The 'Right Scoop'
has the full video of Rep. Trey Gowdy, the head of the new House Select committee on Benghazi taking on a roomful of Lefties and coming out on top.
As I
mentioned before, Gowdy has a long time history as a successful prosecutor, and it shows.
We may finally actually get to the bottom of this.
I watched the video. If this is a "roomful of lefties," it seems to me the questions asked were fair questions and their was an excellent back and forth between Mr. Gowdy and the news people.
ReplyDeleteWhile it would be good to get to the bottom of this, this is a truly depressing state of affairs. Benghazi is but minor issue. The nation faces far more serious problems. What our leaders are focusing on is all wrong!! The two main issues our leaders seem focused on are as follows: 1.)the creation of another Arab state as Israel's expense seems to be the centerpiece of our foreign policy. While I'm not unmindful of the pressure American leaders are likely under regarding this, nonetheless this is wrongheaded policy. 2.)The Republicans seem to have decided to make Benghazi a primary focus. Most Americans are focused on bigger issues to themselves.
Currently America has quite stupidly involved itself in the conflict within Ukraine and risks a confrontation with Russia. This is probably the stupidest move a nation has ever made in the history of civilization. Unfortunately this looks to be bipartisan stupidity!! The top goal of Republicans at this juncture should be working on finding a way to extricate ourselves from this at virtually any cost not investigating Benghazi.
Gowdy on MSNBC: I will not let anyone fund raise on the deaths of four americans.
ReplyDeleteAt the exact same time, the RNC sends out a Benghazi fund raising email. Send us Benghazi money!!
I thought we'd have to wait for the hearing to start before this thing became a laughing stock. But you republicans never stop being absolutely incompetent at everything. This is going to be AWESOME.
What Trey Gowdey actually said is that he would hate to see anyone in the GOP would fundraising on this investigation. He has no actual power to stop anyone from doing it, as anyone with the intelligence of a rock would know.
ReplyDeleteSecond, let's remember that the Democrats have fundraised on items like Sandy Hook, the Gabby Gifford shooting, The Boston Marathon Bombing, Katrina, Iraq and Afghanistan, and lying about serving in Vietnam.
Democrats also played games with funding in Congress while our troops were under fire, including Hillary, Harry Reid,Joe Biden And Obama.
Sh*t for brains as well as hypocritical. Not a good combination, Anonymous.
So this Benghazi business is all about fundraising, then? So glad to see you finally admit it. I guess the whole 'two wrongs don't make a right' never reached your ears.
ReplyDeleteAgain, these hearings are going to be amazing. I only hope they last through November. I could really enjoy seeing Speaker Pelosi again.
This is such a disaster that even B.Poster is making sense! Amazing.
Thanks for giving me a good laugh as I watch you try to spin getting caught (again) looking like an ill-informed idiot.
ReplyDelete'All about fundraising'? My,my.
I will remind you of this, however. Pelosi made a major error and there no one like that Marxist partisan creep Elijah Cummings to illegally feed the inner details of the committee's strategy and deliberations to the very people and agencies the committee will be investigating. He's currently up on ethics violations for that, BTW.
Instead, you will have a couple of very experienced, honest and successful ex-federal prosecutors and lawyers very familiar with evidence and process meticulously sorting through the lies, high crimes and misdemeanors involved in the death of these four Americans.
Remember Watergate, chump? Nixon looked like he might just skate until the Republicans, who had enough of a minority in 1973 to block impeachment proceedings decided justice and the country were more important than partisan loyalty. It was Tennessee Republican Sen. Howard Baker who first asked that famous question "What did the president know and when did he know it?"
And it was a delegation of GOP senators led by Barry Goldwater who convinced Nixon to resign.
Now, we know the majority of Democrats care a lot more about partisan loyalty than they do about justice and the country, which is why Mr. Bill was able to avoid being impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury. But nobody died, and there wasn't a whole slew of other scandals and illegal behavior..at least not that most people knew about then. And the rest of the Clinton cabinet weren't as heavily involved here as the Obama people are with Benghazi.
The nation, unlike 1973, has a lot of alternative sources of info, the dinosaur media's cred is shot and a lot of things that have already come to light in a small way are going to become common knowledge for the American people. If the GOP takes the Senate,(perhaps even if they don't) you're going to see a lot of Democrats wondering to themselves if Obama is worth going down with the ship for.
It's a long shot, but there may be a few Democrat senators whose common decency is so outraged and sense of survival so activated that we might see a replay of what he Republicans did with Nixon.
Of course to a mental delinquent like you, it's just another excuse to bah bah bah like the warped little sheep you are.
