A Few Words On Prince Phillip

Britain's royal family said farewell to Prince Phillip, Queen Elizabeth II's husband of 73 years, who died last week, a few months short of his 100th birthday.

We all recall the wedding-disaster of Harry and Meagan.  The vulgar Black minister encouraging the couple to engage in erotic-activities. The Black choir noisily bouncing off the venerable walls. A time and place for everything. The funeral was a much classier event. I was in London a few years ago. I marveled at the castles and Churches! It dawned on me then, as it does now. The chorus is singing. The melody familiar and profoundly-beautiful to my Western-civilization sensibilities. 

 

Uh oh...just as I typed this I hear them break into a more modern dissonance tune. An affront to my ears! God, spare me! So far the only misstep. Glancing about the venue, I realize it is not the Kings and Queens who make a country great. It is the Artists. Those who pass the test of time. When looking at all the impressive tombs of Kings and Queen, my great regard was for the craftsmen. I wondered if my Literary Hero, Oscar Wilde was represented. One of the ushers bid me look up. There shining through the stained glass was the great man! The State condemned him to a year of hard labor for the crime of being Gay. There is a longer story concerning Royals you may wish to explore. Regardless. My point is to celebrate Prince Philip's illustrious life.  

 

Prince Phillip was a member of both the Greek  and Danish royal families.He was born in Greece, but his family was exiled from the country when he was eighteen months old.After being educated in France, Germany and Great Britain, he joined the Royal Navy  in 1939, at age 18. From July 1939, he began corresponding with the thirteen-year-old Princess Elizabeth, whom he had first met in 1934. During WWII he served with distinction in the British Mediterranean and Pacific  fleets.

 

When WWII ended, Phillip was given permission by King George VI to marry Elizabeth. After their engagement was announced,  July 1947, he abandoned his Greek and Danish titles and became a naturalized BritishSubject.

 

Prince Phillip went over well with the British public because he was known for always being straight foward and speaking his mind openly, although It got him into trouble a few times with the British press!

 

A moment of silence was observed across the United Kingdom at 3 p.m., Saturday, its beginning and end marked by a gun fired by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery. The final shot signaled the start of a funeral service.

The Duke of Edinburgh, the longest-serving consort of any British monarch, was buried in a service attended by only 30 people who maintained social distancing in accordance with the country's COVID-19 regulations.

His was not a state funeral, as Philip was not a monarch. Instead, it was  a ceremonial funeral akin to the burial of the queen mother in 2002. The service lasted less than an hour.

Philip's coffin was draped with his personal standard, topped with his Admiral of the Fleet Naval Cap and a sword given to him by his father-in-law, King George VI, on the occasion of his marriage to the queen in 1947.

 

The Duke of Edinburgh was entombed in Royal Vault. The queen and Philip are expected to be buried together in the Royal Burial Ground on the Frogmore Estate close to Windsor Castle.

 

When the Queen joins him the Monarchy may fall. It's not certain those of the Royal Family who remain will be able to uphold the Kingdom.

An Open Letter To Britain And The British People,

Awhile ago I wrote an article with a similar title that got a certain amount of circulation. Consider this a post Brexit  update, because there's a lot that hasn't changed. Even worse, the disease is beginning to effect America.

 I write this with mixed feelings. While I have a number of British friends and acquaintances, I’m afraid I have little respect left as a whole for what Britain has become today.

What inspired this update was something Katie Hopkins wrote recently that is well worth reading. It's about this little 7 year old, Emily Jones:



 This adorable child was enjoying a sunny spring day with her family at Queen’s Park in Heaton, Bolton on March 22 when a 30-year-old Somali woman sitting on a bench near by stabbed the girl in the neck for no reason at all in front of her family. Emily was rushed to a nearby hospital but  died shortly afterwards.

 As Police officer Rebecca Gardner told the court, ‘Emily was on her scooter playing. As she rode past a wooden bench, a female sat on the bench and suddenly attacked Emily, stabbing her in the neck, causing catastrophic injury.’

Her killer was an illegal migrant who was allowed into the UK for goodness knows why. It's known that the police have admitted they were aware of her, had her 'on our radar.' So why didn't they do something about it?  Why?Because that's how it is in the UK nowadays. The killer's  identity is being hidden by the powers that be and  the media of course is  burying the story and of course the details about her murderer,  allowing her to hide behind her race and  religion. Meanwhile, her lawyers are pushing to get her off based on how “mentally ill” the Somali murderer is. The fact that she was in the UK illegally and the police knew is somehow not important in the least.

As you can see, nothing much has changed since I wrote the original article.

Can you just picture how different things would be if  a white British male had done this to a Muslim child? Or if her father had seen this beast pull out her knife, pushed little Emily out of the way and terminated the killer or even struck her? In either case, it would be front page news on the BBC and every British newspaper,complete with pictures of the killer and his identity would be revealed. If it had been Emily's dad, the fact that he was defending his little daughter from a vicious killer would mean very little. He'd be in jail for a long spell. And since most of Britain's citizens have been disarmed, there's probably very little her father or mother could have done to defend her and save her life anyway.

America is by no means immune to this darkness.  Five chassidic Jewish men, most of them elderly were recently attacked brutally by a black man armed with a machete in Monsey, New York. In spite of there being no question about the killer's identity or motive, (the 'suspect'  Grafton Thomas was found with his victim's blood all over him as well as the murder weapon). He also tried to run into a synagogue and attack but someone inside managed to close the door first.Public defender Kristine Ciganek argued her client had no criminal history and lived with his mother. Actually he had been charged previously with menacing and reckless endangerment charges lodged against him, which were  to be dismissed  if he avoided legal trouble.

The police investigation also found that Grafton Thomas had a major fixation on Jews, including reading Mein Kampf and some of Hitler's speeches as well as visiting a number of anti-semitic websites and keeping a journal of his sick ideas. When asked why he had done what he did, he replied "I just wanted to change the complexion of society."

 Thomas entered a not guilty plea, of course. And his lawyer's case, of course, is that he was 'mentally unstable and thus not responsible.'

Believe or not, this man was released without bail thanks to New York state's new laws. Read the list at the link.You won't believe what you can get away within New York state. The judge also ruled that Grafton Thomas would undergo a psychiatric evaluation. Rest assured he will likely be acquitted.
And this is by no means an isolated instance.

Here's food for thought. If people like these really are capable of this kind of violence because of their mental state, why keep them around? Don't we put rabid animals to sleep, especially if they have attacked  humans? Why not eliminate violent thugs in cases like these where there's no doubt? Why should they have even years of life in prison, something denied to Emily Jones simply because she came within reach of a murderous beast? And why not return to the old ways of capital punishment, which actually were something of a deterrent?

 Great Britain was once one of the free, civilized nations of the world, a country that exemplified the rule of law and the love of freedom. As many of you may now understand, that isn’t true anymore, and that saddens me.

The Brexit fiasco is a good example.Years after the British people voted to sever ties with the EU, the British government and Theresa May were more than willing to surrender British sovereignty to Brussels and to Germany and agreed to a ‘transition period’ lasting until 2022, with the UK following all EU policies without having any voice in making them. Among other things, the UK would not have been able to even regain full control of UK fisheries.

Not only that, but Britain’s borders would have been required to remain open to Muslim migrants and ‘refugees’ for the entire period. And all European Union citizens and ‘residents’ coming to the United Kingdom through this period into the 2020’s were to have full rights forever, under what the European Union’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier called a “new resident status,” saying this would give those citizens “legal certainty.”

Apparently the powers that be in the UK decided that the EU's idea that UK was to have no say in who comes to Britain, or how long they can stay was a good one...and so was not having  any power to remove them.  Allahu Akbar!

Well, Brexit finally went through, though it took a lot more time and another election. But the essential issue still remains.If you think Britain has a problem with restive Muslim migrants now, just wait a few years as even more of them flock to the UK. They’re already out breeding you, and given the large number of them on the dole, you’re paying through the nose to facilitate the takeover of your own country.

 

And public safety? A lot of your police even now were prepared to follow orders and protect their jobs and pensions by keeping quiet and hiding something they knew full well was going on…Muslims gangs raping literally hundreds of British underage girls and using them as prostitutes. Nothing has ever been done about this for the most part, and any one who risked their freedom Like Tommy Robinson, any journalist like Katie Hopkins who refused to keep quiet, and any teacher, social worker or government employee who tried to draw attention to this atrocity lost jobs, were demoted and in some cases lost their freedom.

