Answered Prayers - Rain For Israel

I seem to be in a spiritual mode today...not at all a bad thing.

If you remember, I wrote a piece on an appeal by The Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, Shlomo Amar, that Jews fast and pray this Thursday (28th Tevet) for rain to ease Israel's drought.

Accordingly, I fasted today (the 28th day of Tevet came yesterday in Israel, but today here) and prayed to Almighty G-d to send rain to the Holy Land to succor Israel and replenish it.I definitely felt the connection.

Today, I looked at the weather forecast for Israel and saw heavy rains predicted all over the country starting January 17th.
