Watcher's Council Nominations - Hoax And Change Edition

Welcome to the latest edition of the Watcher's council, a group of some of the most incisive blogs in the`sphere. Every week, the members nominate two posts each, one of their own and one from outside the group for consideration by the whole Council. The Council votes to pick the winners in each category and the results can be seen in this space on Friday morning.

We have a real treat in store for you, Watcher's Council fans! This week marks the addition of two outstanding new members.

For openers, we have Wolf Howling, whom we welcome back as he returns to Council membership after a long absence.

And this marks the debut new Council member American Digest, long a favorite stop in the blogosphere for a number of Council members as well as his many fans.

They're both excellent writers and will reward your attention.