Your police have even stooped to the level of obeying orders from their superiors not to prosecute Muslims for clear violations of British law!



Since it’s a bit hard to decipher in places because it was obviously recorded clandestinely, I’ll tell you what’s on this video. Muslims have been publicly praying in a Royal Park in London, which is a blatant violation of British law. London’s Metropolitan Police have deliberately refrained from enforcing that law, but in this case, the police are caught red handed. First, the police try to lie and claim the law doesn’t exist until someone actually reads them the exact wording and statute number. Then they finally admit that they have orders from their superiors not to enforce the law against Muslims and only Muslims!

(Apparently the powers that be at YouTube agreed with me that this was a blatant admission of how the British police have been ordered to behave and yanked it.)

Then, the police sergeant keeps asking this brave thought criminal to give him her ‘details’ which she wisely refuses to do, especially since she’s also surrounded by a number of outraged, aggressive Muslims. And anyway, giving your real name and address to London’s police in these situations when you’re already labeled an ‘Islamophobe’ and a ‘racist’ has consistently proven to be unwise.

How many other laws have your police been instructed to ignore when it comes to Muslims?

Do you really think this situation isn’t going to get even worse in the future you have coming unless you do something about it? The British Police are going out of their way to recruit more Muslim police officers as I write this. And rest assured that a number of them will be fast tracked for promotion and supervisory positions, particularly in London and other cities Muslims now dominate. As this process matures, for the most part the police will defend you even less in the future than they do now.

Once Islam really takes over your country, you will fear to even let your daughters, sisters or wives walk to school or to market. British girls will be abducted off the streets, gang raped, and beaten until they are forced to say the shehadah* and covert to Islam. And after that, they will be ‘married’ to one of the perpetrators and you will never even be allowed to see them again without their lord and master’s consent. You think I’m exaggerating? This has already happened to a great many Christian girls living in Egypt, Pakistan and other Muslim dominated countries. Do you think it won’t happen in Britain? Do you imagine your churches won’t be bombed or burned to the ground? They will.

This is what’s coming unless you stop it. If you don’t, you really have only three choices. You can surrender, flee if you can, or fight. Surrendering involves either converting to Islam or living the life of a dhimmi, without even the right to testify in court. And you'll be paying the jizrah tax to your Muslim overlords for the privilege of living according to their whims. Fleeing would mean migrating to Australia, New Zealand, Canada or America for the most part, assuming you can get in.If you can’t or won’t do either and you don’t fancy the life of a slave, the remaining choice is to fight. And the longer you avoid it, the tougher it’s going to be.

There are several serious obstacles you will need to overcome if you choose the third option. First, you have allowed yourselves to be disarmed, and that will need to change. Second you need to organize, and given the placid response by the British people to what’s been done to you so far, arousing them may take some doing. If the death of Emily Jones and the scandal of how your police covered up the sex grooming gangs hasn't roused them, I'm not sure what will. A society that refuses to protect its women and children is a conquered one. Is it any wonder some of your new 'residents' are acting in this way?


If you Brits wake up,  these obstacles can be overcome at this point, because you are the many and they are the few. And yes, by ‘they’ I also include the power structure and their hirelings who have brought a once proud and free nation to this point.

Arming yourselves is imperative, and not all that difficult. Basic but effective firearms can be constructed with a little knowledge, a secure workplace and some basic tools. They can also be stolen or smuggled in if necessary. You might also find that a lot of your fellow Brits have guns and ammo stowed away after reporting them as ‘lost’ or ‘stolen.’

There are also other weapons that can be easily obtained that are still quite effective and have advantages of their own. Crossbows are silent, accurate, easy to use and fairly deadly. A metal bolt from a modern crossbow can go through the walls of an average house or office. And they also have the advantage of leaving no powder traces or other telltale signs of being used, as well as no revealing flash at night to show where the shot came from. Modern re-cranking tools also make reloading a lot easier than it used to be. Swords, knives, axes and machetes can also be quite effective in the right time and place.

Your organizing should be on two levels, public and private. The public side might include politicians like the more nationalistic Tories, as well as UKIP and other parties and politicians willing to put aside their petty differences and unite. You may even find Muslims who came to the UK to leave behind things like sharia, jihad and honor killings willing to unite with you.

Obviously,while there are many nationalistic Tories, the party itself has done fairly little to date when it comes to the real problem. You need to insist on it. Nothing scares a politician as much as  organized voters telling them they'll be out of a job unless they deal with this NOW. If you aren't able to do this, the alternative,of course, is that the UK will eventually have a pro-Islamist Labour Prime Minister, perhaps even London Mayor Saddiq Kahn. And if the present mayor stays in power in London and people like him rule other Muslim majority cities, what do you think your lives will be like?

The private side is something else again, and calls for a fair amount of security and secrecy. Back when Britain was in danger of being invaded by the Nazis, PM Winston Churchill put together an entire system of secret cells of resistance fighters throughout Britain, men with training in covert sabotage, assassination and other resistance activities who had secret, well hidden locations stocked with arms, explosives, food and ammo. Fortunately, they never had to be used but such a system would have been quite effective if the Nazis had actually invaded. Keeping the groups in small cells ensured that if any of them were captured, they would be able to give up only the members of their own cells at worst, no matter what was done to them. It’s a system worth exploring. And if you look around carefully, you might just find some of the old hands still alive from WWII or more recent conflicts like the Falklands or AfPak who would be willing to pass on a few tricks from their training.

Just so no one faints away from shock, I’m not talking about an insurrection. This can still be handled politically at this time. But I am talking about preparedness, which is always a virtue, especially for a free people. It often prevents totalitarian politicians from pursuing their heart’s desire.
Thomas Jefferson had something to say about that once: "What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms." 

George Mason, another of the founders also put it quite well: "To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them."

Think about it.

Finally, leadership. I have an admission to make here. While you finally appear to have found some leadership in Boris Johnson*, it remains to be seen what he will do about the present situation. It seems like anyone who challenges what is being done to Britain these days is simply declared a ‘racist,’ fired and/or disgraced if they’re lucky and threatened – sorry, ‘cautioned’ – by the police, fined or even imprisoned if they’re not so lucky. And if they’re not UK citizens and try to enter the country to give a speech, be interviewed or attend a conference,  they’re detained and then thrown out of the country with zero due process for what Mao’s Red Guard would have called ‘incorrect thought.’

Here in America, we have a president, Donald Trump who seems to champion exactly the policies that  are likely what the UK  needs to be rescued…a stop to importing Muslim migrants from some of the most violent, dangerous countries in the world, better vetting of migrants who were or are allowed in, a nationalist foreign policy, a strong military, defense of American workers and a championing of the right of the American people to be armed and  able to defend themselves.
Is it any wonder your press and your political leaders and overlords despise President Trump? That they insult him and paint him in the worst colors, that they defame him even to the point of demanding he be barred from coming to the UK?

President Trump might not be perfect, because no president is. But just look at the political leaders you have! They’re actually engaged in the process of turning Britain from a free country into something far different, a nouveau version blending the worst elements of  1984 with A Clockwork Orange, except this time with Alex, Dim and his pals having names like Mohammed and Abdullah. I doubt even George Orwell’s or Anthony Burgess’s imagination stretched that far. And let’s not forget, you voted for this. You chose them as your leaders. What were you thinking???


Leadership is a funny thing. It can come from someone in an obvious position who steps forward in time of need, or from someone previously despised and rejected before, like Sir Winston Churchill. It can come from a military figure or a politician. It can even come out of nowhere when you least expect it. But you need to find it, and fast. Or perhaps, if you’re fortunate, it will find you at your hour of need.

In the end, the choice is up to you. What is your freedom worth to you, your children and your children’s children? Is this future I’ve painted above really what you want for yourselves and your posterity?

For what it’s worth, I’m hoping you get back up off the floor and win this one…for your own sake.And for Freedom's.After all, you’ve done it before.

*Correction. BoJo is no leader, and has no problem bowing down to the EU and allowing lots of 'refugees'  into Britain, mostly Muslims and Africans from France.

The Beginning Of The End Of British Justice

Britain, once the champion of the rule of law and due process no longer is, and it's official.

Tommy Robinson is a well known journalist and activist who opposes the Islamization of the UK.

Yesterday, he was video taping and adding commentary outside the courtroom where one of the three trials is being held for the Muslim sex grooming gangs who raped and forced over a thousand girls into prostitution. This is something the authorities were fully aware of but only chose to take action against when coverage of what was going on finally shamed them into it.

