California's New 'Sanctuary State ' Law

Image result for illegal aliens rally with mexican flags

The State of California is putting the finishing touches on the “California Values Act." Essentially, this is California's New 'Sanctuary State ' Law. The new law, just vetted and passed by the California Assembly Judiciary Committee would prevent state and local law enforcement from cooperating in any way with federal immigration authorities.

State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon, (D-Los Angeles), is sponsoring the state senate version of the new law, Senate Bill 54 to fight what he called the “Trump Deportation Machine.”

Back in February when he was first crafting the bill, De Leon admitted in an interview with left wing public broadcasting station KPPC that, "half my family is here illegally" and using fake IDs, a felony under California and federal law:

"I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation."

“Someone simply who received or purchased a [fraudulent] Social Security card down at MacArthur Park, or elsewhere in my district would be eligible immediately for mass deportation,”

And of course, with a fake Social security card or a fake green card, many illegal migrants can easily obtain social welfare benefits like welfare, SSI, food stamps, section 8 public housing, and MediCal, California's taxpayer funded free medical care. And of course, they can - and many do- also vote, especially since in California  it's established policy  in social welfare  departments and the state's voter registration office not to check things like immigration status too closely.

That last fact is a huge reason why De Leon and many of his fellow Democrats are going all out to protect illegal migrants from being deported. Believe me, if illegal migrants voted Republican, people like De Leon would be calling out the National Guard to conduct mass deportations, and the Border Wall would have been built a long time ago. The Democrats want the votes of this new 'constituency' and the campaign donations from donors who love the continued flow of cheap labor.

“Under constitutional threats from the reckless Trump administration, SB 54 protects state and local law enforcement and resources necessary to keep our communities safe,” De Leon said. De Leon also claimed that "Arrests of undocumented immigrants with no previous criminal record are up 150 percent since Trump became president.”

We'll explore these falsehoods in a second.

Assemblywoman Eloise Gomez Reyes chimed in, saying the measure is necessary not just for California, but for the nation. “California must send a clear message that we will remain the last line of defense against the fear-mongering and xenophobia,” Reyes said. “Rather than addressing the failure of policy, the federal solution has been to demonize our immigrant communities.”

Hmm...if these people she's talking about are 'immigrants' rather than illegal migrants,  why ever would they need fake IDs? And why would public policy in California need to have such strict measures against inquiring as to someone's immigration status? But I digress. None of these politicians seem overly concerned about ID theft, voter fraud or respecting any existing laws that conflict with their political agenda.

Back on May 25 of this year, there was a raid in which ICE agents arrested 188 illegal immigrants in Los Angeles. But according to U.S. immigration officials, total numbers of arrests of illegal immigrants are relatively flat in California and somewhat lower than during the Obama administration. So De Leon's nonsense about the 'Trump deportation machine' is simply partisan horse manure.

Oh, and his other remarks about how SB54 keeps our communities safe? Let's see how California's New 'Sanctuary State ' Law does that.

Most of the illegal migrants arrested in the May 25 raids had ties to El Salvadoran prison gangs such as MS-13, one of the most vicious and violent gangs in America. Almost 90 percent had previous criminal records for a variety of crimes including drug offenses, domestic violence, DUI, sex crimes, battery, weapons violations, assault, burglary, fraud, vehicle theft, arson, cruelty to a child, robbery, obstructing justice, property damage, larceny, escape, manslaughter, prostitution, trespassing, incest, and receipt of stolen property.

Under SB 54, none of these individuals would be transferred to ICE after serving their sentences after they were tried and convicted for these offenses. The bill specifies “serious felonies” but doesn't include almost all of the ones listed above. Instead of being turned over to ICE for deportation, these criminals would simply be released into the very communities De Leon and his cohorts claim SB 54 would 'keep safe.'

The question of the bill's legality is interesting.

SB 54 was given a a constitutional legal sign-off written by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who was paid a large sum for his analysis and is still on the State of California's payroll as it's lawyer to defend California's sanctuary policies. The state's Democrat legislators chose to pay for Holder's analysis rather than rely on one prepared by the California legislature's Legislative Council.

As Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, (R-Rocklin) pointed out, Holder announced his approval of SB 54 just one day before announcing his intention to run for president in 2020. how convenient!

So what are the actual legal precedents for California's New 'Sanctuary State ' Law?

The Constitution is pretty clear on the subject. The 10th Amendment  states that those powers not claimed by the Federal government in the Constitution "are clearly  are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Control over immigration and naturalization, like the coining of money or foreign policy are expressly given to the Federal Government.

And legislation signed, ironically by none other than President Bill Clinton in the mid-1990s bars states from creating laws that restrict communication with federal law enforcement agencies.

Now there are also two recent decisions by the Supreme Court that ruled against Federal Law superseding state laws ( New York v. United States, 505 U.S. 144 [1992] and Printz v. United States, 521 U.S. 898 (1997). Neither involved powers reserved constitutionally to the Federal government, since one involved the dumping of waste within a sovereign state's borders and the other involved a clear violation of the Second Amendment via the Brady Bill.

There are also a few judicial decisions at the lower federal level, creating precedents that the federal government cannot commandeer local law enforcement resources for the purpose of immigration enforcement. SB 54 deals with all cooperation with ICE including merely providing information on criminal illegal migrants. Do these decisions apply? The feds are not asking for the use of manpower or other resources to round up illegal migrants  but merely for basic cooperation by local law enforcement that SB 54 essentially blocks,

Given the effort, time and taxpayer dollars Democrats are willing to spend in protecting illegal migrants, even criminals from being deported, California's New 'Sanctuary State' Law will probably be headed to the Supreme Court if Governor Brown signs it and SB 54 becomes law.

Donald Trump: An Interesting Meeting And A Major Policy Speech

http://www.radionz.co.nz/assets/news_crops/15940/eight_col_068_AA_01092016_339059.jpg?1472684104

To the surprise of many people who have been listening to the talking heads and get much of their information on Donald Trump from them, Donald Trump eagerly accepted an invitation from Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto to visit him in Mexico City and discuss future relations between the two countries.

Trump went because it's the way he's always done things...if he wants to find out something, he goes to take a look at it, he asks, he learns firsthand. For President Nieto it's not such a bad idea either. Why not sound out someone who might well be the next American president, find out what kind of person he is and see what kind of common ground is possible?

