Why Hasn't Louis Farrakhan Been Arrested?
Here's The Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan speaking for his #JusticeOrElse movement at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami:
"I'm looking for ten thousand...in the midst of a million. I'm looking for ten thousand in the midst of the million. Ten thousand fearless men. Who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny."
'Death is sweeter than to continue to live and bury our children while white folks give the killer...hamburgers."
"Death is sweeter! Than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of the 400 year old enemy. Death, death is sweeter."
"The Qu'ran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain."
“So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling,”
This is not protected speech under the First Amendment...just ask Tom Metzger of White Aryan Resistance about that. This is a direct, clear, imminent incitement to violence as outlined by the Supreme Court in Virginia v Black, Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire and other cases.
It is also certainly a violation of Florida's state laws (Florida Statutes Section 877.03 and Florida Statutes Section 870.01), and of the City of Miami's civil code.
Nor is this the first time he's used this kind of language. So why wasn't Louis Farrakhan charged and arrested? Change the word 'white ' to 'black' in the above transcript. Do you think a white speaker saying the same things would have been arrested, as I think he or she should have been?
Guesses?