Just so you understand what I'm talking about, here's a list of the defendants and the crimes they have been charged with:

First Trial

Amere Singh Dhaliwal, 34, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., is accused of 54 charges, including 21 charges of rape and 14 charges of trafficking with a view of sexual exploitation. Dhaliwal is accused of charges against eleven different girls from 2004 to 2011.

Irfan Ahmed, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with nine offences including making an indecent image of a child.

Zahid Hassan, 28, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with 20 offences including six charges of raping a girl aged 13 or under.

Mohammed Kammer, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including rape of a girl under 15.

Mohammed Aslam, 29, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including rape of a girl under 15.

Abdul Rehman, 30, from Sheffield, South Yorks., was charged with seven offences including raping a girl under 15.

Raj Singh Barsran, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three offences including sexual touching of a girl over 13.

Nahman Mohammed, 31 from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three counts including trafficking a person for sexual exploitation.

Zubair Ahmed, 30, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including raping a girl under the age 15.

Hamzha Saleem, 37, from Old traddford, Gtr Mancs., was charged with three counts including human trafficking

Mansoor Akhtar, 25, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three offences including attempted rape of a girl under the age of 13.

Mohammed Asaf Akram, 31, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with 14 offences including four charges of raping a girl of thirteen or under and one charge of threatening to kill.

Wiqas Mahmud, 36 from Huddersfield, West Yorks.., was charged with three offences of rape of a girl under 15.

Nasarat Hussain, 28, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with five offences including rape of a girl under 15.

Sajid Hussain, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with five offences including rape of a girl under 15.

Mohammed Irfraz, 28, from Huddersfield, West Yorks.., was charged with eight offences including false imprisonment.

Faisal Nadeem, 30 from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three counts including raping a woman 16 or over.

Mohammed Azeem, 31, from Bradford, West Yorks., was charged with three offences including rape of a girl under 15.

Zulquarnian Dogar, 29, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including sexual touching of a female aged 13 or over.

Manzoor Hassan, 37, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with four offences including inciting the sexual exploitation of a child aged between 13-17.

Third trial, set to last for six weeks.

Niaz Ahmed, 53, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three offences including sexual assault on a female.

Mohammed Imran Ibrar, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with four offences including arranging the commission of a child sex offence.

Asif Bashir, 32, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with five offences, including three counts of raping a woman 16 or over.

Everton la Bastide, 50, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including sexual touching a girl of 13 or over.

Saqib Raheel, 30, from Dudley was charged with two offences including trafficking for sexual exploitation.

Usman Khalid, 29, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with three offences including assaulting a girl under 13.

Aleem Javaid, 27, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with two offences including supply of a class B drug.

Mrs Naveeda Habib, 38, from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged on one count of neglect of a child.

Mrs Shahnaz Malik, 55 from Huddersfield, West Yorks., was charged with one count of neglecting a child.

Look at these names and the crimes they've been charged with. Given Britain's present state of affairs, would they ever have even been charged and prosecuted unless the evidence was overwhelming? I doubt it.

And now back to l'Affaire Tommy Robinson. What he was doing was standing outside the court dealing with the second trial, and commenting on the trial and what it meant, something quite appropriate since he was one of the first to report originally on the Muslim Sex grooming gangs and demand the UK do something about it, years before the British police took action.

There were only a few people standing outside the court. Things were quiet.

Then a large police van pulled up, and 7 police mobbed him without warning, arrested him for 'disturbing the peace' and threw him in jail. In less than six hours, he was sentenced to thirteen months in prison.



This was done without his lawyer receiving notice or having time to prepare any defense.

Even worse, the judge, one Geoffrey Marson QC, ordered an Orwellian media blackout - which resulted in British media and online publications deleting their articles from the web covering Robinson's arrest...just as they have been ordered not to publish anything regarding the trials. If you live in the UK, you probably will not be able to read this article online.



If this sounds familiar, it's exactly how Hitler and Stalin acted and how other totalitarian governments still act today - a sudden arrest, a quick 'trial' if you can call it that and an equally quick imprisonment without even a nod towards due process. An enemy of the State has been identified and removed and all mention of him or what happened to him is now forbidden.

When Tommy Robinson's lawyer (his solicitor in BritSpeak) finally got an opportunity to speak to the judge after Robinson had already been sentenced and whisked off to jail, he told the judge that a thirteen month sentence of this kind was tantamount to a death sentence, since Robinson was well known, Britain's prisons are filled with Muslims and there have been attempts on his life before. Judge Marson told the lawyer that this was the concern of the prison, not him and threatened Robinson's lawyer with contempt when he attempted to reply.

There are two things going on here. First, Tommy Robinson is being set up to be an example to others. And second, it's obvious that this judge and those giving him his orders want as little coverage of these horrendous atrocities as possible, knowing how it could outrage the British public and awaken them. And it's obvious that the plan is to give a number of the defendants light sentences or even acquittals...without too much attention or media coverage of it.

I don't think it's coincidental that Theresa May's new choice for Home Secretary to replace Amber Rudd was none other than Sajid Javid, a Pakistani Muslim. The Homer Secretary, of course, oversees immigration and citizenship for the UK as well as policing and matters of domestic security. So Robinson's arrest and sentencing may well have been part of an order from upstairs to start cracking down more severely on those not on board for the New Order in Britain.


At that, the British Establishment might have gone just a bit too far this time. There have been massive protests  over this Stalinist conduct, although British media is not reporting them or publishing any commentary on either Robinson's arrest or the rape gang trials. Even some on the Left who ordinarily are the polar opposite of Robinson politically are smart enough to understand what's going on here. Not only that, but if Tommy Robinson is murdered in prison, it could turn him into a martyr and might be just enough to awake the sleeping Lion at last. There are a number of things the British people can do to take back their country, and this just might be a catalyst.

Tommy Robinson is by no means a perfect human being. He's committed a number of stupid acts in the past including some football hooliganism and been justly punished for it. But this is something different. It's the unwarranted political prosecution of someone who was committing journalism. Will those outside of Britain who claim to be all for defending freedom of the press make this a cause celebre'? I doubt it but I am perfectly willing to be pleasantly surprised.

A Haunting Video From The UK – “Stiff Upper Lip”

This song, "Stiff Upper Lip" was written by Byron De La Vandal. it is about the UK in the 21st century and reflects the emotion of quite a few people in the UK in view of their government's inaction against Islamist terrorism and subversion.



After failing to thwart two terror attacks that have occurred in the U.K. so far this year – both of which were carried out by suspected jihadis who were known to U.K. authorities – intelligence agencies have identified 23,000 potential jihadis living in Britain, according to a report published in the Times of London on Saturday.

Out of that total, 3,000 are suspected of posing an “imminent threat” and are being investigated accordingly, the Times reports. Meanwhile, the other 20,000 have been involved with past investigations and have been categorized as posing a “residual risk.”

Those MI5 figures were confirmed by UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd the following day on Andrew Marr's BBC show.

I personally bet this is a low ball estimate, based on the UK's law enforcement agencies previous desire to ignore Islamist extremism for the sake of political correctness. And even at that, these men and women are still free, even the 3,000 who pose an imminent threat.

More proof that MI5 is likely underestimating the nature of the problem is the fact that both Manchester attacker Salman Abedi and Westminster killer Khalid Masood were in a pool of “former subjects of interest” and were no longer the subject of surveillance efforts, the Times reported. Abedi, a 23-year-old whose parents immigrated to the U.K. from Libya, killed 22 kids, in addition to himself, when he detonated a bomb just as attendees of a concert by American singer Ariana Grande were rushing for the exits following her concert.

Is it any wonder that hideous attacks like the one on the Finsbury Mosque in London are occurring as people see their government as ineffectual in providing even basic public safety from Islamist terrorism? That some people are likely to take matters into their own hands?

By an odd coincidence, a motion picture is premiering soon that is based on one of Britain's finest hours, Dunkirk. In 1940, when France fell to the Nazis, the British expeditionary force was trapped on the beaches at Dunkirk with their backs to the sea, subject to artillery and tank attacks from the land and strafing and bombing from the Luftwaffe. To rescue their army, the British pulled off an amazing feat of heroism. They sent everything that could float across the channel to pick up the stranded troops - naval vessels, tug boats, even pleasure boats and yachts captained by civilians who volunteered and jauntily sailed their boats into fire and shell. As Churchill put it afterwards, "The little ships of England brought the Army home." And the rescued soldier became the core of the British Army who helped defeat Hitler.

