Whoopsie! Another Iranian Nuclear Scientist Goes Boom...

Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a chemistry expert and a director of the Natanz uranium enrichment facility took the dirt nap today when two unknown assailants on a motorcycle attached a magnetic bomb to his car. He's now halal bits and pieces.

The US formally denied any involvement, which is probably true. I have a feeling it's a lot more likely the Mossad and the Mujahadeen-e-Khalq (MEK) might be able to shed some light on the matter.

I don't know if they have life insurance in Iran, but if they do, the rates must be pretty sky high on anyone working at an Iranian nuclear plant!

"The US formally denied any involvement..." This has to be true. The US intellegence services lack the competence to pull off an operation of this type. Even if they did Iranian officials buried deep within the US government would have warned the appropiate Iranian personnel in ample time to have prevented the attack.

For this reason, Israel no doubt understands the need to keep the US in the dark on such matters. Any thing revealed to the Americans undermines the operation's chances of success. Since this is in our interest that the Israelis succeed, the less we know the better and the less involved we are the better.

The Mujahadeen-e-Khalq is an Iranian opposition group is it not? The problem with relying on Islamic opposition groups or "native" oppostion groups in these countries is all factions hate the United States and should they come to power would only continue the same anti-American policies the old boss had established. In many cases, if not all cases, they hate us more than they hate the opposition. Perhaps this is different. Maybe they hate Israelis less than they hate Americans. In any event, one should proceed with extreme caution when dealing with such groups. They will use an infidel temporarily to gain an advantage against a common adversary then when that adversary is defeated will turn on you in a flash!! In any event, the Mossad is highly skilled and professional. I trust they know exactly what they are doing.

I wonder who drove the motorcycles. It seems like it would be pretty easy to track where the vehicles came from and where they went. For Israeli agents to have carried this out, they would had to have gotten them into the country, gained access to the vehicles, covered their tracks in the use of the vehicles, and gotten out of the country. While doable, it would be extremely difficult. This leads me to wonder if this is an "inside job" carried out by supposed high level members of the Iranian government. If so, this means the Iranian government is not unified and there might be someone in a position to influence things who does not wish death to America and Israel. This is potentially very exciting!!

If there really is a valid not anti-American opposition in Iran, then this means the government may be able to be overthrown from within or at the very least they may be to distracted to try and carry out their sinister plans for America.

I meant a valid opposition in Iran that is not fundamentally anti-American.

First of all we can rule out American involvement in something like this. The Americans lack the competence and the courage that would be necessary to carry out something like this. Also, the Americans have condemmed this. This should settle the issue right there about American involvement. Unfortunately the media is continuing to drone on and on about how America is trying to provoke a war with Iran.

Now with tha said something about this doesn't pass the "smell test." Has it been verified tha tthis man really is dead? A man of this significance would be guarded by highly dedicated security personnel 24/7. His car would be traveling in a convoy of security personnel of multiple cars that would provide a perimeter around him that would be quite extensive. To get motorcycles into this convoy to carry this out would be almost impossible. Also, it would be a fairly simple matter to track where the motorcycles came from and where they went after the attack. Even if they some how managed to penetrate the security convoy, they would be shot or captured upon trying to leave the scene.

It seems this either has to be an inside job or it was staged by the Iranian government. Since all Iranian opposition groups that seem to be known support Iran's goal of getting nuclear weapons, hate America, and hate Israel it seems exceedingly unlikely they would act to kill a man of these credentials. As such, I think the most likely conclusion is this was staged.

Why would the Iranians do this? They want an excuse to go to war with America or better yet they want to provoke America into an attack with them so they will have a good excuse to attack America and it sinterests. They've likely been guaranteed Russian and Chinese assistance should such a war come to pass.

I'm not saying don't go to war with Iran but it is vitally important that Americans understand what is happeneing. Unforutnately the media is not helpful here. In working tirelessly to undercut an American military operation against Iran, they've seriously undermined American national defense.

Whether or not this was deliberate on the part of the media is not known at this time. I'm inclined to believe this is a case of media personnel allowing themselves to be blinded by ideology. Nevertheless they are not to be trusted.
