Justice in New York doesn't exist anymore, that's a fact.
Jordan Burnette, 29 engineered a hateful one man war against Jewish synagogues, Jewish businesses, and a Jewish community center in the Bronx. Since he broke glass in several burglaries, one judge in the Bronx courts went rebel.Bronx Criminal Court Judge Louis Nock ordered a $20,000 bail after
the jurist reviewed the state’s bail reform laws and determined that
monetary bond was legal in the case.
Guess what? Another Bronx jurist, Tara Collins, reversed this and ordered Burnette released without bail. Burnette was hit with 42 charges, including burglary as a hate crime and criminal trespass as a hate crime for attacks on synagogues and a Jewish community center during which he smashed windows, vandalized the buildings and doused religious books in hand sanitizer.
“This is not a crime for which we can ask for bail, as the law exists
and the Legislature oversees it,” argued Assistant District Attorney
Theresa Gottlieb before the case was called a second time. “The
Legislature did not in fact include hate crimes under bail-eligible
offenses. "Given the number of attacks, we probably would have asked for substantial bail before January of 2020."
She's right, hate crimes aren't bail eligible in New York....especially if Jews are the targets.
"Bail reform" laws in New York, California,, and a few other
states allows the release of suspects on personal recognizance — that is,
without putting up any money to guarantee they'll even show up in court
for prosecution on the crimes of which they have been accused. In
Burnette's case, he was arrested while riding a bicycle stolen from one
of the vandalized synagogues, and there is surveillance tape of him
committing some of the vandalism.
Here's a list of the felonies you can walk out of court scott free in New York. I guarantee you won't believe it. Keep in mind that a released felon can threaten his accuser to drop the charges or else, intimidate witnesses to say they didn't see anything, even bribe witnesses in their favor or of course, simply leave town.
New York, slowly but surely is becoming a lawless place to live...especially for Jews.Hardly a week passes without Jews being assaulted or mugged on the streets.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)passed a resolution last week that nullified all Jewish and Christian ties and connections to the Western Wall (The Kotel) The Temple Mount, The Ma'Harat Machpelah (The Cave Of The Patriarchs, where Avraham and Sarah are buried) as well as Rachel's Tomb and other holy sites revered by Jews the world over for centuries.
The resolution not only erased any Judeo-Christian connection to these sites, but referred to them by their Muslim names, usually derived from the names of mosques that were built over them or near them centuries later during the brief Arab conquest. Here's how ridiculous this sounds:
This abomination also referred to all of East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as 'occupied Jerusalem' and Israel as the 'occupying power.' It also 'deeply condemned' Israeli 'aggressions and illegal measures against the Awqaf Department and its personnel, and against the freedom of worship.'
'Aggressions?' 'Freedom of Worship?' You mean like this?
In spite of what the caption says, those stones are also used to target Jews worshiping below at the Kotel. This is how the Israelis are rewarded for doing something they had no imperative to do other than trying to seek peace by sharing these holy sites with the Muslims. So it's freedom of worship, all right. For Muslims and only Muslims.
Yes, believe it or not, after the massacres that drove the Jews out of Hebron, after the Arab attempt to commit genocide in 1948, after the 19 year occupation by Jordan that denied Jews any access to this holy place, one of the first thing the Israelis did was to attempt to share these shrines and the Cave of The Patriarchs shrine with the Muslim Arabs whom call themselves 'Palestinians', and who likewise claim Abraham as a father.
UNESCO has along history of anti-Israel rulings and activities. After they crossed a final red line by breaking their own rules and allowing a non-existent country named 'Palestine' to join as a full member, the U.S. and several other countries cut funding for the agency, which President Barack Hussein Obama restored after his 2012 re-election.
Voting in favor were: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chad, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan and Vietnam.
Voting against were: Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States
Abstaining were: Albania, Argentina, Cameroon, El Salvador, France, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Haiti, India, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, Paraguay, Saint Vincent and Nevis, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda and Ukraine.