In spite of media speculation of massive protests and even threats to Trump's physical safety, in the end there were only a handful of protestors and both men remarked on how well the meeting had gone. At which time UniVision's Jorge Ramos had a coronary. Pity...he was already weakened by the recent Gallup Poll showing Trump with 30% of the Hispanic vote.

Needless to say, the media didn't concentrate on the positive aspects of the speech. During a presser when Trump was asked if he and President Nieto had discussed the subject of Mexico paying for the wall Trump wants built, Trump simply said "We didn't discuss it," which could either mean it wasn't mentioned or that it was and one man or the other simply moved on to other topics.

Once he heard the press reports of course, President Nieto had to same some political face by tweeting that he told Trump that Mexico wouldn't pay for the wall. Of course that became the media headline for the usual suspects, not Trump and Nieto's positive remarks on each other and how well the meeting had gone.

Afterwards, Trump went to Phoenix, Arizona to attend a rally before a huge crowd where he took the opportunity to discuss his meeting with Nieto and lay out his immigration policy. It was an excellent speech, clear and to the point and it emphasized ways Mexico and the U.S. could work together, the common goals both countries had and exactly what Donald Trump sees as the problem with illegal migration and how he would fix it. Most of it makes excellent sense, although I wonder if he's going to be able to get Congress to go along with some of it, which means executive orders.

I particularly like his take on visa overstaying and a data base to track it (something we've needed for years),the need to vet far more carefully whom we allow into America as immigrants, zero tolerance for illegal migrants who commit crimes, persuading sanctuary cities to start actually obeying our immigration laws and actually formulating immigration policy with America's best interests as the priority.

That's pretty much exactly how high immigration targets like Australia do. There's no other way unless you're willing to dump having a welfare state entirely.

Since the media likely won't want you to pay attention to this, the entire speech is here. And it's well worth listening to:

Did Trump Flip Flop On Amnesty? Not Even Close, And Here's The Proof

 Donald-Trump-1

Much has been made about a supposed 'flip flop ' on amnesty for illegal aliens by Donald Trump.

This is sheer horse manure for the #nevertrumpers to wallow in, like they were actually going to vote for him anyway. Trump isn't remotely selling 'amnesty.' Not even close.

What Trump has always said is that he wants a priority on border control (please look up what that word 'priority' means), that he wants to enforce our current immigration laws vet who's here and establish criteria for who gets deported and who qualifies to stay with some kind of legal status. He's not saying anything different in the clip above. Ann Coulter has been right about a lot of things, but she's vastly overreacting here. I'd expect that kind of thing from the #nevertrumpers, a certain loathsome senator from Texas and the folks at places like the NRO and CNN. Let's look at what Trump actually had to say, in full. And why it matters:

The only thing Donald Trump has changed is to underline that given the neglect of this issue for a quarter century or more by Washington, we also need to allow for a certain amount of compassion in some cases and establish a procedure for that.

And here's another amazing thing about it.
This is a crowded to capacity town hall meeting on national TV. When have you ever seen a presidential candidate in living memory actually have a conversation with his audience like this? When have you seen a presidential candidate demonstrate his faith in living democracy by taking a risk of this kind, listening to his audience and actually asking them what they think, not using some carefully scripted, rehearsed questioner and rehearsed answer ala' Mrs. Clinton, but en masse,in a crowd, live, on national TV where everyone can see?

The most brilliant thing of all is the message Donald Trump is sending to his fellow Americans that they haven't heard in years from anyone in power, that what they want and what they think matters.

And this is the man some people call an authoritarian and an egoist!

Another thing Trump hasn't wavered on at all is cutting back on H1B visa abuse that allows big corporations to actually fire Americans simply to import low wage labor to take their jobs, especially in the tech sector.

Why else do you think Zuckerberg and the rest of them are so invested in a Clinton victory?

Let me,in passing, also eliminate a #nevertrump talking point. Trump has indeed hired foreign workers for his hotels during the busy seasons, but lawfully under the H2B program, which means they are allowed to work legally for a very limited period of time and then must be returned to their country of origin. H1B programs allow permanent residency.

People have been using that 11 million figure for a long time now. We are talking about, most likely, 20 to 25 million people. Deporting all of them is possible, but is it desirable? I don't think so.

A number of those people are indeed undesirable migrants. They've committed numerous crimes, they're gang members, they've taken vast advantage of our social welfare system and contribute little to America. That's what happens when you have no borders.

Then there are others, who have established roots, have lived lawfully except for the initial crime of illegally crossing the border, whom work productively, and who show every sign of wanting to be part of America. Is there any reason not to establish criteria that allows a number of those who meet it to stay with some kind of legal status?

What Trump is doing is laying the groundwork for a brand new immigration policy to replace the travesty we have now, one where illegal migration is mostly gone, where migrant's applications can be scrutinized and migrants themselves carefully vetted according to a formula and criteria developed and implemented by the admitting sovereign country, the United States. Immigration, after all, is a privilege, not a right. That is a sensible and defensible policy, especially since it involves solving the main problem...porous borders and unlimited illegal migration.

That kind of policy is exactly what high immigration target countries like Australia, New Zealand and Canada have adopted to decide who is allowed to legally migrate and who isn't. And it's a smart, sustainable one, although Canada has been a little odd lately on 'rapefugees' since that part time lefty dance instructor Trudeau took over from Stephen Harper.

Trump's policy ideas on immigration align exactly with this kind of common sense approach.

Amnesty they ain't.

Welcome To The Left's Carny Show

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6qjIv5IwRsFlu-PpTcISzNtUPKAxYgnH6dTpY5fF055wUd3gMvGvhILdujE3TXwOmCS5dmsMxykbl2jcioBUgVlykM4Sq1jCmZRW4IBdHPNxj8VgJOpFC5qs8uHU8JYMbuycGdA/s1600/Carny+Clown+and+Barker.jpg

Ever been to a real live carnival and watched the barkers lure the rubes in? The basic premise is always one of illusion, which means distracting people from reality with the promise of something special to see or the winning of a prize playing one of the 'games of chance' while taking them for as much as you can. Let's go to the carny show and have some fun, shall we?

Step right up! Here's your chance and we have some great  exhibits.

Here's exhibit number one....Donald Trump's phony charity, especially towards veterans.

He didn't raise any $6 million, and he held on to the money he did raise for too long, right? He lied! He only raised $5.6 million, including $1 million he kicked in himself.

