Conservative commentator and ex-White House press secretary Tony Snow passed away yesterday at Georgetown University Hospital after losing a battle with cancer. He was 53. He left behind a wife and three young children.
Snow left behind a lucrative career at Fox as a broadcaster and commentator to step into public service at a time when the Bush Administration was under siege by the press, and he brought to the job a uniquely articulate and bantering style that was unique. He left us far too soon.
It's perhaps fitting that the occasion of Tony Snow's death provides a measure of exactly how low the
Angry Left has sunk in their political discourse.