Even the head of UNESCO, Irina Bokova received death threats after publicly criticizing this resolution. As we know by now, that's how Islam plays the game. Not only doesn't Islam not play well with others, they want the others entirely out of the playground...or else.
First, the Israelis not only aren't going to comply with this, but it underlines for them the futility of any kind of negotiated settlement. Area A of Judea and Samaria is entirely under Arab control and so is Gaza, without a single Jew being present in either place.And the Israelis have bent over backwards to be fair in allowing Muslim access to these sites. But if Israel is still being referred to as 'the occupying power' by the UN at this point, why should believe that any concessions they make are going to change that no matter how much land they give up? Why bother?
The truth is that the entire 'occupation' label is pure fiction because no such country as 'Palestine' ever existed and it had no sovereignty as a state over anything, not in 1922, not in 1948, not in 1967, never. No other country would be considered an occupying power in the circumstances except Israel, the Jew among nations. But if the notion of perpetual 'occupation' is so deeply ingrained that the UN continues to abuse it, why would Israelis expect it to ever disappear no matter how much land for 'peace' they give up?
So this is merely yet another attempt to try and legitimize this nonsense in what passes for 'international law' in certain quarters. At least in Turtle Bay.
Second, this is just a run up to a coming UN Security resolution regarding not just the erasing of Judeo-Christian ties to the holy sites but all of Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. Those areas are now to be Judenrein and ceded to Islam and 'Palestine.'
In deference to President Obama and Secretary John Kerry who have been involved in the planning stages, this one will come after the 2016 elections no matter who wins, during Obama's lame duck period, a parting shot at Israel.
The United States voted against the UNESCO resolution because it's election time. But Obama will see to it that the US votes for or abstains from vetoing the second one, which will make the UNESCO one moot anyway. If Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem are to be ethnically cleansed of 500,000 Jews who have lived there for decades, Jews wont have any access to their holy sites anyway.
No sovereign nation would put up with this and Israel won't either. But it will legitimize the idea of Israeli 'occupation' and help to further distance Israel from the U.S. if Mrs. Clinton is the president.
Personally, if I were Netanyahu I would inform Secretary Kerry that if the United States abrogates Oslo and the Road Map in this way, Israel will no longer be bound by those agreements either and will feel free to resolve this situation unilaterally in a way of its own choosing.
In the end, that's what going to happen anyway. Facts on the ground will always trump the bigoted nonsense coming from the UN. Any ethical or moral authority it once had left a long time ago.
The Metropolitan Opera has an interesting choice in its repertoire for this year's season.
It's the debut of its production of John Adams’s The Death of Klinghoffer on October 20, just under a month from now. The opera is fairly controversial, because of the way it treats the victim of a heartless atrocity and the terrorists who committed it.
Leon Klinghoffer was a 69-year-old American Jew who was a decorated American World War II veteran, wheelchair bound and was taking a cruise in 1985 with his wife and 11 friends to celebrate his 36th wedding anniversary on the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro.
The ship was hijacked by Palestinian terrorists from Black September, and Klinghoffer was taken aside and shot to death, murdered on the direct orders of Yasser Arafat. His body and his wheel chair were then thrown into the sea. He was no physical threat to the terrorists and was murdered simply because he was a Jew.
An opera based on these events was composed by John Adams with the libretto written by apostate Jew Alice Goodman, a convert from Judaism who's now Anglican.
The opera was apparently designed to 'equivocate' the Arab terrorists and their victim morally and show the 'humanity' of both sides. The very title, using the word 'death' rather than 'murder' is a good indication of where this opera stands.
Needless to say, given the expansive growth of Jew hatred, including the recent beheading of a Jewish journalist by Islamic State, this drew some major flak, to the point that last June the Met cancelled a gala worldwide HD broadcast of this performance scheduled to stream to theaters and on radio.
But they are still putting on the opera.
Actually, the opera itself doesn't merely 'morally equivocate' an old, harmless Jew in a wheel chair and his murderers. It comes down squarely on the side of the Arab terrorists.
