Iraq Coverage Declines 92% In One Year

Ah, the price of victory..especially where the dinosaur media is concerned.

The Democracy Project analyzed a recent report published at the American Journalism Review titled "Whatever Happened to Iraq?" and came up with some amazing statistics.

The portion of network news shows devoted to Iraq went from from 23% to a mere 3%, a 92% decline compared to last year:

Cable news show time on Iraq dropped even further, from 24% to 1% over last year:

And according to the AJR report, print news on Iraq plummeted by 70% over last year.

Maybe they figure that if they don't report on how well things are going, nobody will know. Ssssh!
