It looks like the Big Guy is seeking a higher profile.
The New Jersey governor is going on a road trip to endorse and fundraise for GOP gubernatorial candidates...including a stop in Iowa to boost gubernatorial candidate Terry Branstad.
Christie's a great speaker and will undoubtedly add to his national footprint this way. He is, after all, a symbol of how a conservative can win in a Blue state.
Needless to say, the Politico quotes a Democrat hack extensively in the article touting Christie as 'an antidote for Palinism'...like the Democrats would ever support any Republican! Not to mention Christie and Palin have a lot in common when it comes to their attitudes on government.
Just more proof, if it were needed how scared the Left is of a certain ex-Governor in Alaska.
This could definitely be a sign of larger ambitions 0n Christie's part for 2012.
