Clinton Campaign Warn's CNN's Blitzer - No `Piling On' Hillary

DRUDGE has the story:

"CNN's Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday's Dem debate on Hillary. 'This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,' top Clinton insider explains. 'Blitzer should not go down to the levels of character attack and pull 'a Russert.'' Blitzer is set to moderate debate from Vegas, with questions also being posed by Suzanne Malveaux.."

I suppose now the Hillary campaign is going to classify Tim Russert as part of that `vast right wing conspiracy' Lady Macbeth has always been so fond of talking about.

In a related item, it appears that the story about the Clinton campaign `planting' friendly questions and questioners in town meeting audiences in Iowa and elsewhere isn't going away either.

In a CNN interview, Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, a 19-year-old sophomore at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, describes how she was recruited as a Hillary shill with a planted question and says that there were a number of people planted in the audience with questions given to them by the campaign.

She also claims that after the story broke, a Clinton operative with the campaign spoke to her to say the campaign requests she "not talk about" the story to any more media outlets and that if she did she should inform a staffer.

"I'm not under any real obligation to do that, and I haven't talked to [the campaign] anymore," Gallo-Chasanoff said.

as this focus of this blog is the fight against ragheads (my term not ff), and as the debate ff mentioned is in "vegas baby" i thought ff would be interested in reading this. the fourth paragraph from the end says it all.

  2. Hi Louie,
Yeah I heard about this...I didn't realize the Israelis were into casinos!

BTW, please don't use that term on this site ever again. You been here awhile, I really value your comments and insight, but that kind of language diminishes it, and it's simply not welcome.

  4. Actually, if you do a search on the site, you'll find I covered that in an article here.

Dubai world is being set up as a gargantuan tourist site...including casinos.

And no, it doesn't square with the Qu'ran...but what I wondered is whether the House will take a hit if they don't serve those `complimentary' drinks in the casino!

  5. Exactly. Russert is a right winger (roll eyes) for asking the queen to clarify are you for or against the licenses? i was for the licenses before i was against them...Amazingly Spritzer dropped the idiotic idea just a day before Hil could get nailed again on the same question in the nest debate. Then he spouts Hil-speak about the Federal gov's failure to act (which it did). She gets a pass on everything by the media from Chinese dishwasher donors to Bill's sex addiction to failure to take an actual stnad on anything at all. Help!!!!!
