Obama Administration To UN - We Apologize For Our Racist, Evil Country!

I did a double take when I read about this, but I shouldn't have been surprised.
Here's a bit from the Obama State Department's first report to the UN Human Rights Council, sent for the approval of beacons of human rights like Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan:
In its first-ever report to the U.N. Human Rights Council on conditions in the United States, the State Department said Monday that some Americans, notably minorities, are still victims of discrimination. Despite success in reforming such inequities as slavery and the denial of women's right to vote, the department said, considerable progress is still needed.
"Although we have made great strides, work remains to meet our goal of ensuring equality before the law for all," it said.
The report noted that although the U.S. now has an African-American president and that women and Hispanics have won greater social and economic success, large segments of American society suffer from unfair policies and practices.
High unemployment rates, hate crime, poverty, poor housing, lack of access to health care and discriminatory hiring practices are among the challenges the report identified as affecting blacks, Latinos, Muslims, South Asians, Native Americans and gays and lesbians in the United States.
You know what's really pathetic? Obama and his minions absolutely belive this nonsense.
And that's a part of why Obama's numbers are so abysmal now - because Americans are finally coming to terms with the fact that we have a president who doesn't like his country much.
A Scary Peek At Who's Supposedly Running Our National Security
Brennan, you'll remember, has famously referred to Jerusalem on a number of occasions by its Arab pseudonym Al-Kuds.
In the first video, he bloviates about how Islamist terrorism has nothing to do with Islam but that the victims who commit these acts (yes, that's how he refers to them believe it or not)are not motivated by Islam but by socio-economic and political circumstances.
Watch his response when Robbins points out that a number of Islamist terrorists actually come from privileged and educated backgrounds ( Abdul Azzam, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Osama bin-Laden, Ramzy Youseff, and virtually all of the 9/11 hijackers are only a few examples):
Below, there is a charming discussion over the nature of jihad which ended in Brennan storming out of the Washington Times offices without answering. The video and transcript is below:
TWT: You mentioned jihad, for example, and would you agree with the lesser and greater and lesser jihad framework? I mean, that’s pretty standard.
BRENNAN: Sure, it is...absolutely.
TWT: Can you give me an example of a jihad in history? Like, has there ever been a jihad...an armed jihad anywhere in history? Has it ever existed for real, or is it just a concept?
BRENNAN: Absolutely it has.
TWT: Example?
BRENNAN: I’m not going to go into this sort of history discussion here.
TWT: But it’s important to frame the concept, because we want to say that what al-Qaeda is doing is not jihad. They say it is, and Abdul Azzam has said, in fact, ‘there’s not even a greater jihad.’ That that’s just a myth—that hadith didn’t even really happen. That there’s only armed jihad. Ayatollah Khomeini said ‘there is only armed jihad, and it would be useful to be able to characterize or to contrast what they’re doing and what they claim against a legitimate armed jihad in the past.
BRENNAN: I think we’ve finished. I have to get going.
Mr. Brennan left our offices immediately after that exchange.
I would say that Brennan's arrogance and outright lies were astonishing except for the unfortunate fact that this sort of behavior is typical of the Obama Administration.
Res ipsa loquiter.

Imam Rauf: "‘The US has more Muslim blood on its hands than al-Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims."
Ah, yes...just another 'moderate' Muslim, no?
And I love the term 'innocent Muslims'. Just how many of the victims of 9/11 qualified as 'innocent in Rauf's eyes? Especially if they weren't Muslim?
And it gets better. We're to blame, apparently, because Saddam Hussein used the Oil for Food money for weapons, palaces and new wood chippers and furnishings for the rape rooms instead of for the needs of the Iraqi people.
Oh, and Islamist terrorism is 'strategic'.
I want everyone who shilled for this Islamist jihadi groupie to apologize to the American people.
And that includes President Barack Hussein Obama.

