Shalit Deal - Slightly Better Than First Reported

The deal between Hamas and Israel to free kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit in exchange for over 1,000 terrorist killers in Israeli prisons was approved by the Israeli cabinet. But the deal is somewhat better for Israel than first reported.

Contrary to earlier reports, a number of the top 'Palestinian' terorrists will not be freed as part of the deal. Among them are:

Marwan Barghouti, who was sentenced to five life sentences for his role in the murders of Israelis during the al-Aksa intifada.

Abdullah Barghouti, who is serving 67 consecutive life terms for building bombs that murdered 66 people.

Ahmed Saadat, the head of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and was convicted for his role in the assassination of Israeli minister Rehavam Ze'evi(Z"L).

Hassan Salama, a Hamas leader who was convicted of murdering 67 Israeli citizens, at least half of them children.

Abbas a-Sayed, mastermind of the Park Hotel suicide bombing in Netanya that murdered 30 Israelis at a Passover Seder in 2002.

Ibrahim Hamed, who was found guilty of participating in terrorist attacks that led to the death of 82 Israelis.

Another slight silver lining is that the first batch of 450 jihadis to be released, 300 are either going to be banished to Gaza or overseas. At that the second batch of 577 terrorists to be released will be of Israel's choosing.

One of the prisoners set to be released is particularly sickening. Her name is Amina Mona, and she was sentenced to life imprisonment for luring a lovestruck Israeli teenage boy by the name of Ophir Nahum she met over the internet to a meeting where he was abducted, tortured horribly and murdered by waiting terrorists. She's never yet expressed the slightest remorse for her actions.

Another monster who will walk free is Ahlam Tamimi, sentenced to 16 life terms for her participation in the horrific Sbarro pizza parlor bombing in Jerusalem in August 2001.

And they will both be released to a hero's welcome by the 'Palestinians'.

To give you an idea of what this feels like for the families of the people I like to refer to as the victims of Oslo, I recommend you read this piece by Arnold Roth, who's fifteen-year-old daughter Malki ( HY"D) was murdered in the Sbarro bombing. It will break your heart.
