Obama Activist Convicted Of Multiple Voter Fraud Gets Early Release From Prison
You may remember our friend Mellowese Richardson, formerly of ACORN,, who in 2012 was an Obama activist and poll worker in Ohio. She was convicted of four counts of multiple voter fraud in a plea bargain in exchange for dropping multiple other felony voter fraud charges. A long time resident and a poll worker in Cincinnati’s Madisonville neighborhood since 1998, she used information she had privy to as a poll worker to submit phony absentee ballots and 'vote' numerous times through the years, including voting three times for a relative who has been in a coma since 2003.She was finally busted after the 2012 election, when county Board of Elections workers “noticed a bunch of absentee ballots coming from the same place with the same handwriting.
There's literally no way to know how many times she illegally voted or who else might have been in on it with her..which, of course is why Democrats fight voter ID laws and any attempt to purge the rolls of dead people, non-residents and felons like crazed hyenas.
Ms. Richardson didn't help her trial any with a fairly nasty attitude, spouting off that she was going to "fight for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama’s right to sit as president of the United States” and the usual accusations of you-know-what.
She got five years.
But today, after only a few months in jail, she's back on the streets, with the balance of her sentence changed to probation. Because she gave her attorney permission to release her medial records showing she suffers from -wait for it- bi-polar disorder!
Which leads to a couple of other questions. How long ago was she diagnosed? If she had this disorder all along, why wasn't it brought up at the original trial? If this was an ongoing problem, did she disclose it when she became a poll worker? Or was she diagnosed recently and did someone help her go shrink shopping to make sure she got the 'right' diagnosis she needed to her get out of jail free card?
And by the way, as a convicted felon, were her voting rights restored? I wouldn't be at all surprised.
Aside from any grace and favor she might have gotten from the president and/or the Justice Department, one reason she was probably kicked loose so easily is because of the overcrowding in prisons and the need for accommodations for new 'guests.'
But I have a feeling that if she was a Tea Party activist jailed under the exact same circumstances, space would have somehow been found to keep her locked up.
Just sayin'.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the name "Mellowese".
ReplyDeleteCorruption related to Obama? I'm shocked. That is to say, not shocked.
If only we could also send to jail the legislators in North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, etc. that have passed restrictive laws meant (and admitted to!) keeping minorities from voting.
ReplyDelete"The reduction in the number of days allowed for early voting is particularly important because early voting plays a major role in Obama’s ground game. The Democrats carried most states that allow many days of early voting, and Obama’s national field director admitted, shortly before last year’s election, that ‘early voting is giving us a solid lead in the battleground states that will decide this election."
Phyllis Schlafly
"Voter ID laws will allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania.”
-Mike Turzai
"The Republican Party, the strategists, the consultants, they firmly believe that early voting is bad for Republican Party candidates,” Greer told the Post. “It’s done for one reason and one reason only ... ‘We’ve got to cut down on early voting because early voting is not good for us."
-Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer
This woman you're so concerned about is small potatoes compared to your average Republican lawmaker. How terrible it must be to know that the only way you can national elections is by disenfranchisement of our poorest citizens.
The silver lining is that the efforts by republicans to keep minorities from the voting booth backfired - blacks and hispanics were pissed and turned out (when and where they were allowed to) in record numbers. Keep up the good work republicans. Say goodbye to the White House forever.
Hey Rob. Democrats don't need to cheat to win national elections. You guys are making it too easy for us as it is.
Classic. First the line from you and Democrats all the way to the White House is that voter fraud is a myth, it doesn't exist. Now when someone gets caught at it largely because she was clumsy (along with all the other incidents I and other have cited) it's 'small potatoes'!
ReplyDeleteSo you think blacks and Hispanics are too stupid to obtain ID's like the rest of us? Sounds pretty racist to me.
My elderly mother uses a walker and doesn't drive, yet she managed to get a state ID easily (with the fee waived, since she's on SS, just like every state in the union waives the fees if you can't afford them financially) and she votes in every election, in person and at the polling place. You telling me that if she can do it, 'minorities' can't just because they happen to be black and Hispanic? Yeah, pretty racist I'd say, and insulting.
As for early voting, quit the BS. You and I both know that most early voting is absentee ballots, which is voter fraud heaven. That's exactly how our friend Mellowese gamed the system.
C'mon Anon. We both know you could care less about 'minorities voting'. It's all about fighting tooth and nail to keep voter fraud alive and well to elect Democrats.
Oh, and BTW, about those pissed off voters? 2/3 of the eligible Hispanic voters either stayed home or voted Republican.
And blacks? they're about 12% of the electorate, and in 2012, 66.2 of them voted, with 93% voting for Obama. There's no telling what percentage of those votes were legal, but let's take those numbers at face value. That gives Barack Obama 15,272,308 black votes. Since a fair amount of those votes were racist in origin, strictly because Obama was black - just ask Samuel L. Jackson - good luck getting that kind of 'turnout' for Hillary or whomever.
Require voter ID's in every state and get an honest AG instead of Eric Holder and the Obama Justice Department who will end the gratuitous lawsuits to prevent states from purging the rolls of dead people, felons and move aways no longer registered in their districts and watch what happens.
Admit it Anon. You'd love one party rule and are willing to use whatever means necessary to get it.

Hey, the Obama administration is just rewarding loyalty, of service above and beyond.
that's right anon, just have the election officials enter the totals from the keyboards of their laptops.
ReplyDeletelike in philadelphia, and those two counties in ohio.
as for the essay, i am shocked, shocked i tell you.
shocked, that ff says one thing and then does another.
Which leads to a couple of other questions.
a couple?
ff then goes on to ask over a half dozen questions to the point. i mean come on now, what do you call a couple?
this is absolutely horrible of ff to do this.
i'm going to report ff to eric holder or anon. no difference.