Does that spirit still exist in Britain? Does it still live there? Byron De La Vandal's "Stiff Upper Lip" and the accompanying video seems to indicate that it does and will surface in the end. Time will tell. In any event, it seems that things are going down to the wire.

The UK Left: 'Europe Needs To Just Get Used to Attacks Like Manchester"

Apparently children are just meant to be sacrificed for the greater goal of multiculti according to Britain's Left. Can't do anything about it you know, just like the weather.

Katty Kay is a well known BBC anchorwoman, and she pretty much said exactly that in an interview with far Left MSNBC personality Mike Brzezinsky.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI, MORNING JOE: Katty Kay, your reaction and also tell us about this part of the country.

KATTY KAY, BBC: Manchester is about three hours northeast of Britain. It's Britain's second biggest city. It has, of course, as do most British cities, a large immigrant, and large Muslim population. It is the kind of place where Ariana Grande would go and play up in the north of the country.

And now the investigation will try to be on whether this person acted alone or whether there is some kind of cell behind it. It's particularly awful, this one, because it was girls. My daughter is 11. Her greatest wish in life is to go to an Ariana Grande concert. Ariana Grande is coming to play in Washington, D.C. in September and she really wants tickets for it. And those are the kinds of kids that were at this concert. It was families. And the heartbreaking news that we're getting from the Manchester police this morning, the statements they're putting out of mothers they found who are still looking for their daughters and daughters they found still looking for their mothers and they can't find the rest of their families.

And I think that's what's making -- Europe is getting used to attacks like this, Mika. We have to because we are never going to be able to totally wipe this out. As ISIS gets squeezed in Syria and Iraq, we're going to see more of these kinds of attacks takes place in Europe. And Europe is starting to get used to that. None of us are used to having children targeted in this way, young girls targeted in this way.

This, by the way, is pretty much what French President Macron said, that attacks like Bataclan and Nice were simply the price to pay for 'a truly multicultural society.'

This woman has already surrendered. She's prepared to become a dhimmi, a 'protected person' with no real rights except what her overlords decree. Perhaps someone ought to clue her in as to how many girls like her daughter fare in a number of Muslim dominated countries like Egypt and Pakistan. Non-Muslim girls there are routinely kidnapped, 'converted' to Islam and 'married' to their kidnappers, after which they are not even allowed contact with their families except on the whim of their new owner.

Her nonsense about the cause being pressure on ISIS in places like Iraq and Syria is ridiculous. Perhaps if the UK and other European countries weren't letting these people in, things like this just might not happen. You think? Even a child who touches a hot stove and gets burned has the brains to figure out that it's a bad idea to repeat the behavior.

And that goes for native born jihadis too. There's no reason not to have them face a deportation tribunal.And no reason not to subject jihadist Mosques and Imams to surveillance.

Salman Abedi, the suicide bomber who was actually set off the nail bomb at the Manchester auditorium, wasn't from Iraq or Syria. He was British born, and actually a so-called 'known wolf' who was already on the radar of British police with known ties to Islamist terrorism. Yet there the was, free as a bird.

Did I mention the weather earlier? Well there's little control over that. But what happened at Manchester could have been controlled and avoided, provided Britain's government wants it so.

The British Left in general is pretty much taking the same position Katty Kay is. Because there's a national election coming up in a week or two in which Labour is already trailing badly. So the spin is necessary.

And Katty Kay isn't alone here. The far Left Guardian is equally spinning the narrative, but in a more subtle, evil way. Prominent columnist George Monbiot's shtick is that we have to submerge our outrage and remember what he calls our common humanity:

The terrorists want to drive us apart, to sow suspicion and fear, to oblige us to replace liberty with security and answer them with bombs and bullets of our own. For a terrorist organisation any of this, if implemented, would mean mission accomplished. So we should do the opposite. We defy them by proving that this is not what we are. And the proof is everywhere. [...]

This is why terrorism happens: those who perpetrate it know that an attack on one is an attack on all. People are killed or injured in order to maximise the distress suffered by a far greater number – and to induce us, blinded by outrage, to forget our humanity and to lash out. This then cultivates a political environment in which terrorists prosper: a nation dominated by fear, a cycle of revenge, and the escalation of conflict.

Altruism and empathy are what binds us together, and what defines us. We should let no one distract us from this central fact of our nature: neither terrorists nor those who, in response to them, demand that we slam our doors in the faces of an entire community or an entire religion.

What a fine, humanitarian human being! Ummm, except when it comes to Jews and especially Israel. He's a prominent supporter of BDS and a pal to Labour's anti-semitic leader Jeremy Cobyn. He also was a founder of George Galloway's Hamas and Hezbollah friendly Respect Party.

Obviously, nail bombs in pizza parlors that kill and maim Jewish children aren't something to condemn at all for Mr. Monbiot. After all, it's the Jew's fault isn't it? Always is.

If the European Left has its way, Europe's people will simply be limited to the options Mohammed told his followers to give them in Qur'an 9:5, also known as 'The verse of the Sword'; to become corpses, Muslims,or tribute paying slaves.

The Brits, the French, all of the free people of Europe are going to have to decide whether what they believe in is worth fighting for.

PM Theresa May Calls For Renewing The UK's Special Relationship With America

British Prime Minister Theresa May is in America to meet with President Trump and talk over a few things, and took advantage of an invitation to address the Republican Retreat in Philadelphia. The basic theme of her speech was renewing the UK's special relationship with America.   She got an extremely warm reception.



She spoke movingly about the ties  between America and the UK, invoking the close relationship between President Reagan and PM Margaret Thatcher. She recognizes, thank goodness, that this is an American renewal and obviously supports it. I think PM May and President Trump will get along famously.

PM May is obviously excited over Trump's offer of a separate trade deal now that Britain is leaving the EU.

While I thought the speech was well done, the following items were sour notes:

Her remarks on the Iran deal 'preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons for at least a decade' were, shall I say, more than a tad optimistic and far fetched, since it has done nothing of the kind. Deals like this between totalitarian regimes and democratic nations seldom turn out well, and the Iran deal is no exception. Watch and see.

While she did mention 'radical Islamism' and she's obviously no fool on the matter, her remarks on the peaceful nature of ' millions of Muslims' were obsequious and obviously designed to try to placate Muslims in the UK - a significant number of whom are definitely not peaceful.The UK actually has 9 sharia courts Muslims are required to use for family law, with horrendous results for the UK's Muslim women. You'll notice her audience didn't applaud during either of those two segments.

As an aside, it was also rather cute that she's obviously not used to American audiences. We Yanks tend to applaud far more then Brits do, more vociferously and whenever we feel like it!

All in all though, a great start.

Britain Suspends Aid to Palestinians Over Terrorism Funding

Britain's The Sun is reporting that the UK has suspending millions of pounds in foreign aid payments to the Palestinian Authority because of 'serious allegations' that the money is being used to fund terrorism.

Britain's International Development Secretary Priti Patel has ordered a freeze pending an investigation, after furious British MPs demanded action following revelations that UK aid supposedly paying for civil servants in Gaza was being transferred to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Aside from funding “salaries” for families of suicide bombers, convicted vehicle terrorists and knife wielding killers attacking Israelis, various 'operations' are being bankrolled.In one instance, a Hamas master bomber was allegedly given £100,000 by the PLO.

The Department for International Development has admitted previously that the PLO makes “social welfare” provisions for terrorist prisoners and their families but at th etime, denied that UK funds are being used this way.

But according to The Sun, the Department has finally conceded that many of the so-called civil servants were actually involved in terrorism,or as the Department put it, ' doing other jobs' while receiving UK taxpayers’ funds.

The decision affects £25 million in cash is being withheld this year – a third of the total aid sent to the Palestinian Authority. While the majority supposedly goes to charities in the region, there have also been repeated instances of these funds being diverted as well since a lot of these charities employ local Arabs as staff members and any real accounting is difficult.

The Palestinian Authority is perpetually asking for more donor aid, claiming to be broke. Yet Mahmoud Abbas continues to spend six percent of the PA’s annual budget to pay $4.5 million a month to jailed terrorists, another $6.5 million to their families, $1.2 million to Sufa Arafat as a 'pension' so she can live a luxurious lifestyle in the ritziest part of Paris and $16 million on a brand new presidential compound. And that doesn't count Abbas's annual salary of $12 million, or the money he and his Fatah cronies siphon off the aid money for themselves.*

Senate Republicans introduced legislation just days ago to cut off all financial aid to 'Palestine' until the Secretary of State certifies that the Palestinian Authority is no longer using aid money to reward and finance terrorists.