The Closing Of The Muslim Mind
There's a fascinating interview in the Daily Caller with Robert R. Reilly, the author of The Closing of the Muslim Mind: How Intellectual Suicide Created the Modern Islamist. A former director of Voice of America, he now serves as a senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council. Here's a taste:
1) Why did you write the book?
I was fascinated by Bernard Lewis’ book What Went Wrong, in which he chronicles the decline of the Muslim world. I wanted to find out why it went wrong. And, like most Americans, I was galvanized by 9/11 and wanted to search more deeply into the wellsprings of violence in Islam. Since 9/11, I was also working professionally in the area of the Middle East, most particularly on Iraq for the Defense Department.
After years of study and work, I concluded that the Islamism we see today is a spiritual pathology based on a deformed theology that has produced a dysfunctional culture. That is a lot to say in one sentence, but I take 200 pages to explain it. I trace the roots of Islamism back to an intellectual crisis in Islam in the ninth century.
2) What do you mean by your title, The Closing of the Muslim Mind? When did this closing begin?
By “closed,” I mean that access to reality has been blocked. I do not mean that the minds of every individual Muslim are closed, or that there are not varieties of Islam in which the Muslim mind is still open. I do mean that a large portion of mainstream Sunni Islam, the majority expression of the faith, has shut the door to reality in a profound way. Today, this can be seen in the highly dysfunctional character of the Arab world in particular.
The great twentieth-century Muslim scholar, the late Fazlur Rahman, said that, “A people that deprives itself of philosophy necessarily exposes itself to starvation in terms of fresh ideas — in fact, it commits intellectual suicide.”
This is the source of the subtitle of the book. In his Regensburg address, Benedict XVI said something similar. He spoke of dehellenization – meaning the loss of reason, the gift of the Greeks — as one of the West’s main problems. Less well-known is the dehellenization that has afflicted Islam — its denigration of and divorce from reason. (The pope alluded to this only briefly, though it became a source of major controversy.) The dehellenization of Islam is less well known because it was so thorough and effective that few are aware that there was a process of hellenization preceding it — especially during the ninth and tenth centuries. It was a pivotal period for Islam and the world. It was then, toward the end of this period, that the Muslim world took a decisive turn in the wrong direction.
There are two fundamental ways to close the mind. One is to deny reason’s capability of knowing anything. The other is to dismiss reality as unknowable. Reason cannot know, or there is nothing to be known. Either approach suffices in making reality irrelevant. In Sunni Islam, elements of both were employed in the dominant Ash’arite theological school. As a consequence, a fissure opened between man’s reason and reality — and, most importantly, between man’s reason and God. My book contends that the fatal disconnect between the Creator and the mind of his creature is the source of Sunni Islam’s most profound woes. This bifurcation, located not in the Qur’an but in early Islamic theology, ultimately led to the closing of the Muslim mind.
My book is an account of Sunni Islam’s intellectual suicide — in Fazlur Rahman’s meaning of the term — and the reasons for it. As I mentioned, the book attempts to relate not so much how it happened, but why it happened; what its devastating consequences have been, and how the Muslim mind might possibly be reopened (as suggested by Muslims themselves), an endeavor fraught with repercussions for the West, as well as for the Islamic world.
Recommended.

