Ladies And Gentlemen, The Next Senator From The Great State Of Louisiana!!

Yes indeed!

Adult film actress Stormy Davis revealed (no pun intended) today that she will make a final decision on running for the Louisiana Senate seat that's up for grabs by tax day, April 15th. Not only that, but here's another shocker...Daniels has turned Republican - thanks to Michael Steele:

“While this decision has not been an easy one, recent events regarding Republican National Committee fundraising at Voyeur, an L.A.-based lesbian bondage-themed nightclub, finally tipped the scales,” she said in a statement. “For me, this spirit can be summed up in the RNC’s investment of donor funds at Voyeur. As someone who has worked extensively in both the club and film side of the adult entertainment industry, I know from experience that a mere $1,900 outlay at a club with the reputation of Voyeur is a clear indication of a frugal investment with a keen eye toward maximum return.”

She added: “As is the case with so many of my fellow Louisianans, I have been a registered Democrat throughout my life. But now I cannot help but recognize that over time my libertarian values regarding both money and sex and the legal use of one for the other [are] now best espoused by the Republican Party.”

Welcome aboard Stormy. It's a big tent, and us small government types need to stick together.

My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw the picture of Stormy appearing on my computer screen. Maybe you should have a warning like NSFW.

  2. My apologies! Since she was wearing clothing in this one and unaccompanied (!) I didn't figure it was in the NSFW cata.

    Sorry about that.

when ff posts stuff like this, it makes me wonder just how big a tent it is, and how crowded it will be in that tent with stormy and ff, and if ms. J/P will be in the same tent.

  4. Hi Louie,
I was speaking figuratively, of course. As to inhabiting that tent up close and personal...why shoot for excess when you already have more than enough on your plate to handle?

Trust me, that's a sure path to trouble and lack of sleep.

    Regards,
    Rob

the tent comment was plan B.
i tried numerous times to put together some comment about how "what she has done" is no different to what the politicians do to us anyway, so now we'll enjoy it.
    yada
    yada
but i just couldn't phrase it the way i wanted to.
so, you got the lame tent comment.

  6. Have to disagree with you here, Louie.

Stormy actually provides VALUE for money, as opposed to simply stealing it because she's in a position to do so. In fact, I think that was the whole point of her comment in the article.I'm only surprised she took so long to puzzle it out, as she seems fairly intelligent.

If she runs, its interesting that she'll be pitted in the GOP primary against David Vitter, who as you may recall also has some first hand experience with the adult entertainment industry....!

while i do understand the, thrust, of your comment, it is a well known fact that politicians are frugal, if not downright cheap, with their own money, while being lavish with taxpayers finances.
that is what i would like to, insert, into the discussion.
and while she may have been, stimulated, by this apparent display of restraint, and or investment, once the deal is done, others may try to, inject, other issues beyond her control.
all of the comments about spitzer and vitter and who knows else will no doubt be brought up. it is important, though, that she be able to go the distance if, tapped, for the nomination.
    i am sure you understand.