Good luck with that, since Abbas has admitted he's repeatedly lied about the matter!

Still these are positive steps, particularly with the UK. Can it be that the world's oldest running con game is finally starting to come to an end?

We'll see.

The Unintended Education

This is the story of a 'teachable moment' that wasn't intended to be one.

Shachar Rabinovitch is a 13-year-old girl living in Israel. She recently wrote to British academic Marsha Levine, who is reportedly an expert on horses that she was doing a school project and sent her a polite letter asking her for some information about the domestication and breeding of early horse species:

Hello!

My name is Shachar Rabinovitch and I'm from Israel.

I'm doing an assessment for school about horses, and it will be great if you can answer a few questions that I will ask.

1. What ancient horses breeds preserved and were a base to the breeds we know today?

2. How did the ancient humans created new breeds or kept the ones who already were existent?

3. What ancient horse breed the ancient humans used the most and what were those uses?

4. Where did the ancient horses breeds lived?

Dr. Marsha Levine

Levine caught a little bit of flack even in the UK for this gratuitous nastiness. She defended herself for her response as “fair,” saying she didn’t want to boost the 13-year-old girl’s “ego or make her feel better about herself.” Per Britain's Jewish Chronicle:

“I made the decision that I have the choice not to waste my time on people who tread on the rights of other people. I didn’t do anything to her. I said that when there is justice for Palestine I will answer her – that’s a fair answer.

“I want this girl not to worry about horses. I don’t need people emailing me… I don’t see any obligation to further her ego or make her feel better about herself.”

In other words, she decided to boost her own ego by shaming a 13-year-old girl who did nothing to her but ask a few polite questions about a subject Dr. Levine is supposedly a known expert on. And of course, to let her know that as a Jew living in a country Dr. Levine considers a pariah, she wasn't entitled to even basic civility, let alone any education.

A number of people have commented on the cruelty of Marsha Levine's response to a 13-year old girl, but I actually see Marsha Levine's action in a positive light. While her intent wasn't to teach Shachar anything, I think she did, and she even might have imparted something to more than a few discerning Jews victimized by what I refer to as the Jewish Stockholm Syndrome.

You see, Ms. Levine has now given young Shachar some important lessons - that Jew hatred and its modern mask 'anti-Zionism' is a psychosis which no appeasement, actions or 'dialogue' can alleviate or end, and that all too many Jews eagerly participate in it with extraordinary zeal. She also now understands that there is no consideration or quarter given for age or sex and most importantly, that a strong and powerful Israel is an absolute necessity.

She has also learned exactly what kind of 'human beings' populate BDS ranks.

These are valuable lessons a lot of Jews, especially in the diaspora have yet to learn. So Marsha Levine was actually teaching in spite of herself...just not what she expected to teach.

Speaking of which, various other academics who are experts on horses were revolted by Marsha Levine, and are helping Shachar with the information she was seeking. As one of them, Professor James Russell of Harvard put it,“Prof. Levine’s conduct is unprofessional and beneath human contempt. It makes one ashamed to be a member of the same academic profession. But it does reflect very accurately the character of the BDS movement and of those who support it.”

Indeed it does. Unintended education can sometimes be the most valuable of all.

JK Rowling - When Cowardice Calls

British author JK Rowling is a brilliant storyteller who achieved her fame and fortune creating Harry Potter, one of modern literature's heroic characters, He's noted for his willingness to face up to evil and stand by his values no matter what the odds. More than one person has seen Rowling's Harry Potter series, written in the age of the terrorism of 9/11 and the London Tube bombings as an allegory for our own times.

Britain has changed a great deal recently. It's become a place with 9 sharia courts mandatory for Muslims in domestic affairs, scandals involving Muslim gangs engaged in serial rape and abuse of British girls and a rising tide of anti-semitism,often thinly masked as 'anti-Zionism.'

It's a place where a British soldier can be openly beheaded in broad daylight on the streets of London, and where certain areas areas are virtually no-go areas for non-Muslims. And it's a place where the BDS movement is strong, and where even the BBC's former chairman called the nationally funded broadcaster biased and warped in its Middle East coverage where Israel is concerned.

The vociferously anti-Israel Labour Party just elected Jeremy Corbyn by a landslide as its new leader, a man who makes no secret of his hatred for Israel and refers to Hamas and Hezbollah as 'friends.'

One of the more insidious aspects of all this are widespread calls for boycotts of Israel scientists, academics and cultural figures, frequently expanded to include British Jews or anyone else who defends Israel and dares to go against the tide.

Ms. Rowling (who remains a solid Labour supporter) appeared for a moment to stand against that tide last week.

Along with about 150 other prominent Britons in the arts, she signed an open letter in the very anti-Israel Guardian newspaper calling for more cultural ties and engagements with Israel instead of boycotts.

"Cultural boycotts singling out Israel are divisive and discriminatory, and will not further peace," the letter states. "Open dialogue and interaction promote greater understanding and mutual acceptance, and it is through such understanding and acceptance that movement can be made towards a resolution of the conflict."

The letter continues by voicing support for the two-state solution and concludes that "Cultural engagement builds bridges, nurtures freedom and positive movement for change."

In view of the ongoing cultural,academic and artistic boycotts of all things Israeli now ongoing in Britain and elsewhere, this letter was at least an admirable attempt at a principled stance, and a chance to go on record as someone unwilling to go along with the mob.

And then the mob struck back, singling out JK Rowling, the most famous and well known of the signers as a traitor to her leftist views. And goodness,did she cave quickly, revealing the moral delinquency within! Here's her response:

“The Palestinian community has suffered untold injustice and brutality. I want to see the Israeli government held to account for that injustice and brutality. Boycotting Israel on every possible front has its allure. It satisfies the human urge to do something, anything, in the face of horrific human suffering.

What sits uncomfortably with me is that severing contact with Israel’s cultural and academic community means refusing to engage with some of the Israelis who are most pro-Palestinian, and most critical of Israel’s government. “

In other words, what JK Rowling is telling her critics is 'What are you thinking? There are all sorts of self-hating Jews and far Left Israelis we can team up with to use as a cover for our own Israel hatred and anti-semitism! Why throw out the baby with the bath water?'

This at a time when Jewish men, women, children and the elderly in Israel are being targeted for terrorist assault on a daily basis, and the 'Palestinian community' is by and large applauding it as something holy.

And JK Rowling gives this hateful conduct a complete pass, legitimizing it.

I'll resist the temptation to speculate here on how her Harry Potter stories would have been warped if her fictional creation had her morals and her values.

Some things are so obvious they need no explanation, especially when cowardice and appeasement call and receive such a willing and servile answer.

Britain And Sweden Send A Clear Message To Israel

 

Today, the British Parliament took a largely symbolic vote to recognize 'Palestine'. The motion and the vote were largely symbolic, carried out by what are known as 'backbenchers', about one third of Parliament consisting of members of the House of Commons who are not in government, mostly from the Left wing Labour Party.

This follows the remarks of new Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, head of a minority coalition of Leftist Social Democrats and Greens in his inaugural speech that "A two-state solution requires mutual recognition and a will to peaceful co-existence. Sweden will therefore recognize the state of Palestine."

The House of Common’s vote that urges David Cameron’s government to “recognise the state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel, as a contribution to securing a negotiated two state solution” isn't going to change British policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict - at least not yet. But it is a clear sign of which way the wind is blowing.

Let's be clear about what these members of Parliament are voting for. They want Britain to recognize a 'country' with no recognized borders, ruled for the past decade by an unelected dictator who is now in a unity government partnered up with Hamas, a genocidal terrorist group.

That's what they have signaled that they favor. It isn't a 'state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel' but a state of Palestine instead of Israel, since that is what Hamas and Fatah both want.

 

Mahmoud Abbas' draft UN Resolution calls for forcing Israel to turn over all of Judea and Samaria as well as all of East Jerusalem to 'Palestine', so at the very least, they are telling the world they favor the ethnic cleansing of 500,000 Jews from their homeland, the barring of Jews from their holy sites in Jerusalem and since those borders are indefensible, eventually the eradication of any Jewish presence at all in the Middle East.

