Kerry: Media Has "Responsibility" To "Not Give Equal Time" To The Tea Party
Here's the senior senator from Massachusetts at his freedom lovin' best:
"And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it's exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual."
"It doesn't deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what's real, of who's accountable, of who is not accountable, of who's real, who isn't, who's serious, who isn't?"
On MSNBC,of course. Hey, why debate when you can just censor?
Tell me Senator, who should the media give equal time to? An opportunistic US senator who arguably committed treason during war time, perjured himself in front of Congress and whose chief skill in life appears to be a facility in marrying rich women?
And I suppose that bit in your oath of office about how you swore to "support and defend the Constitution" was just you kidding us. Not a surprise.
Oh, and by the way Senator - we're all still waiting for you to sign that form 180 so that the public can see your full military records, including exactly how and why you were discharged. After all,it's been what, about 7 years since you promised to do that and we're still waiting.
Don't forget Senator "I never met a tax increase I would not vote for" Kerry parked his boat in another state to avoid paying taxes on it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the reason John Kerry and Bashar Assad get along so well is because they share the same dictatorial tendencies.
