Allen West Has A One-Word Response To CAIR

The South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) , a Muslim Brotherhood front group sent a letter to Rep. Allen West at the beginning of the month. The letter, from CAIR South Florida Executive Director Nezar Hamze, demanded that Rep.West cut his ties with 'Islamophobes' Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Joe Kaufman, and Joyce Kaufman, among others.

Congressman West's one word response is below:

  1. And what makes it even better is that this reply is an homage to then-Brigadier General Anthony McAuliffe, who issued the same response to a German request that he surrender the 101st Airborne, which was defending Bastogne, Belgium in December of 1944.

The reply encouraged his cold, hungry troops, and they managed to maintain their line, which contributed to the US victory in the Battle of the Bulge.

It's hard to tell if you know this or not from your post, but West is quoting Gen. McCauliffe's demand of surrender from the Germans.

with all due respect to ff, for continually chastising me for my references to americans being dumber than a sack of hair.
    just watch this video.
please note the almost sound of glee in the reporter's voice when he reports about the historical reference given during WWII by gen. mcauliffe. as though he has truly uncovered something significant.
please also note the cair representatives dismissive denigrating of col. west.
    americans.
dumber than a sack of hair.

  4. I think Col, West was sending a deliberate message to CAIR..that their demand for surrender was going to be rejected.I'm sure he was fully aware of the historical context.

I would certainly expect the dinosaur media to be fellating CAIR - they love Islamists and always have, and it gets particularly ludicrous watching someone like CNN's Anderson Cooper do it, considering the Islamic position on homosexuals.

It's a pity that a hero and patriot like Col. West wasn't the first black president. That would truly have inspired the nation.