It openly refers to the Israelis as the new Nazis. The opening scene shows graffiti on a wall, “Warsaw 1943, Bethlehem 2005,” while Jews wearing kippot are shown planting trees and building on 'plundered Arab territory'. The Palestinian chorus sings, “My father’s house was razed in 1948 when the Israelis passed over our street.” The Palestinians sing, “We are soldiers fighting a war. We are not criminals and we are not vandals but men of ideals.”
Yes, brave soldiers fighting one unarmed 69-year old Jew in a wheel chair. How heroic!
And the rest of the libretto is riddled with typically anti-semitic stereotypes and slurs. At one point, the principal terrorist says, “Wherever poor men are gathered, they can find Jews getting fat. You know how to cheat the simple, exploit the virgin, pollute where you have exploited, defame those you cheated, and break your own law with idolatry.” Later, he yells at Klinghoffer, “America is one big Jew.”
That of course reveals the truth of the relationship between a crippled American Jew and Palestinian hatred. It has never been about Israel per se, but about the Jews. All Jews, where ever they are, no matter how Left-leaning and 'anti-Zionist' they are, not matter how self-degrading.
And the music itself deliberately underlines the superiority of the viewpoint of Arabs as freedom fighters and victims. The Palestinian choruses are strong, virile and filled with emotion, especially as the opera progresses and more of their grievances against Jews are revealed and explored in the opera and the libretto. The Jewish choruses and lyrics are flabby and vague..exactly the way Adams wanted the two sides portrayed.
It is the Palestinian who are shown throughout the opera as heroic with justifiable anger while the Jews are shown as money grubbing and exploitative, always in an unfavorable light. What the music and the libretto both underline in a particularly sick way is that Leon Klinghoffer's murder was justified, because his death was a sacrifice for the 'crimes' of his fellow Jews.
Needless to say, both the Met and the New York Times are beating the drum of 'artistic freedom' to justify putting this propaganda - because that's exactly what it is - on stage. The Times in particular praised Met general manager Peter Gelb for being “true to its artistic mission.”
Now I wonder...what would happen to a composer who wrote an opera about KKK members in the South during the Reconstruction lynching a negro who was a tool for their carpetbagger oppressors and attempted the same sort of 'artistic statement' that John Adams and Alice Goodman put together, showing moral equivalence of murderers and victim? Would the Met stage that opera? And would the New York Times laud it as 'artistic freedom'? Would the composer ever get another commission to compose anything? I think we know the answers to those questions.
Does the Met have the right to put on this anti-semitic work in a mainstream cultural arena that justifies violence against Jews? Of course they do. Did John Adams have the right to compose it? Of course he did. Was a it a moral and decent thing to do? Are they being sympathetic and respectful of the feelings of the Klinghoffer's children? Do they bear some responsibility for violence done to Jews as a result of what amount to a justification for it.
Absolutely. And no amount of rationalizing about 'artistic freedom; cleanses that guilt, before G-d or man. To even try to do so is to reveal oneself as morally dead.

A number of British Jews continue to wonder at the rise in Jew hatred in the UK. I can't imagine why. After all, there's a great deal of truth in that old saying that a fish rots from the head.
Israel buys a few components to defend itself from the likes of Hamas from the UK..a few parts used in the Hermes drones, a few parts used in radar systems and pilot ejector seats on Israel's planes. . There are about 12 arms export licenses involved, something like $70 million (£42 million) in exports involved since 2010, so it's small..
Today, British Business Secretary Vince Cable announced that Great Britain will void all 12 export licenses if hostilities with Hamas resume, whether Hamas is the aggressor or not.Essentially, the UK has picked sides in the war and is protecting Hamas, which the European Union (EU)of which the UK is a member includes on its list of terrorist groups.
And it's not just the Conservatives. UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg
of the Liberal Democrats, the Conservative Party's coalition partners made a
statement last Tuesday supporting the suspension of all arms exports to Israel.