Look over here, not at that other booth housing the Clinton Foundation exhibit.Trust me, folks, there's nothing you want to see there!

Oh, OK let's take a look anyway if you really feel you must. Aw, c'mon...do we really need to watch  what Mr. Trump and a certain Marine combat vet have to say?

Oh my...let's make sure we cut the Marine out when we show this on CNN, m'kay? Just leave in the part about him bullying a reporter and calling him a sleaze. Yeah, that's the story.

Oh and you don't want to look at this part of the Clinton exhibit either....well if you must, you must. Yeah, these are just boring figures from Form 990 charities use to report their figures. Trust me, it's...well, OK. Some guy named Don Surber put this stuff together...damned bloggers.

http://freebeacon.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/AP999317622685.jpg

The [Clinton] foundation’s latest Form 990 shows that as of December 31, 2014, Hillary and Bill and Chelsea and their hedge fund son-in-law sat on $439,505,295 in assets. That's pretty good for a "non-profit."

In 2014, they received $24,313,685 in contributions and $113,957,283 in grants, including government grants.

That $439 million in assets is 17 times larger than that $25 million hedge fund that son-in-law ran into the ground by hedging on Greek debt. That $439 million represents a hefty investment fee for some person or company lucky enough to land the account.

The foundation spent $248,221,698 in 2014:

$95,887,139 on salaries and benefits.

$20,786,529 on travel.

$17,249,876 on professional and consulting services.

$14,200,147 on conferences and events.

$14,196,240 on UNITAID commodities expense

$13,519,824 on meetings and training.

Et cetera. Oh and $33,692,599 was spent on direct program expenditures. Sure, this is all legal, but as a charity, this is not on the up and up. The Clintons used this as a way to launder foreign donations (which would be illegal if they were campaign donations) to finance her campaign in absentia.

See, I told you it was boring. It wasn't ? But hey, LOOK AT DONALD TRUMP'S FOUNDATION!

His latest Form 990 as of 2012 shows $1,259,851 in income, all from Trump. $1,712,089 in disbursements to various charities, and a total of $1,717,293, in assets. Looky at all the expenses! What's this $5,305? Oh, just the audit cost, and Trump paid for it himself based on the figures? Sounds fishy to me. Like I said, this is real news, not the stuff about the Clinton Foundation. Just forget about that, OK?

Let's go to the next exhibit...hey, the bogus Trump University! What a scandal huh? Donald Trump fleecing all those poor people, no wonder he's being sued. No, don't go back to the Clinton exhibit. You don't need to know about CGI University and the Clintons, it's nothing important. trust me. No one's interested in that. No one important, anyway.

And no, please don't go back there behind the curtain! OK, so the Trump University thing is a little exaggerated. Quiet down, let's keep this between ourselves and I'll level with you, OK?

Turns out this got started after Trump refused to donate to New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's campaign in spite of repeated 'suggestions.' It's just a coincidence, honest that Trump was slapped with a $40 million law suit by Schneiderman after that against Trump University in 2013 charging fraud. Would I lie? Now who did donate to Schneiderman were some lawyers from a law firm named Robbins, Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP.

The next step was a U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel who certified a class action suit and selected two law firms, long time Democrat bundlers and contributors and both heavy Clinton donors to find plaintiffs and represent the class action case against Trump University. The two firms were - wait for it - Robbins, Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP and Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck LLP.

Did I mention that Judge Curiel was a long time Democrat activist and an Obama appointee, one of those judges Democrat majority leader Senator Harry Reid shoved through via the nuclear option? Oh, you knew that, really?

Well, I'll tell you, once those lawyers started trolling for plaintiffs, a whole crowd of folks responded wanting to be part of the suit. OK, OK, gimmee a break, so yeah, it was only six plaintiffs, and the judge allowed three of them to withdraw from the class action after they panicked and realized that rather than the easy payday the lawyers told them about they could be liable for costs instead.

The main plaintiff, a yoga instructor named Tarla Makaeff wanted out as well, and believe it or not, Judge Curiel has ruled that after six years of litigation, she can leave because the judge says her deposition for her lawyers is sufficient for Trump's lawyers to defend the case ...no cross examination, no deposition by Trump's attorneys, no nothing.

But let's move on, because here's our main exhibit - Donald Trump the bigot!

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4nv6ol2z-TSwU35cOVN0Lb99aFGqyyTnro-qj4j-uB7CYu_1bKhkVk8QBXHLsMgVEb9X7QYzWWpj2K9gxSP_Cq84oamzzMaUOUmriJeGSmCldiURl22NwPMK45a3MXRugJVkK/s1600/Adolph_Trump.png

Oh Yeah! How dare he insinuate that Judge Curiel might not give him a fair trial just because of the judges ethnicity! All the judge did was to rule that a plaintiff Trump's lawyers have built their case on need not be deposed or cross examined by them, and to unilaterally decide to unseal court documents 'by mistake' without redacting them for personal information at the request of The Washington Post, including plaintiff accusations against Trump University.

Everybody knows how impartial judges are, right? OK, this judge has made a few errors that would probably lead to a reversal on appeal of any verdict he delivers, but we're all only human, aren't we?

Oh, the La Raza thing. You heard about that huh? Well you know, it's just a civil rights group. In Spanish, it means 'the people' that's all.

Oh you ummm, speak Spanish. And you say 'the people' in Spanish would be 'la gente' or 'el pueblo' which means literally the town, and is also used to mean 'the community.' OK, so La Raza means the race. So what?

OK,OK...so it's not a civil rights group, not really. So maybe Judge Curiel, aside from being a very leftist Democrat is a long time pro-Amnesty and pro open borders activist. That doesn't mean he isn't impartial. What difference does that make. Just look at Judge Vaughn Walker in California on same sex marriage. Wasn't he impar...bad example, forget I said that.

But look at Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, remember how she said that a wise Latina would...better forget about that one too.

So what you're telling me essentially is this...that what Donald Trump is saying is that Judge Curiel is likely to be biased against him and not treat him fairly because the judge is a rabid, partisan Democrat and Trump is the Republican nominee in an election year? And because the judge is very leftist Latino who is against border control and an end to illegal migration? Is that it?

Who ever heard of such a crackpot idea? That's crazy talk!

You know, you really annoy me. We spent a lot of time and money putting this show together and you go and ruin it for everybody. Get out and don't come back.

