit has been able to duplicate.
How was your track record in these matters?
That Monkey has a raw feel for the political jungle, and his political acumen has been praised as far afield as England, Germany, and the Middle East.
If he wasn't Weekend Monkey,he'd have his own show on cable right now.
So show the little guy some respect....OK?
Regards,
ff