Another Round Of MidEast Peace Talks?
President Obama will host a dinner September 1 with the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, along with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Jordan's King Abdullah and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, representing the "Quartet" of key international players.
In case you're wondering, that essentially, that means you have Israel negotiating on one side and Obama, Tony Blair and the EU ,The Palestinians and the Arab league on the other.
This is all supposed to lead to a final settlement of all the outstanding issues and a peace agreement within one year. To get a sense of how unrealistic this is and how our State Department lives in a fantasy world let's see what deputy special envoy David Hale had to say about the interesting problem of how to construct a peaceful settlement without Hamas being involved:
The officials offered no clear answer on one central question: How to deal with Hamas, and its control over the Gaza Strip. Hale suggested that they would be pulled into an agreement by the sheer momentum of the talks.
The "forces of moderation and the forces of peace," Hale said, "will be greatly enhanced when they are able to point to an ongoing peace process and ultimately a peace treaty."
Yes, I can certainly see Hamas moderating its approach to Jews - not.
As for the Palestian Authority, they just named a town square in the town of Madama after a suicide bomber and child killer. Your tax dollars likely paid for it.
I see this as basically an attempt to provide a photo-op and some political wind in Obama's sagging sails. There's no upside for either party.
There's no deal that Abbas can accept that doesn't include a Jew-free Judea and Samaria, half of Jerusalem and the right to flood the rest of Israel with thousands of genocidal 'refugees'.
And Israel could not accept anything like those conditions and survive. Even if Netanyahu was silly enough to accept, he'd never get it past his own party, let alone the Israeli public. They've seen the results of too many of these 'land for peace' scams already.
'Moderate' Ground Zero Imam's Mask Is About To Be Torn Off
As you know, I went a lot of detail on the prospective Ground Zero Mosque, its imam, his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and Rauf and the mosque's questionable financing.
Now this information is about to be revealed to the general public in an explosive form by none other than terrorism expert Steve Emerson...
Steve Emerson has unearthed 13 hours of audio tape of Imam Rauf. Emerson and his team of investigators has spent the past four weeks going through the newly found material. Rauf is a “radical extremist cleric who cloaks himself in sheep’s clothing.”
Among the shocking revelations Emerson’s team will reveal next week — they found Rauf:
Defending wahhabism – a puritanical version of Islam that governs Saudi Arabia
Calling for the elimination of Israel by claiming a one-nation state, meaning no more Jewish State.
Defending Bin Laden’s violenceDemonstrating that there is a lot more to this man than merely a cleric.
The American public now sees the “deception perpetrated by all these Islamic groups that claim they are against violence and terrorism and insist that their rights be respected but in reality are fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood.”
Listen to Emerson here on Bill Bennett.
I especially like Emerson's slapping around of the dinosaur media....as he compares their courage in unmasking of the KKK with their bending over for radical Islam.
Imam Rauf is going to have some 'splainin' to do...and the American public is starting to wake up.
Mosque Commentary Rundown

NY Hardhats: "We Won't Build The Ground Zero Mosque"
There's apparently a major movement among New York City construction workers vowing not to work on the proposed Ground Zero Mosque:
"It's a very touchy thing because they want to do this on sacred ground," said Dave Kaiser, 38, a blaster who is working to rebuild the World Trade Center site.
"I wouldn't work there, especially after I found out about what the imam said about U.S. policy being responsible for 9/11," Kaiser said.
The grass-roots movement is gaining momentum on the Internet. One construction worker created the "Hard Hat Pledge" on his blog and asked others to vow not to work on the project if it stays on Park Place.
"Thousands of people are signing up from all over the country," said creator Andy Sullivan, a construction worker from Brooklyn. "People who sell glass, steel, lumber, insurance. They are all refusing to do work if they build there."
"Hopefully, this will be a tool to get them to move it," he said. "I got a problem with this ostentatious building looming over Ground Zero."
The unions themselves have yet to take a position on the Ground Zero Mosque.
"It's a very difficult dilemma for the contractors and the organized labor force because we are experiencing such high levels of unemployment," said Louis Coletti, president of the Building Trades Employers' Association. "Yet at the same time, this is a very sacred sight to the union guys."
"There were construction workers killed on 9/11 and many more who got horribly sick cleaning up Ground Zero," Coletti said. "It's very emotional."
You know who I want to hear from on this? The Teamsters.
Almost nothing gets built in New York City without their OK.
So what about it Teamsters? Are you up for letting these people put up a huge mosque overlooking Ground Zero?

