Experts Back Sarah Palin's Historical Account Of Paul Revere

Yes, as I pointed out earlier, she was right again..you betcha!

Boston University history professor Brendan McConville said, “Basically when Paul Revere was stopped by the British, he did say to them, ‘Look, there is a mobilization going on that you’ll be confronting,’ and the British are aware as they’re marching down the countryside, they hear church bells ringing — she was right about that — and warning shots being fired. That’s accurate.”

Patrick Leehey of the Paul Revere House said Revere was probably bluffing his British captors, but reluctantly conceded that it could be construed as Revere warning the British.

“I suppose you could say that,” Leehey said

Even blogpal Professor Bill Jacobsen weighed in, with probably the most intelligent comment:

Cornell law professor William Jacobson, who asserted last week that Palin was correct, linking to Revere quotes on his conservative blog Legalinsurrection.com, said Palin’s critics are the ones in need of a history lesson. “It seems to be a historical fact that this happened,” he said. “A lot of the criticism is unfair and made by people who are themselves ignorant of history.”

Ignorant of it...or whom have an agenda is distorting it.

I think Palin just doesn't know what she is talking about...as usual. Her response was ignorant and now for it to be spinned as if she possessed some esoteric knowledge of history about when Revere was stopped by the British is ridiculous. Even if I was going to accept this absurd premise, it is still clear that Palin needs to articulate herself more clearly. If Palin wants to discuss the finer details of history, then she should do it without sounding like mumbling idiot!

  2. *chuckle* just kills that once again, she was right doesn't it?

It's not really necessary for you to accept it. Paul Revere's own account of what happened proves it. Unless you think Paul Revere didn't know what he was talking about..

Also, just a tip... it's probably a good idea for you to keep a closer watch on your grammar and useage if you're going to call someone else a 'mumbling idiot'!

    Regards,
    Rob