 

They are also telling the world that appeasing their restive domestic Muslim populations and garnering temporary quiet and Muslim votes means more to them than Jewish lives, most immediately in Israel but eventually in their home countries as well.

And the huge deal the EU is making over Jews building homes in East Jerusalem and even in Gush Etzion, an area legally purchased by Jews back in the 1920's should tell us something else. They are not remotely 'honest brokers.' They have accepted the PLO position in its entirety, and they are, for the most part. simply lying when they talk about favoring negotiations. What they  want is the surrender of Israel , with the Jews moving back to the ghetto that former Israeli diplomat Abba Eban famously referred to as 'the Auschwitz lines.'

That's even more true today then when he first said it.

There's no mistaking this message, and expect it to be repeated by Norway, France, The Netherlands, Denmark and a number of other EU countries. In fact, the EU is already threatening sanctions against Israel if Israel 'fails to make progress in the peace process', which given the demands of Hamas/Fatah means essentially surrendering to their diktats and committing national suicide.

But believe it or not, this is something of a blessing in disguise. And a major opportunity for Israel.

Israel now has the chance to face and accept reality. As far as much of the EU is concerned, no matter what concessions Israel makes, it will never be enough. And no matter what Israel does to defend its people, it will always be disproportionate.

There's also this simple truth. When You're dealing with blackmail, the demands never end, as long as you're willing to keep giving in.

It's time Israel realized that, and acted accordingly, both with the Palestinians and with certain nations in the EU. This doesn't call for any grand speeches, but a simple 'no' and the national will by the government of Israel to do what they were elected to do..look after Israel's interests. And that includes asserting its national rights to the land of Israel. Including building homes and infrastructure for its citizens in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria.

What kind of nation puts up with other countries telling it where it can build houses and schools? For that matter, what other country would put up with the blatant hypocrisy of the EU sticking its nose into any of the other disputed areas of the world and recognizing 'states'? For instance, do you see Britain or the EU recognizing an 'independent Tibet' or an 'independent Kashmir' and throwing billions their way? Could that be because China and India would tell them to mind their own business? In fact, India's National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan told U.S. President Barack Obama openly that the president was 'barking up the wrong tree' when Obama tried to 'Palestinize' Kashmir in February of 2009.

Yes, yes, I know. The EU is a prominent trade partner of Israel. In 2013, (excluding diamonds) bi-lateral trade came to around €31.4 billion (over 147 billion NIS) with EU exports to Israel reaching €17.9 billion (close to 85 billion NIS)in 2013, while imports from Israel were €13.5 billion (63.5 billion NIS). Some 32% of Israel’s exports (excluding diamonds) went to the EU and 34% of its imports (excluding diamonds) came from the EU.

But the numbers don't tell the whole story.

With the exception of Germany, many of the EU countries are in a precarious, debt ridden financial condition. Israel, comparatively, is not. And it is Germany that is by far Israel's biggest trading partner in the EU, a relationship that is likely to continue..especially when you consider Israel's oil and natural gas wealth. Britain does a fair amount of trade with Israel as well.

The amount of trade that goes on isn't because the UK has any great love for Israel.It's because Israel produces things they very much want to buy and purchases things the UK needs to seell..On the other hand, many of the things Israel buys from the UK and most other EU nations can be purchased elsewhere if necessary.

And Israel's trade with Asia is also growing by leaps and bounds, and may actually surpass trade with the US this year. In fact, with the new pro-Israel government in India and the growing trade with China, Vietnam, South Korea and Singapore, Israel's trade with Asia could easily surpass its trade with the EU in a year or two.

To put it bluntly, Israel has other markets for its goods,if it comes to that. And in spite of the threats, much of the EU needs trade with Israel economically much more than they need to continue throwing money at Hamas/Fatah...or disturbing what is a very profitable relationship. That's especially true when it comes to gas and oil not controlled by Vladimir Putin.

BREAKING: Obama's 'Coalition Of Partners' On ISIS Chrashes And Burns

 


President Obama's ridiculous speech last night on combating the Islamic State had these main components - making sure to mention that Islamic State was neither a state or Islamic, airstrikes on Iraq and Syria, reassuring his Leftist base that no U.S. ground troops would be participating, and this:

This is our strategy. And in each of these four parts of our strategy, America will be joined by a broad coalition of partners.

Apparently President Obama opened his mouth before actually taking roll call on those 'allies.'

 

The Brits, supposedly our closest strategic ally have already said they won't do any airstrikes in Iraq and have expanded that 'no thanks': to include Syria:

Britain’s foreign secretary says his country won’t participate in airstrikes on Syria, following an announcement from Washington that it would begin hitting targets inside the country.

Speaking Thursday after talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Philip Hammond said Britain won’t be “revisiting” the issue after Parliament decided last year against participating in airstrikes.

And apparently Steinmeier's presence was no accident. The Germans opted out too.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier told a news conference in Berlin that Germany has not been asked to take part in the air strikes and would not be participating. “To quite clear, we have not been asked to do so and neither will we do so,” Steinmeier said.

Even more importantly, President Barack Obama's dear Islamist friend Turkey not only said it will not participate, but won't even let American forces use bases we lease in Turkey to attack The Islamic State:

Turkey will refuse to allow a US-led coalition to attack jihadists in neighbouring Iraq and Syria from its air bases, nor will it take part in combat operations against militants, a government official told AFP Thursday.

"Turkey will not be involved in any armed operation but will entirely concentrate on humanitarian operations," the official said on condition of anonymity.

Turkey's non-participation is key, because it borders both Iraq and Syria and has a reasonably strong, U.S. equipped military.

The Turks are refusing to get involved because when Mosul fell to The Islamic State, so did the Turkish Consulate and 49 hostages...and also because they don't want to encourage the Kurds because of their own suppressed Kurdinh minority in Turkey. And because they have backed The Islamic State from the start against Assad. You'd think someone might have whispered this  in the ear of our prevaricator-in-chief before he asked them to join up.

So who's left? The French? Possible, in a very limited way, but doubtful...remember all those French Muslim voters and the upcoming elections.Hollande and the socialists will need every vote they can get.

New Europe? The Poles, Baltic States, Georgia and Ukraine all contributed to Iraq and Afghanistan, but after the way the Obama Administration has treated them and what with Putin on the prowl, faggeddabbouddit.

There's the Sunni Arab states, and Secretary of State Kerry is headed there as I write this. The Saudis and the GCC may help,but again in a limited way and certainly not with boots on the ground. Aside from the fact that one of them Qatar is actually funding the Islamic State and has been for some time, there's also the problem of Iran, the president's new friend. The Saudis and the Emirates are smart enough to know even if Obama and Kerry aren't that if ISIS is taken off the board, there's no obstacle to Iran achieving its long time goal of a Shi'ite nuclear armed bloc.

They've long since stop trusting Obama's assurances on the matter. It remains to be seen what Kerry can promise them to get them fully involved. Certainly it won't be with boots on the ground.

The same applies to the Egyptians who are not exactly Obama fans at this point and have their own jihadis to deal with at home and next door in Libya thanks to this president. They won't be fighting in Iraq and Syria in any large way, and anything they do it will be for a steep price demanded of Obama.

That leaves Iran, Iran's Shi'ite militias, Hezbollah, the Iraqi army none of whom have been able to stop Islamic State's fighters thus far. And the Kurds, who don't trust Obama and will concentrate on defending their own territory. Oh, and about1,700 US 'advisers' (the president glossed over those in his speech) who are basically in the same position our advisers in Vietnam were circa 1962. 

Islamic State isn't going to be defeated by air strikes, and those are the boots on the ground. And is the U.S. going to act as the Shi'ite air force now, taking sides in the sectarian conflict in the region? I do seem to remember a certain freshman senator from Illinois and his Democrat buddies criticizing President Bush for getting us involved in a sectarian civil war in Iraq,don't you?

 I hope I'm wrong, but just watch as he sends more 'advisers' in to cover his chest thumping rhetoric.

President Obama has no real strategy, except to make it look like he's doing something and improve his terrible poll numbers before the election to try and hold the senate. As always, everything is about politics with this president - not the country.

 

UPDATE: It appears that just as I predicted, the Arab Countries are not entirely on board either. Can it be they too no longer trust this president? I guess when you lie to people habitually...