The AP Flacks For The Ground Zero Mosque

Originally, the press, the Fourth Estate was said to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.Nowadays, when it comes to the dinosaur media, they mostly do exactly the opposite...th eLe3ftist agenda, you understand.
You can always depend on the Associated Press to provide good examples of this in action.
Here's a nifty little memo from Associated Press Deputy Managing Editor for Standards and Production Tom Kent to the troops on how to properly cover the Ground Zero Mosque:
Colleagues,
Here is some guidance on covering the NYC mosque story, with assists from Chad Roedemeier in the NYC bureau and Terry Hunt in Washington:
1. We should continue to avoid the phrase "ground zero mosque" or "mosque at ground zero" on all platforms. (We’ve very rarely used this wording, except in slugs, though we sometimes see other news sources using the term.) The site of the proposed Islamic center and mosque is not at ground zero, but two blocks away in a busy commercial area. We should continue to say it’s “near” ground zero, or two blocks away.
WE WILL CHANGE OUR SLUG ON THIS STORY LATER TODAY from “BC-Ground Zero Mosque” to “BC-NYC Mosque.”
In short headlines, some ways to refer to the project include:
_ mosque 2 blocks from WTC site
_ Muslim (or Islamic) center near WTC site
_ mosque near ground zero
_ mosque near WTC site
We can refer to the project as a mosque, or as a proposed Islamic center that includes a mosque.
It may be useful in some stories to note that Muslim prayer services have been held since 2009 in the building that the new project will replace. The proposal is to create a new, larger Islamic community center that would include a mosque, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium and other facilities.
2. Here is a succinct summary of President Obama’s position:
Obama has said he believes Muslims have the right to build an Islamic center in New York as a matter of religious freedom, though he's also said he won't take a position on whether they should actually build it.
For additional background, you’ll find below a Fact Check on the project that moved yesterday.
Tom
Oh, by the way, a little fact checking from me...the building in question, the Burlington Coat Factory is only 600 feet away from Ground Zero, and it was in fact party destroyed by the flying landing gear of one of the 9/11 hijacked planes, so yes, it is part of Ground Zero. That's exactly why the people behind the Ground Zero Mosque want to build there so very badly, and to put up a mosque that will tower above the proposed Ground Zero Monument.
And notice the cute lil' walk back on Obama's statements ....now, he has no position on the mosque all of a sudden !
Islamophobia?

The dinosaur media had one of its collective orgasms today, to the point where it's obvious that marching orders went out from the White House. The message? All you redneck, bitter clingers in flyover country hate Muslims and are a bunch of seething bigots. And for good measure, you're stoo-pid enough to think that President Obama is a Muslim, too!
Let us wade among the slime...
Time: Poll - Majority Opposes Mosque, Many Distrust Muslims. Related: Does America have A Muslim Problem?
Ben Smith at the Politico:"The rise in Americans who say they believe Barack Obama's a Muslim say more about many Americans' hostility toward Islam than it does about the rising hostility to Obama on the right, which is hardly news." and "Condemning the mosque, Gingrich echoed Mussolini."
Washington Post: "The number of Americans who believe -- wrongly -- that President Obama is a Muslim has increased significantly since his inauguration and now accounts for nearly 20 percent of the nation's population."
New York Times: 'In defining Obama , misperceptions stick.'
Maureen Dowd, New York TimesOur Mosque Madness -
Glenn Greenwald:Courage in the Face of Bigotry
The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg: 'the lunatic racist Pamela Geller, who has been leading the crusade against the so-called Ground Zero mosque.'
Media Matters: When does Fox News' ugly Muslim bashing become the story?
Gene Lyons, Salon: Who Will Stand Up to GOP's War on Islam?
There's a lot more, and as I said, it's obvious that the wires were heating up between the White House and its media allies.
Of course, they're correct. We're all nothing but a bunch of bigots. I recall to my shame the nationwide lynchings of Muslims after 9/11, the numerous mosques that were burned to the ground, the celebrations in the streets, the passing out of sweets in celebration after each atrocity...
Oh, wait. Come to think of it, the celebrations were happening in the Muslim world instead of in America, weren't they?
This is, as a certain president might say, a teachable moment.
There has never been a clearer example of the divide between the elitist Left (including our president) and the vast majority of Americans.
The Left accepts as a tenet of faith in its twisted creed that America is racist, a force for evil in the world and deserves, above all, to be punished for its supposed sins. In particular, they have an abiding dislike for the country's culture and traditions, particularly its Judeo-Christian roots.
Proof? Imagine that there was a huge church or synagogue planned for construction in the same area. How long do you think it would take the ACLU or the Center for Constitutional Rights to file suit? And what would the chorus of the Left be singing then?
Actually, we don't have to speculate. There was a small Greek Orthodox Church, St. Nicholas at Ground Zero located directly in front of the second tower at 155 Cedar Street. It was heavily damaged in the attack, and the church was promised a site to rebuild at 130 Liberty Street, about 100 yards away.
Unlike the Ground Zero Mosque, that rebuilding has been stalled by legal roadblocks and by New York City officialdom for years and was finally rejected by the city.
Some animals are apparently more equal than others, to paraphrase Orwell.
Americans are an incredibly decent and tolerant people, by and large. Even those who harbor prejudice generally would not support institutionalizing it in our laws. And they have proven themselves more than willing to be tolerant of Islam. But as time goes by, more and more of them are realizing that there is a serious disconnect between that tolerance and America's traditional values and the ones espoused by Islam - particularly the Saudi-funded wahabi version being imported into our country by, among others, Imam Rauf, who favors establishing sharia as the law of the land.
The simple minded flacks for the Ruling Class don't get it, because they've scripted this as a simple tale of redneck knuckle draggers hating the Other. And therein lies a vicious trap they've set for themselves.
Ever since 9/11, two currents have been running neck and neck when it comes to the media's take on Islam: the constant drumbeat, continuously echoed in the Main Stream Media that Islam is a Religion of Peace and the equally well reported and awful reality that based on the violence performed expressly in its name, it isn't anything of the kind.
There's more than a bit of cognitive dissonance at work here, because the two scripts directly contradict each other.
Our president of course is caught in the same mental bear trap, since he shares the essential disdain for America and American values with the Left. Which is why he continues to dance on one side of the issue, and then another....and then wonders why most of his fellow citizens view him with distrust and disdain.