David Cameron traveled to Israel last March in the midst of Hamas bombarding Israel to try to strengthen commercial ties with Israel in an attempt to revitalize Britain's economy, particularly in the high tech sector and was accompanied by a number of business men. While he was there he said this:
“Let me absolutely clear about these attacks from Gaza, we condemn them completely,” Cameron said. “They are a reminder once again of the importance of maintaining and securing Israel’s future and the security threats you face, and you have Britain’s support in facing those security threats.”
He also said that “these attacks are completely indiscriminate, aimed at civilian populations and that is a demonstration of how barbaric they are.
We now see what that 'support' is worth - like Cameron's word, absolutely nothing. And British Jews with eyes to see also now know exactly why the Jew hatred and Israel bashing in Britain is so endemic.
The UK supports the genocidal Hamas. It's that simple.And this pathetic attempt at blackmail of Israel proves it
The components Britain is attempting to blackmail Israel with are easily obtainable elsewhere. But Britain's honor? Gone beyond redemption.
The man who attacked the Jewish Community Center and an adjacent assisted living center in Overland Park Kansas is in custody.
Frazier Glenn Cross was arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail this evening. He's a 73-year-old southwest Missouri man with a long history of anti-Semitic and racist statements.
Smith opened fire at the center and at a nearby Jewish retirement home, shouting "Heil Hitler!" as he was arrested. He shot and killed three people with a shotgun and a handgun, and wounded at least five, one of whom, s 15 -year-old boy is still listed in critical condition.
Two of the murder victims Sunday were 14-year-old Reat Griffin Underwood and his grandfather, William Lewis Corporon. Neither, ironically, was Jewish but were members of United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in nearby Leawood.The third murder victim was an elderly Jewish woman who lived in the assisted living facility. Her name hasn't been released yet. Reat Griffin Underwood and William Lewis Corporon were shot without warning while in their car in the parking lot of the Jewish Community Center, and had come there with hundreds of high school singers from across the Kansas City metro area to audition for the KC SuperStar contest. Also, actors were rehearsing for a production of “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
Nine children, and their parents along with about 10 volunteers were also at the Jewish Community Center for a weekly program for children on the autism spectrum called “Fun and Fitness with Friends.”
The entire Community center was packed with children, parents and other volunteers helping in the programs. It is simply G-d's mercy that the death toll wasn't higher.
The Pastor of the Underwood's church, the Rev. Adam Hamilton shared the news with the congregation at today's Palm Sunday Services.The lights were lowered as Hamilton asked members to pray for the family.
“Help us, oh, Lord to grieve as people of hope,” Hamilton said.
An interfaith service was held at 8 p.m. local time at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in conjunction with Temple Israel of Greater Kansas City.
“Our hearts go out to the families who have suffered loss on this tragic day,” the Jewish Community Center said in a statement. “Our heartfelt gratitude as well to all those in Kansas City and around the world who have expressed sympathy, concern and support.”
Who was Frazier Glenn Cross? Cross, who lives in Aurora, Mo., a small town in Lawrence County, Missouri also used the name Frazier Glenn Miller.
Frazier Glenn Miller/Cross has a long history of anti-Semitic and anti-black activity. In the 1980's he formed the White Patriot Party, an offshoot of a local Ku Klux Klan chapter.
The WPP dissolved when Miller/Cross was arrested in 1987 along with three other members. He got off with a three year sentence for weapons violations and other crimes by turning rat and testifying against his companions, as well as another similar cell in Arkansas.
In 2002 he moved to Aurora, Missouri where he became involved with Alex Linder's National Socialist Vanguard News Network, and became something of a perennial candidate for public office.
In 2010, ran as an informal write-in candidate for the U.S. Senate from Missouri against Roy Blunt and attempted to buy air time on several Missouri radio stations, with ads denouncing Jews, blacks and the federal government.
Normally, political ads are considered free speech and stations are required to run them provided they meet FCC guidelines. But Miller/Cross's ads were so violent and bigoted that the Missouri Broadcasters Association asked the FCC for permission not to run them, which was only granted when the FCC ruled Miller wasn’t a bona fide candidate, since he hadn't actually filed the required paperwork.
