Eternity Road; Serving while Republican Francis W. Porretto's examination of the differeing treatment given Democrats and Republican politicians guilty of similar offenses. I think this is Francis' first time in the winner's circle if memory serves me - congratulations, Mr. Curmudgeon!
In second place was my piece, J O S H U A P U N D I T: What are Europe's options?, an examination of Europe's options in dealing with radical Islam in the near future sparked by a Daniel Pipes piece.
For non-Council, the winner was:
Sigmund, Carl and Alfred: Tenured Deceit a fine screed taking apart a racist editorial on Israel in the L.A Times by Saree Makdisi, an Islamist Jew hater posing as a professor of Romantic literature at UCLA.
Always the big lie with people like Makdisi...lie after lie after lie...
In second place was Right Wing Nation: Tips for new teachers Pretty self-explanatory....but you gotta love this blog's heading `Peace Through Superior Firepower.' Amazing ( and heartening) that this guy survives at a modern American university...
