An Israeli was murdered, and a second one seriously injured in two Palestinian drive by shooting attacks claimed by Fatah-al Aqsa Brigades in northern Samaria (The West Bank ) today.
The murder victim was Eldad Abir, 48, from Migdalim, a father of three. he was shot dead at close range by two masked Palestinians at the local gas station east of Ariel and southeast of Nablus. Three hours later, a second Israeli was seriously hurt in a Palestinian drive-by shooting near Nebi Elias near Qalqilya. Another car was also fired on, but the driver was unhurt.
This follows a stabbing attack yesterday that injured two Israelis near Gush Etzion.
By the way, the Fatah faction is led by `moderate' Abbas...the same terrorist the EU, UN and US just gave money to. Apparently the Palestinians are attempting the same tactics in Jewsih communities in Judea and Samaria that were successful in Gaza.
Speaking of Gaza, the `moderate' Palestinians also fired off 4 more Qassam rockets from Gaza at Israel last night. No casualties were reported.
Let me know when the `truce' everyone keeps talking about starts....
