"Viva Mexico?" What did Mexico do for him? The Mexican government could have intervened on his behalf and prevented the execution, if they wanted to. Apparently even the Mexican government did not want any thing to do with this man.
"Viva Mexico" actually says allot. There are a number of Mexicans who are still bitter about their country's defeat in the Mexican-American war. They want the lands they lost in this war, as well Texas, back. Given this situation, is it wise for America to allow virtually unrestricted access to its country from Mexico? I would say not.