No refunds either, read the sign. Racists!

Trump's The Nominee And Mexico Changes Its Tune About That Wall

Remember this, from former Mexican president Vicente Fox?

Well, now that Donald Trump has won the GOP nomination things have changed. The Washington Examiner is reporting that Vicente Fox agreed Wednesday night with Fox News host Megyn Kelly that the U.S. and Mexico could work together on an effective border fence.

Fox's attitude now, as he told Kelly,is that he believes the U.S. and Mexico could partner up to install a wall on the 2,000-mile southern border.

Of course, Vicente Fox repeatedly tried to shill for the amnesty legislation passed by the senate before any action on a wall, but Kelly responded to Fox by telling him voters have made it very clear this election season that a wall must come before anything else.

F-bombs were conspicuously absent. So was Fox's usual screed about how Trump is Hitler.

Mexico has finally realized Trump isn't Obama, and he's serious. The wall's going up all right, and Mexico is definitely going to pay for at least a significant chunk of it.

I predict that as Trump gets closer to the presidency, you're going to see a lot more about faces like this.

Who's The Real Christian?

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02526/popefrancis_2526185b.jpg

Pope Francis has made a crusade of his quest to weaken the Catholic Church and the West with demands that illegal migrants and Muslim 'refugees' be accepted into western countries. Today, he singled out presidential candidate Donald Trump for special criticism, saying that if Trump planned to build a wall to protect America's southern border, he is "not Christian" according to the Associated Press.

Trump's response? Classic:

So here we have a presidential candidate actually promising to defend Christians, something Pope Francis has never actively done during his tenure as Pope... and this pontiff attacks him??

It's also worth nothing that not only has Trump repeatedly made the point that he favors legal immigration, but that most of the Republican candidates - Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, even John Kasich - at least favor increased border security, thus proving Trump's claim that this pope is being manipulated specifically against him. Given the billions of US dollars that flow across the border in the form of cash from expatriate Mexicans legal and non-legal, the Mexican government obviously has an interest in the status quo.

And so does the Catholic Church. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the media was how much money the Church is getting from the Obama administration to' process' all these illegal aliens...a cool $9 million in addition to millions of dollars in existing grants and additional funds given by the Obama regime to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Charities, and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network.

And as far as Muslim 'refugees,' here's something else that didn't make the headlines...the U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops is meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood front group the Islamic Society Of North America
(ISNA)and other similar organizations in a whole series of 'interfaith dialogues' entitled 'A common word between us.'

Having read the Qu'ran, that title immediately caught my attention, but I'll let Islamic scholar Robert Spencer tell it:

What do you think is the goal of such groups in engaging in “dialogue” with Catholic bishops? The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ 2014 statement on “dialogue” quotes the 2007 document sent to the Pope and other Christian leaders, A Common Word Between Us and You. It is likely that not a single one of the bishops was ever curious about where the phrase “a common word between us and you comes from beyond the Qur’an citation provided in that document’s epigraph. If they had looked it up in the Qur’an, they would have found that the full passage is not a call for mutual understanding and mutual respect; rather, it is an exhortation to Christians to convert to Islam: “Say: ‘People of the Book! Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but Allah, and that we associate no others with Him, and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from Allah.’ And if they turn their backs, say: ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims’” (3:64). Since Muslims consider the Christian confession of the divinity of Christ to be an unacceptable association of a partner with God, this verse is saying that the “common word” that Muslims and the People of the Book should agree on is that Christians should discard one of the central tenets of their faith and essentially become Muslims.

For groups such as ICNA and ISNA, that is almost certainly what the “dialogue” is all about, along with compelling Catholic leaders to remain silent about Muslim persecution of Christians, as when Robert McManus, Roman Catholic Bishop of Worcester, Massachusetts, suppressed a planned talk at a Catholic conference on that persecution, explaining: “Talk about extreme, militant Islamists and the atrocities that they have perpetrated globally might undercut the positive achievements that we Catholics have attained in our inter-religious dialogue with devout Muslims.” Evil works under the cover of darkness, and McManus, drunk on “dialogue,” was happy to supply that cover.

But the typical modern Catholic bishop, coddled, cosseted, regal, arrogant, authoritarian, ignorant, self-infatuated, and utterly devoid of charity, will never deign to acknowledge any of this. They are blind guides.

Blind guides is being charitable. Although to be fair these bishops are simply following like sheep in the path of dhimmitude set for them by the last two popes, Benedict and Francis. Neither of these popes ever did or have done anything to protect the Middle East's Christians from what amounts to genocide, or urged the Western nations to take them in as refugees or protect them in any way. Instead, they're willing to turn a blind eye and participate in the process of bringing in Muslims to America for their own Thirty Pieces of Silver.

And this Pope has the nerve to say that Donald Trump is not a Christian? Tell me, who's the real Christian? Who's pledging to defending them and their faith and who's essentially ignoring their terrible plight and selling them out?

As a parting note, I should say that Pope Francis actually does approve of border walls and strict immigration policies...for himself and the Vatican:

The Vatican, for its part, welcomes millions of visitors a year — but allows only a very select few, who meet strict criteria, to be admitted as residents or citizens.

Only about 450 of its 800 or so residents actually hold citizenship, according to a 2012 study by the Library of Congress. That study said citizens are either church cardinals who reside in the Vatican, the Holy See’s diplomats around the world, and those who have to reside in the city because of their jobs, such as the Swiss Guard.

Spouses and children who live in the city because of their relationship with citizens — including the Swiss Guard and workers such as the gardener — have also been granted citizenship. But that means few of the Vatican’s citizens are women.

A Vatican spokesman did not return an email seeking comment on its policy.

Just like most Marxists, Pope Francis is a major hypocrite.

Exactly What's Wrong With Hillary Clinton Endorsing Driver's Licenses For Illegals

 http://downtrend.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Hillary.jpg

Huff Post is all agog that Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton 'avoided her slip up in the 2008 race' by heartily endorsing issuing driver's licenses to illegal aliens.

The story comes right off the template of Left wing advocacy 'journalism' complete with citing a sympathetic Latino victim whose driver's license 'changed his life immeasurably.'

As she makes her second bid for the presidency, Clinton's position is far clearer and decidedly different. "Hillary supports state policies to provide driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants," a campaign spokesperson told The Huffington Post.

