The very best of the Jewish blogosphere, this one was wittily dubbed the Slow-Fast edition, because it falls on Tzom Gedalia, the Fast of Gedalia. This is a day when many observant Jews observe a fast until sundown, to memorialize the murder of Gedalia at the time of the Babylonian conquest, someone who could best be characterized as a righteous gentile.
Enjoy the entries...and if you're observing this, have an easy fast.
