With Trump now in the lead in North Carolina, you'd think the last thing Hillary Clinton would be doing is canceling a lucrative and badly needed appearance in the Tarheel State.
But CBS reported that Clinton campaign officials said that a Tuesday fundraiser in the Democrat college town enclave of Chapel Hill was 'postponed' indefinitely, without any reason being given.
The fundraiser was billed as “lunch with Hillary Rodham Clinton” and had four donation' levels for attendees. They ranged from $100,000, which featured “chair reception with Hillary,” $33,000, which included a “host reception with Hillary,” $5,000, which included “preferred seating” and $2,700...which, I suppose, allowed you to have her used napkins or something as a keepsake of the happy event.
You'd think the lure of cash would have revived her, but apparently not.
North Carolina isn't just a battleground state with a close race according to the polls. This comes at a time when Donald Trump is surging and Mrs. Clinton badly needed to make an appearance to quell rumors about her failing health that now are looking more like reality. Here she is just two days ago...
trump's Tweet? "Hillary Clinton is taking the day off again, she needs the rest. Sleep well Hillary - see you at the debate!"
Whatever the reason, Trump took full advantage of Hillary's absence. He did events in Kenansville, a small Eastern North Carolina town at the Duplin County Event Center that drew at least 10,000 people...
And followed up with a similar sized rally in High Point:
A pretty excited young college crowd at the High Point rally!
Looks like a lot of people in North Carolina wanted to hear what he had to say, as opposed to a handful of elites at a fundraiser interested in buying access to a corrupt shill.
That photo you said is from two days ago is most definitely NOT. It is actually from August 7th, as most people reading this will realize, since it has been all over the media since then. Granted, there is a photo of her supposedly being helped up the stairs on Sept 19th, and it can be found here: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/09/hillary-holds-small-rally-temple-university-helped-stairs/
ReplyDeleteIf you want to establish any credibility, you should really check your sources.
The only thing you dispute is the actual date of the photo. Really diesn't matter if it was 9/16 or 8/7. We a president who doesn't lie about her health -- among other things.
DeleteAs you have pointed out, her presidency has already been sold. If she loses, the investors jus made a "bad investment" as you put it. If she drops out of the race, these investors will come to the Clintons looking to get their money back which the Clintons either don't have or it is locked up in the Clinton Foundation. As such, she has to keep going.
ReplyDeleteNow what happens if she neither drops out nor loses? In other what happens if the Democrats pull the plug on her candidacy and insert someone else? Clearly the candidate whom these people invested in failed to disclose her health issues. This is an act of fraud. Anyone who applies for a job has to take a company physical. Anyone being considered for CEO of a major corporation is investigated THOROUGHLY. Failure for the CEO candidate to disclose a health related issue or any other issue that might impact their job or the organization would likely be prosecuted for fraud. Anyone withholding key information from a potential employer that could affect their job performance and, if later hired and found out, would be grounds for immediate dismissal and being barred from their particular career or perhaps any other for the rest of their lives. What would happen to Hiliary here as it would seem she clearly failed to disclose to her investors her very serious health issues. Of course a criminal generally does not seek legal recourse against another criminal which would leave only one other option or so it would seem. Perhaps there may be an execution of a former top American official by a scammed "investor." As I think you correctly stated, she must keep going regardless.
There were warning signs aplenty for a very long time about Mrs. Clinton's health that people chose to ignore. If there is any consolation, her medical team is off the hook, as they are forbidden from disclosing the nature of her health condition without the candidate's approval. In fact, anyone disclosing the nature of someone's health condition whether treating the patient or not can find themselves in serious trouble. As such, only a very few medical professionals have spoken about her health issues out of this fear. Perhaps the investors were so eager to buy the presidency that to much greed set in and they failed to notice the obvious regarding the health of the seller that would likely maker her unable to fulfill that which the investors paid for. Greed has a tendency to do this.
Well Tracey, thank you for your information. Google dated this photo as 9/16/16, So it may or may not be correct.
ReplyDeleteHowever, attacking my 'credibility' on these grounds, respectfully, is ridiculous. The story itself, as you know is entirely factual and accurate.