The driver's license issue is still politically fraught. Demographic changes that have made the Latino vote more important have helped shift the scales. But most Americans don't agree with the policy, according to a HuffPost/YouGov poll conducted this month. The survey found that 64 percent oppose driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants, while 26 percent support the idea. Democrats are split, with 43 percent in favor and 46 percent against. Eighty-one percent of Republicans oppose allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's license

The article continues, citing the usual happy talk about how licenses for illegal aliens make them more apt to buy insurance and to report accidents, and improve public safety.

That said, let's look at the reality.

The majority of illegal aliens are not exactly rolling in money, even though a significant number of them receive government benefits while working off the books for cash at jobs like construction, gardening, and other service jobs. And some areas with high illegal alien populations like California are expensive places to live. So many of them tend to drive older vehicles.

While obtaining insurance is mandatory in California, many of the vehicles they drive are of low enough value that it makes more sense for them not to obtain insurance and pay the premium. If there's a wreck they're involved with, many times it's easier and less costly for them to just take off and or abandon the vehicle, especially if the vehicle is not registered with the DMV, which many times they aren't. The reasoning for many of these folks is 'why spend the money?'

Put yourself in their position. Would you pay a couple of thousand you didn't have for insurance when if anything bad happens, you can simply move on and get another car? And if you do happen to screw up and get cited for driving without insurance or get some inconvenient traffic tickets, why worry when getting a new license is just as easy as getting a new car?

You see, in many cases like that, a license makes no difference, especially given the reality of how they're obtained.

In places like California, matricular consular cards issued by the numerous Mexican consulates are accepted as sufficient ID to obtain a driver's license. For the going rate of $50-100 cash in hand to the right clerk, you can get one in any name you want with any address you give them, no questions asked...not to mention they're dead easy to forge.

So there's no problem, especially if a made up name is on the license. Easy to get another matricular consular card and a new license if you want one and just go buy another clunker.

And many times, that's exactly what happens, which is why most drivers with any sense whom aren't illegal aliens spend a chunk of money for uninsured motorist coverage.

My own case is an excellent example. I was rear ended while stopped in traffic by an illegal alien driving 60 MPH on a city street where the limit was 30 MPH. The car itself, an old VW was simply left there, and as it turned out it was borrowed from someone else, supposedly without their knowledge. They, of course had no insurance either, but told the police that the driver simply took off and of course they had no idea where he was.

I ended up being stuck having to wrestle with my insurance company over a settlement on my totaled car and having to deal with the trouble and expense of getting new wheels.

Of course, what Mrs. Clinton and the politicos backing this for Hispanic votes are considering has noting to do with vehicle safety at all.

There's a federal law that says that any driver's licenses given to anyone whose status in America is not legal has to be clearly differentiated from other driver's licenses. In California and a few other states, they aren't. Not only that, but illegal aliens who are getting driver's licenses are now appearing on the voter rolls, since they can register, citizen or not by simply checking a box.

Since California has no voter ID law, voter fraud using illegal aliens has been a factor since the 1980's but this makes it a real piece of cake.In California alone, over 500,000 illegal aliens and counting have already  obtained licenses.

And by the way, don't think it's just illegal aliens who know how to work this. People who have ideas about staging terrorist attacks on what they see as the Great Satan know all about it too. Not that I'd expect Mrs. Clinton and her friends to be overly concerned, not when there's an election to be won...

Yes, I can certainly see why someone like Hillary would go ga ga over this blatantly illegal activity, but that doesn't make it right or healthy.

Judge Throws Out Arizona Immigration Suit Against Obama

 http://www.pressherald.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/558612_Immigration-Arizona-Sheriff.jpg

A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed against President Barack Hussein Obama's amnesty order on the grounds it was unconstitutional and bypassed congress:

Judge Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia denied the demand by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for a preliminary injunction to halt the policies. {...}

Arpaio's lawsuit said the reforms, which eased the threat of deportation for about 4.7 million undocumented immigrants, amounted to an amnesty and would encourage more people to cross the border illegally.

Beryl's 33-page decision said Arpaio did not meet the legal requirements to qualify as a person of standing in bringing the case on constitutional grounds

Oh, and Judge Howell? She's a loyal apparatchnik,  was one of the radical judges shoved through by President Obama to the DC Circuit Court using Majority Leader Harry Reid's nuclear option. A look at her background shows all the signs of a radical 'progressive,' which of course is why she was appointed in the first place.

I'm certain Judge Howell was totally unbiased and based her ruling strictly on the legal facts of the case and not her personal politics, aren't you?

Actually, she didn't rule on the legal facts of the case. She denied the injunction on the grounds that the top law enforcement official in an Arizona border county heavily affected by illegal migration 'had no standing.'

No, according to this judge in spite of his sworn duty to uphold the law and protect the citizens of Maricopa County, Sheriff Arpaio had no right to go to the courts and seek an injunction to stop policies that are directly impacting his ability to do so.

That's pretty much what we've come to.Justice is just whatever the Left says it is..and subject to change whenever it suits their agenda.

GOP Caves - Spending Bill Includes Nearly $1 Billion For Illegal Migrants

http://cdn01.dailycaller.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/2014-12-04T170510Z_1_LYNXNPEAB30U9_RTROPTP_4_USA-CONGRESS-SHUTDOWN-e1418129691622.jpg

After America gave the GOP a landslide victory, the Republican leadership is repaying them with what amounts to a total surrender to President Obama's amnesty by diktat.

The new GOP draft 2015 “omnibus” spending bill includes $948 million designated to aid poor and unskilled Central American illegal migrants establish themselves so they can stay in the United States. And there are no restrictions whatsoever on the president's plan to give work permits and other benefits to millions of illegal migrants. Nor is the bill prohibiting the Department of Homeland Security from spending money to implement President Obama's amnesty:

Instead, the leadership, led by House Speaker John Boehner, drafted a bill imposing a 60-day spending limit for Obama’s immigration agencies.

The planned 60-day spending limit is largely symbolic, because the most important immigration agency can operate on fees paid by the illegals.

“Leadership is basically giving in to every facet of Obama’s amnesty. We’re giving up an astonishing amount of leverage on every issue imaginable,” said one Hill aide.

The struggle between Boehner’s business wing and the populist conservative wing, has received little coverage in the established media, even though GOP legislators are calling for the public to protest their leadership’s policies.