The New National Republican Senate Committee Ad - Nice One!
The elitist Left and the Obama Regime hold the vast majority of Americans in contempt, and, to quote a certain Chicago Reverend, the chickens are coming home to roost.
Ground Zero Mosque Backers Admit They Will Use Foreign Funds To Build
According to Ground Zero Mosque spokeshole Oz Sultan they ' won't rule out accepting financing from the Mideast, including from Saudi Arabia and Iran' to build the $100 million dollar project that is a mere 600 feet from ground Zero and will tower over the proposed monument to 9/11.
Imam Rauf has already admitted in the London Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat that a large chunk of the estimated $100 million construction cost will also come from Islamic countries, in spite of the taqiya he's been spreading here.
In fact, he's overseas right now on the State Department's payroll raising those funds.
Another clue to where the funding is going to ultimately come from is Sharif El-Gamal, the "developer" from Soho Properties, who was a waiter at the Sarafina Restaurant in New York City just a short time ago and later an apartment rental agent who worked part time on commission only…yet somehow managed to save up $5 million for the purchase.
Of course, it's a mere coincidence that El-Gamal’s partner, Nour Mousa, just happens to be the nephew of the Arab League leader Amr Moussa. When the Mob does this, they call it ‘conduit financing.’
And then there's Rauf's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and people like the Xenel Corporation, a Saudi company who now funds Rauf's ASMA organization and the proposed mosque - and have ties to al-Qaeda that caused the company to lose a major contract with the City of Orlando Florida once those ties came to light.
It's not an exaggeration to say that the Ground Zero Mosque is being funded by some of the same people that funded the 9/11 attacks.

Weekend Monkey On Politics: The Mosquerade Party

Hidey Ho, Primates! Welcome to the one and only Real Banana, your source for the real poop on politics.
Let's do it and get to it..
I gotta give Obama credit. He's got a unique talent. One that could screw up a wet dream and turn it into a negative approval rating.
Let's take a good look at the current sit, OK ? The economy is in the dumpster, the primates are livid about the costs associated with the Health Care bill and the constant bail outs (and just wait until they see their taxes next year..eeech!), and they're upset over the Gulf Oil spill and Obama's suing Arizona over that illegal immigration law. Obama's poll numbers are tanking, hovering around 41% with disapproval in the low to mid 50's. Incumbents even in true Blue states like California, Wisconsin,Illinois and Washington are facing the fight of their lives as my Democrats could end up losing the House and the Senate in a regular ReThug tsunami.
And with all that going on,Obama stands up in front of a buncha Muslims at an Iftar thingee at the White House and yaks it up about his support for a huge new mosque.Six hundred feet away from Ground Zero. With the polls of most Americans running 70-30 against.
And the comedy doesn't end there. The next day, after his advisers start screaming like mandrills and threatening to slit their wrists,Obama tries to pick up the poop he hurled and pretend it never happened!
Freakin' brilliant, no? Obama comes out for the mosque, making the 9/11 families and the swing voters berserk and giving very yahoo ReThug running for Congress another built in issue, as though things weren't bad enough already. Then he tries to walk it back, getting his buddies in the press and on the left wing of the party ticked off at him for trying to vote present on this.
Worst of all, the party's split when we most needed unity because you just ended our usual Democrat Masquerade and turned it into a mosquerade party. The masks weren't supposed to come off until after November.
Riddle me this, Genius: How exactly are Democratic candidates gonna pose as fiscally responsible, strong on national defense or even civil rights friendly now that your antics have forced people to take sides on stuff like this?
Who cares whether some Muslims build a mosque. It was already on fire, so you throw gasoline on it?
When even low hanging bananas like Harry Reid and Howard Dean are desperately jumping ship over this mosque thing, doesn't that tell you something?
Yowza! Way to go, O! You've been as good for us Democrats as Bush was for the ReThugs, I'll tell you that.
Obama's performance reminds me of something my old pal Donna Brazile said once describing RNC head Rethug Michael Steele...just an affirmative action hiring that went bad.
Anyone else wish Hillary had gotten the nod from the party apparatchniks instead of Obama?
Later, primates!