Ridiculous To Criticize Israel's 'Appropriation' Of Vacant Land In Judea

 

The latest cause for criticism of Israel has to do with its declaring 4,000 dunams of vacant land (about 1.54 square miles) in the Israeli bloc of communities known as Gush Etzion to be public land, and thus available for building.

The response from the usual suspects was predictable.

“We have long made clear our opposition to continued settlement activity,” a US official told Reuters. “This announcement, like every other settlement announcement Israel makes… is counterproductive to Israel’s stated goal of a negotiated two-state solution with the Palestinians.”

“We urge the government of Israel to reverse this decision.”

Someone should tell this man (not that he'd listen) that the 'negotiated two-state solution' ship sailed a long time ago. That was before Mahmoud Abbas partnered up with Hamas. And even if it was still viable, Israel isn't going to give up the area in question anyway and retreat to the kind of borders John Kerry and Barack Obama envision

The British and French, with all those restless Muslim voters to appease were even stronger in their language.

British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said in a statement "The UK deplores the Israeli government's expropriation of 988 acres of land around the settlement of Etzion."

"This is a particularly ill-judged decision that comes at a time when the priority must be to build on the ceasefire in Gaza. It will do serious damage to Israel's standing in the international community."

Really, Mr. Hammond? Are you guaranteeing that Hamas will disarm if Israel doesn't build a few houses on vacant land it controls? And why is the ceasefire a priority for Israel, rather than for Hamas? Wouldn't disarming Hamas do a lot more to 'build on the ceasefire?'

France also rebuked the Israeli announcement on Monday, with spokesman Romain Nadal saying that France "condemns" the action and "calls on the Israeli authorities to reconsider their decision."

The UN, of course, also weighed in, saying it was 'alarmed by yesterday’s announcement by Israeli authorities to declare as so-called ‘state land’ nearly 1,000 acres of land in the Bethlehem area of the West Bank."

The wording of the UN statement is revealing. Actually, the area in question is adjacent to Gush Etzion, a bloc of Israeli communities with almost 100,000 people in it rather than Bethlehem, a small town of 25,000 now controlled by the Palestinian Authority. The biased language is obvious.

It's good to know with the region on fire, the UN, Obama Administration, UK and France have their priorities in the right place!

The Hamas/Fatah unity government known as The Palestinian Authority was predictably florid in its rhetoric.

Chief negotiator Saeb Erekat, formerly the right fork of Yasser Arafat's tongue was in overdrive.

“The Israeli government is committing various crimes against the Palestinian people and their occupied land,” he told AFP. “The international community should hold Israel accountable as soon as possible for its crimes and raids against our people in Gaza and the ongoing Israeli settlement activity in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.”

The response from the Arabs whom refer to themselves as Palestinians can be discounted, since they're essentially a hostile entity to Israel. But let's look at what the other actors are saying.

  The biased, hypocritical nonsense spewed by the UN, the Obama Administration and other members of 'the international community tells you everything you need to know. Their idea of the perfect solution to everything is for Israel to retreat to the indefensible pre '67 borders and hand Mahmoud Abbas and his Hamas allies the keys. They have the outcome of any 'negotiations' all worked out in advance and then get upset when Israel doesn't go along with the program of its own extinction.

The area in question is vacant land adjacent to Gush Etzion. That puts it in Area C, a part of Judea and Samaria that is under Israeli sovereignty anyway according to the Oslo Accords and the Road Map, both of which the United States was a signatory to as well as Israel and the Palestinians. Since there are no counter claims of ownership, there was no reason for Israel not to make it public land, and they had every right to do so.

 

Moreover, they had a compelling reason to do so. Among other things, this is a response to the kidnapping and murder in June of three Israeli teenagers in the Etzion Bloc by Mahmoud Abbas's good friends and partners Hamas.That heinous crime set off Operation Brother’s Keeper, the huge search effort to locate the teenagers and a crackdown on Hamas operatives in Judea and Samaria that put hundreds behind bars.

This new land will be an extension of a community in Gush Etzion known as Gvaot, home to a number of families and a well known winery. Now, it can become a city.That's the appropriate response to what happened. They destroy, Israel builds.

 

And actually, this is one of the more intelligent things the Netanyahu government has done, and I hope it continues.

After each attack on Israel, whether its terrorism, lawfare or diplomatic, put some more land under Israeli control and then annex it. Trust the Land. Build on it. Let a thousand bulldozers sing..

 
 

Just like a recalcitrant puppy that continues to make on the rug, providing real world consequences for bad actions will send a message soon enough that better behavior is called for. That is what may actually bring about realistic negotiations in the end, if it happens at all.

How Scottish Independence Could End Britain's Nuclear Deterrent

 

Scotland will hold a referendum next month on whether to remain part of the UK or become an independent country. While a large number of voters are undecided and the jury's still out on whether the Scots will vote 'yes' on independence, one interesting result of a yes vote could very well be the end of Britain as a nuclear power.

 

Currently Britain bases all of its arsenal of 58 Trident II D-5 missiles and 160 deployed nuclear warheads in Scotland, along with its four Vanguard-class submarines that can be used to launch them. The subs are based at Faslane, an inlet at the mouth of the River Clyde on Scotland's west coast near Glasgow.

The Scottish National Party(SNP) as well as the other parties pushing for independence have pledged that an independent Scotland would be a nuclear-free zone within four years of breaking off from Great Britain. That position appeals to a large part of the Scottish polity, who feel that the UK basing its nuclear arsenal in Scotland rather than in England or Wales makes Scotland a target in the event of hostilities because it's 'housing England's nukes.'

A “yes” vote would almost certainly force what's left of the United Kingdom to find a new home for the weapons and a new home port for its nuclear subs. The problem is that at this point, that facility simply doesn't exist.Britain might be able to lease the base from Scotland for a couple of years, but that's about it.

To build a new base would cost billions Britain doesn't have and might take close to a decade. It's likely that Britain itself might choose to scrap its nuclear deterrent instead. That's especially true given the state of Britain's military today, including the renowned Royal Navy, which has been downsized almost to the point of being a coastal defense force.

As it is, the UK plans to slash an additional 30,000 personnel from Britain’s already reduced armed forces by 2020, and any kind of military spending is unpopular, particularly among Britain's expanding Muslim electorate. The UK made a point of quickly declining to participate in air strikes on Islamic State President Obama announced earlier this month, limiting their participation to a few humanitarian supply airlifts.

To add to this factor, a vote for Scottish independence would essentially mean a divorce, with the accompanying negotiations over facilities, bases, armaments and personnel. Scotland would need to develop and equip its own defense force, and since Scots are well represented in Britain's military and many would likely want to serve in the newly composed Scottish forces, the attrition in Britain's forces might be even more severe than what's on the drawing board.

 

 Perhaps I should include a personal comment at this point.

There are a great many arguments back and forth about Scottish independence, and frankly I have no particular dog in this fight except that I normally favor people running their own affairs.

As for the military aspect, neither an independent Scotland or what constitutes Britain's current government seem overly valuable as allies just now. But I'm absolutely in favor of the UK scrapping its nuclear deterrent. It's a bad idea to leave nuclear weapons in the hands of who may  likely be taking over in a few years.

 

Disgraceful - UK Takes Sides With Hamas Against Israel In Gaza War

 

A number of British Jews continue to wonder at the rise in Jew hatred in the UK. I can't imagine why. After all, there's a great deal of truth in that old saying that a fish rots from the head.

Israel buys a few components to defend itself from the likes of Hamas from the UK..a few parts used in the Hermes drones, a few parts used in radar systems and pilot ejector seats on Israel's planes. . There are about 12 arms export licenses involved, something like $70 million (£42 million) in exports involved since 2010, so it's small..

 

Today, British Business Secretary Vince Cable announced that Great Britain will void all 12 export licenses if hostilities with Hamas resume, whether Hamas is the aggressor or not.Essentially, the UK has picked sides in the war and is protecting Hamas, which the European Union (EU)of which the UK is a member includes on its list of terrorist groups.

  And it's not just the Conservatives. UK Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats, the Conservative Party's coalition partners made a statement  last Tuesday supporting the suspension of all arms exports to Israel.

David Cameron traveled to Israel last March in the midst of Hamas bombarding Israel to try to strengthen commercial ties with Israel in an attempt to revitalize Britain's economy, particularly in the high tech sector and was accompanied by a number of business men. While he was there he said this:

“Let me absolutely clear about these attacks from Gaza, we condemn them completely,” Cameron said. “They are a reminder once again of the importance of maintaining and securing Israel’s future and the security threats you face, and you have Britain’s support in facing those security threats.”