There are monsters among us, and he was definitely one of them.
The enlightened country of Denmark has banned Muslim Halal and Jewish Kosher slaughtering, also known as shechita.
Denmark's Agriculture and Food Minister Dan Jørgensen signed a regulation at the end of last week banning both religious slaughter of animals for the production of halal and kosher meat.
Ironically, there isn't a single Kosher slaughterhouse in Denmark, so apparently they mean to even prohibit importing Kosher meat from outside the country.
The change to the law has been called “anti-Semitism” by Jewish leaders and “a clear interference in religious freedom” by the non-profit group Danish Halal.
EU regulations require animals to be stunned before they are slaughtered, but grants exemptions on religious grounds. For meat to be considered kosher under Jewish law or halal under Islamic law, the animal must be conscious when killed.
Yet defending his government’s decision to remove this exemption, the minister for agriculture and food Dan Jørgensen told Denmark’s TV2 that “animal rights come before religion”.
In Denmark and several other European countries, there are a lot of things that apparently come even before animal rights.
Sex for profit, for example. Not only is bestiality (or, to use the term its proponents prefer 'zoophelia') perfectly legal, but so is animal prostitution, something I first wrote about back in 2006.
On the Internet, Danish animal owners advertise openly that they have sex with animals for sale, and it's perfectly legal, so there's no intervention from police or other authorities, Danish newspaper 24timer reports.
In interviewing the animal owners, the newspaper was told that the animals involved have many years of experience and that the animals themselves wanted sex. The cost to the client varied from DKK 500-1,000 (about $85-$170 American).
What I want to know is, who asked the animals if they wanted sex with humans? And did the animals talk back in Danish?
Nothing has changed and yes, sex tourism is a big business in Denmark, particularly from those countries like Norway where bestiality used to be legal but was just banned late last year. Apparently allowing animals to be raped repeatedly for fun and profit doesn't qualify as cruelty or a violation of 'animal rights'. At least in Denmark.
Needless to say, since I found this out I don't eat anything made in Denmark. There's no telling where it's been or what prior use any animal involved was put to, if you take my meaning.
And for those of you PETA activists out there, Denmark is also one of the top three countries in trapping, farming and processing minks for those coats you love to hate.
Of course, 'animal rights' don't really count either if they get in the way of soulless bureaucratic statist philosophy. A perfectly healthy young giraffe named Marius was recently shot to death in Denmark using a bolt gun, slaughtered publicly in the Copenhagen zoo and fed to lions in front of a group of schoolchildren because- wait for it- his genes were too well represented in the existing giraffe population, so he was 'surplus'. Even though there were two other zoos willing to take him and one private benefactor put up almost a million U.S. dollars to buy him, the zoo authorities decided to shoot him and turn him into lion food anyway.
In light of this, how cruel is Kosher slaughtering? In fact, it's actually more humane than the usual methods, stunning or electric shock.
Shechita mandates a razor sharp knife, and in fact a schochet, a Jewish ritual slaughterer, is required to check it at frequent intervals and discard the knife if there is a nick or burr which might preclude a clean, swift passage of the knife in severing the trachea and the esophagus in accordance with Jewish Law. The Law also requires that none of the following occurs,specifically to make sure the animal suffers very little pain and dies almost instantaneously, usually in about 20 seconds or so:(a) hesitation or delay while drawing the knife, (b) excessive pressure or chopping, (c) burrowing the knife between the trachea and the esophagus or under the skin, (d) making the incision outside the specified area, and (e) laceration or tearing of the trachea or esophagus from a nicked, dull or otherwise flawed blade. After the animal is killed, its internal organs are examined to make sure it is healthy and had no disease or imperfection, one reason why you never hear of Mad Cow disease or salmonella when it comes to kosher meat and poultry. An animal improperly slaughtered is not kosher, and because of the desire to avoid unnecessary pain to an animal, Jewish Law also forbids observant Jews to hunt unless it is to save human life.