Must See: Mama Grizzley Rips Dem Senator A New One Over ObamaCare
Wow!
On the receiving end, a particularly insipid Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC). And doling it out, an angry parent who realizes exactly what ObamaCare is going to mean to her and her kids. And listen to the response from the crowd...
After 4 minutes of lies and evasions, Hagen simply moves on to someone else.
These venal, out of touch politicians have no clue as to what they've awakened. Hagen is lucky she slithered into DC in the Obama wave of 2008. I doubt she'd get re-elected if she were running today.

Duncan Hunter's War Hero Son Is Running For Re-Election To Congress

That would be Duncan D. Hunter, who won the seat in California's 52nd District while on active duty fighting for his country in Iraq.
And yes, he looks, talks and thinks a great deal like younger version of his old man.
He's exactly the sort of Reagan conservative we need in Congress. Send him some shekels and love at the above link.
Pelosi: “Investigate Who's Funding Ground Zero Mosque Opponents"
You can always count on San Fran Nan to do exactly the wrong thing.
This arrogant elitist wouldn't hear of investigating the murky, overseas funding for the Ground Zero Mosque or about Sharif El-Gamal, the "developer" from Soho Properties, who was a waiter at the Sarafina Restaurant in New York City just a short time ago and later an apartment rental agent who worked part time on commission only…yet somehow managed to save up $5 million for the purchase.
Or El-Gamal’s partner, Nour Mousa, just coincidentally happens to be the nephew of the Arab League leader Amr Moussa. When the Mob does this, they call it ‘conduit financing.’
Or Imam Rauf's interesting connection to the Saudi-based Xenel Corporation, whichhas ties to the Muslim Brotherhood an al-Qaeda.
Nuh-uh!
She wants to investigate millions of ordinary Americans who oppose what amounts to a victory symbol placed 600 feet away Ground Zero...one that will tower over the planned monument at the site.
As though 'funding' was needed to take a position that simple patriotism and human decency ought to mandate.
Staggering.Simply staggering.

Sharron Angle Catches Harry Reid In Nevada Senate Race Polls
After amateurishly blowing an 11% lead right after the primary, Nevada Senate Republican candidate Sharron Angle has come back in a big way to a tie with Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid as the race heads into its last six weeks. The survey of likely voters in Nevada shows both candidates with 47% of the vote each.
When you count leaners (people who initially indicate no preference for either of the candidates but answer a follow-up question and say they are leaning towards a particular candidate) Angle's numbers go up to 50% versus 48% for Reid.
Where neither candidate is viewed favorably ( and both have high negatives, Reid because of his embrace f the Obama agenda and Angle because of millions in negative ads run by Reid before she got her act together)the numbers on the actual issues like ObamaCare and tax cuts strongly favor Angle, which signifies that even people who don't particularly care for her will likely hold their noses and vote fo rher come November.
And even more interesting, not only do Rasmussen's numbers show swelling support for angle, she just picked up an important endorsement.
Sarah Palin has reportedly endorsed her.
“She’s got GUTS and is putting up with more crap than she deserves because the libs don’t know what to do with her and the support she has,” Palin said in a e-mail.
Aside from the idea of booting the despicable Harry Reid out of the Senate, I find Sharron Angle refreshingly honest and personable, even if I don't agree with her on everything. I'd love to see her in the Senate, especially given the alternative.
The majority of Nevadans simply hate Harry Reid. This has gone from a loss to a close but salvageable pickup for the GOP.