Not only does the president's new executive order pretty much make enforcement of our immigration laws irrelevant, it creates new opportunities and encouragement for a brand new surge of illegal migrants to cross the border, expected to start in the summer of 2015.

And why not? Their chances of being allowed to stay have never been better. In 2014, Obama’s agencies accepted something like 56,000 Central American minors, providing them with health screenings and air transport to parents and family members throughout the United States.

The Obama Administration is also spending at least $7 million to provide free lawyers to the migrants so they can win court cases to remain in the United States. Only 1,901 were sent home by October 31st.

If the Republican leadership thinks that they're going to be able to indulge in this kind of treachery to please the Chamber of Commerce and their wealthy donors and still win elections, they're even stupider than I thought. This goes beyond mere politics..it's bad for the country and sets a horrible precedent.

Watch how quickly their majority disappears in 2016, especially if they nominate some RINO like Jeb Bush. The base will stay home, the majority of Latinos whom vote will vote for Hillary or whatever other Democrat promises them more gimmees and the GOP will likely have participated in its last election as a new party forms.

Here's hoping enough Republicans get this to kick Boehner and McConnell out and get new leadership, before they wind up being destroyed as a political entity.

Strangling the Eagle - Barack Obama And Amnesty, Part I

https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2523/4005104346_ba87646f1f.jpg

President Obama  has now presented his amnesty by executive order to the country. Oddly enough, he appeared to want much of the country not to know exactly what he said. None of the alphabet networks covered this important speech, strange considering wall to wall coverage of the lame gibberish issuing out of this White House on other occasions.

The networks say that the White House never asked officially asked them for broadcast time for the speech. FOX wanted to broadcast it live according to one of my sources, but was told arrangements 'could not be made in time.'

The White House likely told their media allies they didn't want this one broadcast, which also explains why FOX was denied access.

But Spanish only networks Telemundo and Univision were certainly allowed to broadcast it. It's obvious which audience President Obama was targeting and whom he would rather wasn't paying too much attention.

Let's dissect what the President had to say and what it really means.

He started out, of course, by blaming the GOP dominated House for failing to pass a deeply flawed bill that managed to squeak by in the senate some time ago, thanks to the wily Chuck Schumer playing a naive Marco Rubio like Jimi Hendrix used to play a Stratocaster. The president of course neglected to mention that all the House wanted was to meet with the Senate to effect what's called reconciliation, where both houses of congress meet and hammer out a version of legislation they can both support. After that, the House and Senate vote on the changes and the bill goes to the president for his signature.

This is standard operating procedure in congress. Guess who stopped it? None other than Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, who refused to have a reconciliation meeting with the House and demanded they pass the bill as is. When they wouldn't, it was Harry Reid who shelved it on the orders of President Obama. As usual, nothing is ever the president's fault He simply blamed other people for his failure, just like always.

The president also predictably failed to mention another reason legislation has consistently failed - because of his previous track record of ignoring laws he doesn't like, no one trusts him or his corrupt Attorney General Eric Holder to enforce any provision on border security. They haven't done so with present existing law and there's no doubt they would do the same thing with any new legislation.

That said, what does the president's new executive order actually consist of?

There are some throwaway paragraphs about border security, and about hiring a few more border patrol agents. Based on what they've been facing lately and what  border patrol agents are saying right now, I doubt few people want the job even if he attempts to follow through on it, which is doubtful.

The president also claims he will make it "easier and faster for high-skilled immigrants, graduates and entrepreneurs' to avoid deportation." In other words, the small percentage of illegal migrants who have tech skills will now be able to work legally for the likes of Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg for a fraction of what he has to pay legal citizens, thus keeping wages in that segment of the economy low as a payback for all those campaign contributions.

http://im.rediff.com/money/2011/apr/21slde1.jpg

Of course the biggest impact of the president's executive order is the one that affects the vast amount of illegal migrants whom don't really fall into the skilled category , and he left those for for last.

And before we examine this in detail, let's remember... President Obama's intention here is not 'humanitarian' but purely political. This is the new class of government dependent Democrat voters he wishes to create, and his way of deliberately signaling to the new congress that he has no intention of cooperating with them on anything.

What he said is that if illegal migrants have been in America more than five years, if they have children who are American citizens or illegal residents. If they register, pass a criminal background check and are willing to pay their fair share of taxes, they won't be deported.

Note the parts I emphasized.

First of all, it is going to be next to impossible to determine how long many illegal migrants has been in America assuming ICE even attempts to do so,  doubtful given this president's track record. As usual, this president and his minions think everyone's stupid except themselves. Any illegal migrant with the least bit of savvy can find someone in one of the numerous Mexican consulates willing to crank out a matricula consular card with any name and dates the applicant wants for cash under the table. The going rate right now is about $75 - $100..not to mention that the cards themselves are very easily forged.

And aside from that, does anyone really think that your average illegal migrant won't be able to find people willing to swear he or she has been in the country five years? Or that ICE won't accept that as 'proof' given the president's political interest in keeping all of them here?

The next criteria, freeing from deportation those who have children who are American citizens or those who have children who are illegal migrants is even more of a giveaway.  Anyone who’s at all aware of America's immigration policies knows that having a child who is an American citizen is a sure ticket to getting a green card and the accompanying social welfare benefits. Many potential illegal migrants know it, which is why many illegal migrants whom are pregnant strive to have the child born on American soil. The United States, remember, is one of the only countries that still has birthright citizenship and the newborn baby can in effect legalize the whole family. But the second category, 'those who have children who are illegal migrants' is the real stinger. What this president has done is to essentially extend blanket amnesty even to those who have children who didn't manage to get birthright citizenship by being born here.

After all, if they're legal citizens who happen to have a child who's an illegal migrant, there’s no worry about deportation and the child can get citizenship through normal legal channels. No, this little provision is designed to cover a lot more illegal migrants than the 5 million or so we're being told. And the president is also signalling that the recent rush of illegal migrants from Central America are going to be allowed to stay..and to import their parents and other family members.

That of course ranks the president's statement that "This deal does not apply to anyone who has come to this country recently" up with " If you like your health plan, you can keep it" as one of the more egregious lies he has ever told the American people. And that's a pretty high bar.

I think many American are already aware of the fact that a lot of illegal migrants whom have committed serious crimes are being allowed to stay, and that the Obama Administration lied about it. It's unlikely that they're going to be deported under the president's new executive order, which shows you how much you can believe the president when he talks about "focusing enforcement resources on actual threats to our security. Felons, not families."