On the other hand stunning and electric shock can cause considerable pain to an animal. Both can involve intense torment for an animal for anywhere from one to two minutes, even longer if a heart attack or seizure results. Such events are not infrequent.
There's really no mistaking what this actually is. Denmark has changed quite a bit from the country that risked everything to save their Jewish population and smuggle them to Sweden in what amounted to an almost national conspiracy after the Nazis occupied the country.
As President of the European Jewish Congress, Dr Moshe Kantor, remarked: "This attack on basic Jewish religious practice in Denmark puts into question the continuance of community life in the country and follows strongly on the heels of persistent attacks on Jewish circumcision."
Denmark will likely follow Norway's example and quiet its restive Muslim population by amending its law to allow halal slaughtering but ban kosher slaughtering.In fact, that change is already being discussed.
The new law also follows strongly on the heels of a number of diplomatic rifts between Denmark and Israel regarding the Danish Left wing government's love affair with those Arabs whom identify themselves as Palestinians and its support for the BDS movement.
The country's foreign ministry both directly and through its international development agency Danida provides significant funding to some of the most anti-Israel NGOs. DanChurchAid, which receives tens of millions of dollars annually from the Danish government, supports and partners with active participants in the BDS campaign against Israel.And Denmark’s biggest bank, Danske Bank, announcing earlier this week that it would no longer do business with Israel’s biggest bank, Bank Hapoalim as well as other Israeli banks because they have branches in Judea and Samaria and actually allow Jews to have accounts and do business there.
Denmark also recently upgraded its diplomatic relations with the as yet non-country of 'Palestine' to full embassy status, and when Mogens Lykketoft, Speaker of the Danish parliament came on a visit to the region earlier this month, he made a point of visiting Mahmoud Abbas, the unelected head of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah and Gaza, the home of the genocidal Hamas, but claimed he couldn't manage to work Israel into his visit because of 'scheduling conflicts'.
Now there's a statement about human rights and democratic values for you! Obviously Lykketoft cares a lot more about pleasing those of his voters in Denmark who identify with the Palestinians than human rights or democracy.
With all of this, the Danish government is also sending a message to its Jews that echos the Bad Old Days:
It translates to English as "Jews Unwelcome Here."
They all feature of group of teenagers playing a version of the 'knockout game' popular with certain segments of black youths directed at Jews in the area, many of whom wear traditional clothing and are thus easily targeted:
Some of the assaults may be part of a disturbing game, CBS 2’s John Slattery reported on Tuesday.
Police have yet to connect all the incidents, but released surveillance video that shows one group attacking a Jewish man. The video shows from a few different angles the victim, a man in a hooded jacket, getting punched.
One man who didn’t want to be identified told Slattery his 12-year-old son was attacked in the same way.
“It’s clearly anti-Semitism,” the man said.
The 64-year-old said his son, who was dressed in traditional Jewish clothing, was attacked last Wednesday afternoon on President Street.
“One, full strength with his fist, whacked him, punched him, on the side of the face, full force,” the man said.
The child went to the ground as he heard the group of five to six teens yell out.
“A hysterical, happy shout, ‘We got him,’” the man said.
Video also shows a 19-year-old Jewish man being sucker-punched.
“He was actually holding an expensive camera. And they punched him and nothing was stolen,” Rabbi Yaacov Behrman said.
Brooklyn Assemblyman Dov Hikind said the attacks are not muggings. It’s not about money. He said the victims are being attacked because they are Jews.
Behrman said he believes the assaults are part of a disturbing game by some African-American teens.
“And they’re playing a game: ‘knockout.’ ‘Knock out the Jew,’ maybe. And they’re going around the neighborhood punching Jews,” Behrman said.{...}
“I think there have been a total of eight since September, middle of September,” Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said, referring to the total number of incidents.
Which De Blasio the incoming mayor, Kennedy will be on his way out and New York will revert to the sort of 'law enforcement' it had during the Dinkins era, something a lot of Crown Heights residents whom were there at the time may remember quite vividly.
I recommend the local Jews form their own street patrols to protect themselves, because once De Blasio gets in the City won't.
