Obama: "Hey, I'm Not Going To Tax you To Death Until After I'm Re-Elected"
“So, when you hear folks saying ‘Well, the president shouldn’t want massive job killing tax increases when the economy is this weak.’ Nobody’s looking to raise taxes right now. We’re talking about potentially 2013 and the out years.”
Yes, when he's safely re-elected for another four years and you have no leverage on him whatsoever.
Every Republican candidate for president should create an ad out of this clip and run it over and over again, so it attack the national consciousness like a hit song.
Credit where credit is due..President Obama is being entirely honest here for once and letting you know exactly what to expect if he manages to slither back into the White House for four more years. And it won't just be insane taxes. If you liked the first two and a half years of Obama's reign, just wait.
It's like the wise old tale about the woman who found a rattlesnake, took it home as a pet and then wondered in anguish why she ended up being bitten. Sorry lady - you knew it was a rattler when you picked it up.