And taxes? Many illegal aliens already file tax returns. And why not? For many of them, it's quite profitable.

The president claimed this isn't amnesty, merely freedom from deportation. And that this isn't citizenship or the right to stay here permanently, or access to the same benefits that citizens receive.

Aside from the benefits issue (anyone who knows anything about current law knows that illegal migrants will have full access to social welfare benefits, including ObamaCare), I give it a year at most before you hear the Democrats calling for a pathway to citizenship - and of course, voting rights - for the illegal migrants. That's the plan, guaranteed.

The president finished his remarks with his usual touch of cherry picking an example, appealing to America's natural generosity. He even attempted to quote Scripture, citing a passage in Exodus about oppressing a stranger. Of course, even that was bogus. The ancient Hebrews were invited to settle in Egypt as actual immigrants (Genesis 46-48) because of a famine in the land of Canaan, back when Joseph was the Pharaoh's Chief Minister. It was only after a new Pharaoh ascended 'who knew not Joseph' that the Hebrews were enslaved and oppressed (Exodus 1:8). And the actual passage in the Hebrew, of course, refers not to illegal migrants but to a ger, a convert to Judaism.

Here are a few things for those who think that President Obama did something wonderful here to ponder:

If this was done 'out of compassion,' or because, as he claims,  the evil Republicans wouldn't give him what he wanted, why didn't he do it in the first two years of his term, when he had a veto-proof majority in the house and senate? Wasn't this important enough then ?

For years, this president has been telling Hispanics whom wanted this amnesty that he was simply unable to accommodate them, that he was not a king or a dictator, that he was unable to do what in fact he just did. How does it make you feel to have been cynically lied to all this time? Does it make you wonder what else President Obama has been lying to you about?

If you're black or Latino citizen making say, $40,000 or so as a delivery driver, a caregiver, a construction worker, a clerical or healthcare worker, are you aware that as this amnesty develops, you're now going to have to compete for your job with people willing to work for less, willing to take part time employment, willing to take less benefits and and poorer working conditions? Do you like the idea that it's going to be you dealing with rising rents for affordable housing, higher taxes, longer waits for medical care and other social services, and schools that become even more dysfunctional as they struggle to handle children whom aren't even literate in their own language?

If you'd like to see actual legislation dealing with immigration,do you think this president's disrespect for the incoming congress and the separation of powers makes that more likely or less likely? Do you like the idea of a president just disregarding laws like this? And if you do, are you at all worried about the precedent this sets if there's a different president in the White House?

The amnesty for illegal migrants the president has planned has nothing to do with 'compassion' nothing to dow ith the good of the country. Barack Hussein Obama is literally strangling the Eagle for what goes beyond even normal partisan political gain...his way of 'transforming' a country he secretly despises into something very different than the democratic republic our Founders envisioned and created.

Having failed to completely crush America's innate spirit and having had his persona andhis failed policies repudiated, he has simply decided to import enough people whom he feels he can manipulate... to transform the electorate to his liking.

Aside from the constitutional issues, what the president has done will encourage further illegal migration, cripple already struggling school districts, substantially raise the prices on affordable housing, raise taxes, depress wages increase unemployment and saddle America with huge social welfare costs in a stagnant economy. That cost, by the way is estimated at $2 trillion dollars by Robert Rector, the Heritage Foundation's expert on these matters, which I think is conservative since Rector is only calculating on the basis of four million illegal migrants, seems to be discounting the effect of chain migration and the influx of new illegal migrants and is only calculating for Social Security and Medicare.

So can this be stopped? Of course it can.I'll tell you how in Part II.

Amnesty - What The President Can And Can't Get Away With

 http://www.bookwormroom.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/obama-angry.jpg

President Obama has announced that he intends to halt deportations by executive order for an estimated 5 million illegal migrants in America. Given our family unification policies, you can probably triple that number in real life.

The president had dinner with Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the leaders of the congressional Asian, Black and Hispanic caucuses to discuss his plans which he will anounce publicly tomorrow. No Republicans, of course, were invited.

Off topic: Don't be surprised if the Ferguson verdict is announced tommorrow as well, to distract the public.

He is doing this  now, before December 12th when the new budget measure will need to be passed with the idea of deliberately antagonizing Republicans in hopes they will shut down the government. There's absolutely no better way to poison the well and torpedo any hopes of cooperation between congress and the White House than this juvenile  nonsense. The American people are decisively  against it, even  many members of his own party, which is why he delayed this until after the midterms.

Reportedly, the illegal migrants this president is going to free from any deportations will be exempt from using ObamaCare.  That, of course is another flat out, deliberate lie. The first illegal migrant who takes this to court will win easily because legally  they are eligible for all public benefits, including welfare.

Cooperation and compromise is not is his vocabulary, and this tantrum over the repudiation of his policies by the electorate is just the start.

This sort of action by executive diktat is bad policy, sets a horrendous precedent, and makes absolutely no sense in terms of governing the country  in partnership with congress. It is a cynical and hateful politicalploy at the expense of the American  people.

That said, can he get away with it? It all depends on what you mean.

The latest fairy tale  the Professional left is putting out there is that former Republican presidents Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush did the same thing. That isn't true, and explaining why that's so illustrates how uniquely awful what President Obama has planned  actually is.

President Ronald Reagan's amnesty for illegal aliens involved consulting and negotiating with congress, notably Democrat Senator  Ted Kennedy. Reagan foolishly agreed to it because he trusted Kennedy's word that other portions of the legislation that called for border enforcement would be honored. Of course, they never were.

In 1987, the Reagan administration took executive action to halt  deportations for 200,000 Nicaraguans whom had fled from the Sandinistas. This was also done with the cooperation and input of congress in an obvious political asylum situation.

The same thing is true of President Bush '41's 1990 halt of deportations of Chinese students during the Tian An Min Square protests and his 1991 freeze on  Kuwaitis being deported to their home country after the Iraqi invasion. Congress was in the loop in both cases from day one. And additionally, Bush's halt of deportations in both these cases was intended to be temporary. The relatively small number of people this affected, mostly students, were almost all  repatriated back to their home countries once the political situation changed.

What President Obama is planning, aside from being done without any attempt to involve congress involves huge numbers compared to any of the actions by Bush or Reagan. And it is intended to be permanent.

