`Moderate' Abbas: "Aim the guns against Israel!"
The Bush Administration's favorite `moderate', Palestinian capo del tutti Mahmoud Abbas let the mask slip a bit yesterday.
Of course, as Arafat's deputy for almost forty years, Abbas has learned the art of saying one thing to gullible westerners out of one side of his mouth in English while using the other half of his forked tongue to say something very different to his own people - in Arabic, of course.
Speaking to thousands of his Fatah loyalists during a rally marking the 42nd anniversary of the founding of his Fatah party, Abbas urged his followers to use their weapons against the Israelis, presumably including all those shiny new weapons and ammo Fatah just got from the US, with the connivance of the Olmert government.
"We have a legitimate right to direct our guns against Israeli occupation. It is forbidden to use these guns against Palestinians," he said.
Of course, `Israeli occupation' in PalSpeak means Israeli civilians.
Abbas also embraced a typically `moderate' position on any kind of compromise with Israel. He told his supporters that the Palestinians would continue fighting until they established a state with all of Judea, Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
"The issue of the refugees is non-negotiable," Abbas said. "We will not give up one inch of land in Jerusalem and we consider the settlements illegal. We also reject any attempt to resettle the refugees in other countries."
Or, to translate again, Judea, Samaria and half of Jerusalem needs to be ethnically cleansed of any Jews whatsoever. And until that happens, and until what's left of Israel is overrun with thousands of Palestinian `refugees', Abbas and the boys will feel free to continue the War Against the Jews.
He then laid a wreath on the tomb of his predecessor, Yasser Arafat at the Mukata "presidential" compound, the man responsible for the murder of a number of Americans including several US diplomats.
This is the man the American government just pledged over $80 million to.
Consider, if you will, what the reaction of the world press would be if an Israeli leader were to say that all of the Israeli heartland in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria belongs to the Jewish people, that no others would be permitted to live there and that all Palestinians were legitimate targets for violence until that happened.
'Palestine':UNITED WE STAND IN EVIL!
ReplyDelete'Palestinian' unity

Finally some "unity"... some common ground, evil-intention people can agree upon.
For the only 'unity' among 'Palestinian Arabs' is the anti Israel fascism of not even recognizing the "stranger", the "other", the non Muslim (mainly), the non Arab (mostly).
A "unity" Orchestrated by those that export to the world the textbooks as "Christians being Pigs, Jews apes", the wonderful "moderate" Saudi Arabia, the Hatred kingdom, of course.
Did you ever think this oily rich Goliath would ever lift a finger for it's Arab brothers?
"Next to the Jews, we hate the 'Palestinians' the most."
said Saudi King Fahd.
What else is there "unity" among Arab, Muslim bitter bloody enemies of neighbour vs neighbour, brother vs brother, sect vs sect?
Humanity? Goodwill? Are you kidding?
As in Hezbollah Islamists terrorists that made sure Arab kids died with their tactics in a way to blame it on Israel.
The normal world says:
"what unites us is far greater than what divides us."
The death cult says:
"What unites us [for now...] is to smite them".
What unites evil is, 'wiping off map', 'no right to exist', 'drive them all into the sea', second holocaust, you name it!