He also said that “these attacks are completely indiscriminate, aimed at civilian populations and that is a demonstration of how barbaric they are.

We now see what that 'support' is worth - like Cameron's word, absolutely nothing. And British Jews with eyes to see also now know exactly why the Jew hatred and Israel bashing in Britain is so endemic.

The UK supports the genocidal Hamas. It's that simple.And this pathetic attempt at blackmail of Israel  proves it

The components Britain is attempting to blackmail Israel with are easily obtainable elsewhere. But Britain's honor? Gone beyond redemption.

Three Funerals.. And The End of The Beginning

Today, three young Jewish boys were laid to rest.The bodies of Eyal Yifrach, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Frenkel, also 16 (HY"D)were buried in Modi'in in a ceremony that was attended by thousands of Israelis in what became a day of national mourning.





The bodies of the three boys, kidnapped by Hamas operatives on June 12 were found in a shallow grave near the Arab village of Halhul, just north of Hebron. According to Israeli forensic experts, they were murdered in cold blood shortly after they were kidnapped and buried hastily as their kidnappers fled. But not too hastily. As one of my sources on the scene let me know yesterday,the killers took the time first before they shoved the corpses into the hole to mutilate the boys' bodies in classic Arab fashion.Israel's Channel Two described the condition of the bodies as 'harrowing'.

This was meant to send a message to the Israelis. So was the attack on the clearly marked ambulance carrying the murdered boys' bodies to Israel to be buried, and the widespread instances of celebration of the 'victory' by Arabs living under the Palestinian Authority. and even in Israel itself.



Nor are children left untouched by this poison.They're being indoctrinated as the next generation of murderers in the name of Allah.







The message, of course, is the same one the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians have been sending ever since Yasser Arafat invented them. To them, or at least to the majority, this is a tribal war to the knife, no holds barred and none of the niceties of civilized behavior apply. They want the Jews ethnically cleansed by whatever means necessary. There is no desire for peace or real negotiation, no farcical 'two state solution' so beloved of the West and what remains of the Israeli Left. And that message is being sent out every day by Hamas, who are at least more honest about the matter and Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah, on whose official Facebook page the image immediately above this paragraph appeared.

After these murders, the message finally may be beginning to sink in with most Israelis, especially given the response from the West. After all, the Palestinians are whom they are, and their brutality is to be expected.But the civilized nations of the West?

The Israelis can't have failed to notice that for all the pro-forma condemnations from the US, the UN and the EU, the underlying message is 'so sad your children got murdered, but you ought to be used to that by now. We're still going to continue funding the new Fatah-Hamas government because they're one big happy family now, so the important thing for Israel is to exercise is restraint. Suck it up.'

To be totally honest about the matter, it is difficult for me to express adequately the way that message makes me feel...that the American government now funds and supports a genocidal group that would celebrate my murder or the murder of my loved ones just as enthusiastically as they're celebrating the murder of those three boys. Three unarmed boys murdered in cold blood, whom Wafa, the PA owned news service referred to as 'three soldiers'. I admit that I still haven't sorted out my feelings on that one, but my thoughts are far from pleasant.

President Barack Hussein Obama, the leader of the country that is supposed to be Israel's strongest ally had nothing to say at all about the matter for three weeks, and finally released a statement pretty much along these same lines once the bodies were found, perhaps because someone in the State Department reminded him it might be a good idea to say something. In contrast, that supposed cold fish, Russia's Vladimir Putin, made several calls to Israeli PM Netanyahu and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman over the newly installed Jerusalem-Moscow secure hotline during the crisis, and took the time and trouble after the bodies were found to compose a hand written letter to Netanyahu, asking him to express Putin's personal condolences to the boys' families.

Our State Department reacted in a particularly  Kafka-esque fashion. They went out of their way not to blame their new Hamas friends while admitting they were involved. And no, I'm not kidding in the least:

Encouraging restraint from both the Israeli government— livid over the finding of the bodies of the missing on Monday, vowing to exact justice on the perpetrators— and from the Palestinian leadership, some of whom are calling the trial an Israeli conspiracy, and all of whom are bracing for reprisal, State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters that the US is intimate with intelligence on the case, in part since one of the dead teenagers was American.

"Many indications" suggest the murders constitute a terrorist attack, Harf said. "I'm not saying they're responsible," she said. "But they were involved."

 Hamas involved, but of course, not responsible for what's not necessarily a terrorist attack. Got it ? Maybe it was a three way suicide. Who knows? And those rockets and mortar rounds being fired at Israel's civilians? Meteorites of course!

The Israelis have buried their dead. and now they must decide what to do..and they must make that decision realizing that any action they take will be criticized by the same usual suspects now weeping crocodile tears over three dead Jewish kids whose nation is the only one in the world considered 'illegitimate'. Israel, a nation labeled an 'occupier' without occupying, a country called 'apartheid' where Arabs have more legal and political rights than anywhere in the Middle East and a country to whom very different rules always apply when it comes to defending themselves.

If you need any further proof of that, just imagine the reaction from these same quarters if a team of Israelis had kidnapped and murdered a trio of Arab youths. Of course, in the unlikely event that happened, the families of the Israeli perpetrators wouldn't be talking about how proud they are of the killers. And the Israelis wouldn't be in the streets& ululating and celebrating about their 'victory' or teaching their children how heroic it was to murder Arab children. But flip the coin, and there's no problem with Arabs murdering Jews, bathetic rhetoric aside. There's no mention of 'collective punishment' when Arabs murder 3 Jews simply because they're Jews. At least not with the Obama team, the EU and the UN. And of course, the funding keeps coming regardless, no matter what.

Israel is by no means a perfect nation, but they are, for the most part a moral and a humane one.  And that fact is being cynically used by their enemies to destroy them, bit by bit. Israel cannot allow this to continue, not if they wish to survive as a free people in their own country.

If Israel allows this atrocity to go unanswered, if they allow this to be one more straw that hasn't broken the camel's back ( or it's heart) yet, they will simply invite more of the same.  Whether they want to acknowledge it or not, there is no two state solution no matter what John Kerry or the UN might imagine. As Yasser Arafat said long ago, either Israel or 'Palestine'  is going to survive. and that's why all of Israel's 'sacrifices for peace' all its 'goodwill gestures' , all its attempts to treat the Palestinians humanely and to bend to pressure to the point of almost breaking in half have come to nothing. And none of it means anything next to the Arab envy and lust for Jewish land and blood.

The Jews learned, or should have learned a long time ago that you can't co-exist with Amalek. The only possibility for peace is to destroy his ability to attack you utterly, to take away his bases and his weapons and drive him out if necessary, or at least mark out boundaries and let him know he approaches or tries to cross at his peril. True and lasting peace comes from victory.

Over thirty years ago, Israel, prodded by President Clinton did something no Arab country was willing to do for the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians. They gave them some land to rule themselves in, and later, they did the same thing in Gaza after iron clad assurances by the PA, the EU and the U.S that Gaza would never become a security problem for Israel. And Israel has been paying the price in blood ever since. It's time this horrible war of attrition ended. Long past time. That blood debt cries out for redemption, and that is the only language the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians will understand.

There's something symbolic about the place where these children were buried, Modi'in. It's the place where a farmer who acted as a local rabbi called Mattathias finally decided that enough was enough, refused to bow down to a Seleucid Greek pagan idol and started the Maccabee revolt in 165 CE in Judea.

 

Like the Israelis today, the Jews then were confronted by a powerful nation, a world power  pressuring them to do its will and succumb. They didn't and against all the odds they won their freedom. Modi'in was the place where it all began,and it would be fitting if today's funeral at Modi'in was the spark of a new beginning for Israel.

It will not be easy or painless, simply because the obvious has been delayed so long. Many of Israel's so-called 'friends' will scream bloody murder, but then they were never friends to begin with anyway. Others will understand,and they will count for much more in the end than those who give lip service to 'supporting Israel' but fund a genocidal group pledged to Israel's destruction.

If a nation means anything, it means that it protects its commerce,its borders and its citizens and makes attacks on them so painful and costly that its enemies think twice and forbear. It means there are certain things it simply does not take. It means that a nation and its citizens have the right to stand upright and stop living on their knees.Without that message, a nation means nothing.

And that's the message Israel has avoided since Oslo and must send now...clearly, forcefully and unmistakeably.
