Obama's Apology Fails To 'Calm Things Down' - Two More American Soldiers Murdered In Afghanistan

Contrary to President Obama's statements to that effect, his groveling apology hasn't 'calmed things down' in Afghanistan after the burning of Q'urans Taliban prisoners were using to send secret messages to each other.

Two more American soldiers were murdered by an Afghan soldier and a literacy teacher at a joint base in southern Afghanistan shortly after NATO Commander General John Allen ordered a small number of foreign advisers to return to work at Afghan ministries after more than a week of being locked down in secure locations.

And the Afghan government, our supposed allies, are calling for American troops who were responsible for the Q'uran burnings to be turned over to them for trial under Sharia law.

President Obama apparently sent a letter to Afghan President Hamid Karzhai promising that the troops involved would be punished for their actions.

Part of the three-page letter to Karzai said, “I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies. We will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible.”

There is an investigation byNATO that is ongoing as I write this.