What this president is planning is known legally as 'prosecutorial discretion,'  and yes, it is entirely legal and has been recognized by the Supreme Court on a number of occasions. So President Obama can legally say that he is exempting 5 million illegal migrants from deportation. In fact, this is pretty much a formal declaration of wht he and his administration have been doing anyway for years. It's ridiculously easy to see where this differs from what Presidents Reagan and Bush did, not to mention the numbers involved.

Here's what the president can't do. While he can exempt people from deportation, he has no authority whatsoever to give them green cards, social security cards or a 'path to citizenship.'  They still maintain their status as illegal migrants, but are simply not subject to prosecution and deportation as long as President Obama is in office.

They cannot import family members, they cannot work legally ( although this will likely be winked at in most states where illegal migrants live), and they cannot vote legally. That's the law, and that's what the Constitution says. That's why Reagan's amnesty for illegal aliens needed to be legislated, while his executive action to halt  deportations for Nicaraguans did not, although in that case Reagan sought and obtained the cooperation and input of congress.

So, what can Congress do?

They can, of course, shut down the government which is exactly what President Obama is hoping. That's one way to do things, but it might be more effective to operate selectively and use the power of the purse. For instance, congress has the authority (and the numbers, come January) to cut off funds for the president's $3 billion global warming slush fund. They can avoid funding anything concerned with this planned amnesty, and they can reverse it in January of 2017 and start   deporting these same people again if they wish provided the Republican either take the White House and/or garner a veto proof majority, which might easily happen given how unpopular this is. In fact, because this will ignite fury in most Americans, there may even be enough Democrats interested in saving their own hides to join with Republicans in quashing this. The GOP can even campaign on reversing this in 2016 if they like.

By the way, the latest fairy tale you're being told is that this can't be defunded because it operates out of fees rather than congressional appropriations. It is a real mark of how stupid our elites think the peasants are that they would even try this one.

No government department is in business for themselves. Any and all monies they collect are the property of the United States government and the Constitution clearly gives congress the power to decide what to do with it. Your local cops may collect revenue for your city from parking fees and speeding tickets, and your building and safety department may collect inspection fees, but the money doesn't belong to them. Your city or town council, the legislative branch decides who gets what and how much. The Federal government works exactly the same way.Congress can withhold every dime from the president's new program.

Congress can also  refuse to confirm any of President Obama's nominees, especially judges. The Democrats, after all, did that to a lot of George W. Bush's nominees for no good reason once they took over in 2007. The GOP  can even say, truthfully,  that since President Obama showed blatantly that he had no intention of cooperating with congress, they're simply returning the favor. They can submit common sense legislation that forces him to use his veto pen and shows whom the real obstructionists in congress are. They can tie his hands at every turn, and honestly say that until he reverses himself, that's simply how things are going to be. This can apply to ObamaCare as well, since the president has said he will never sign any legislation repealing or changing it in any way.

Congress can even halt the president's discretionary funds. No more fundraisers on the taxpayer's dime, no more taxpayer funded lavish parties or vacations, no more greens fees for those golf games he loves so much and major limitations to the White House staff for him and the First Lady. Perhaps Mooch-elle can make the president one of her famous lunches from time to time. Or he can foot the bill for a cook if he wants one.And his groceries.

 http://static1.businessinsider.com/image/53440a1e69bedd0f39d99210/students-are-tweeting-awful-photos-of-school-lunches-to-blame-michelle-obama-for-new-healthier-meals.jpg

And of course, the ultimate response is for both houses of congress to forget about silly things like lawsuits and  hire a special prosecutor to investigate a number of things this president has been involved in that are flagrantly illegal, with the idea of bringing articles of impeachment to the House for a vote.

That's where this is ultimately going anyway.

Law Passed To Criminalize Any Criticism Of Immigration

http://www.kefferbarnhart.com/images/arrest1.jpg

No, I'm not kidding.

A new law has been passed that will allow people to be criminally prosecuted for criticizing immigration policies or politicians that support them. It will come into effect in December, 2014.

it is designed to be a deterrent to anyone who criticizes the governments' policies towards immigration or amnesty and shut down all debate over the issue. This gross violation of freedom of speech has already been passed. But there is one small detail that mitigates this a bit.

http://cdn.frontpagemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/amnesty.jpg

This new law was passed in Sweden, not the United States. At least, not yet.

Sweden's new Left wing coalition government was elected by a narrow margin and lost no time in pushing through something designed to keep them in power permanently with votes from Muslim immigrants, no matter what it does to the country. And now, they have the power to use the police power of the state to silence anyone who dissents.

Andreas Norlen, a member of Sweden's parliament was a prime mover behind getting this new law passed.

"I do not think it takes many prosecutions before a signal is transmitted in the community that the Internet is not a lawless country and the sheriff is back in town."

Spoken like a true progfascist.Anyone who doesn't keep his mouth shut while Sweden becomes a very different country is headed for jail.

Here's why this matters.

We will almost certainly be faced with a similar attempt by President Obama to implement amnesty by executive order after the midterms. There will be absolutely no chance of reversing this unless the Republicans take the Senate.

There are a great many people who basically could care less whether this happens and aren't planning to vote in the midterms. believe me, I understand that attitude completely, seeing how the party elites have essentially made war on the GOP's base. But this is too important.

The Democrats view amnesty as their chance to change the electorate and the country forever, an if that happens we could very well see a law like Sweden's passed as the Democrats take over congress with the help of their new 'voters'.

I hear what you're saying - the GOP establishment has largely been compliant and bent over for Big Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in backing 'immigration reform.' But at least with a Republican House and Senate, there's a chance of stopping this or at least mitigating it to the point where it's semi-manageable. With Democrats in control of either house, there isn't.

It really is that simple. Vote, dammit!

Scenes From A Country With No Borders 10/03/14

 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0f/Protests.jpg/220px-Protests.jpg

The amnesty for illegal aliens lobby - oh, pardon, 'immigration activists' has gone far beyond merely asking for anything. This is no longer our country but theirs, you see, and they have demands that must be met - or else.

 http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/image_content_width/hash/2f/73/2f7379962cd641c215152aa8103421d7.jpg?itok=6WaVmOjl

Rep. Louis Gutierrez (D-IL), one of the radical members of the lobby made that plain in a meeting of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus last Wednesday.

"Imagine for a moment the president of the United States makes an announcement. We figure out who the 5 million, 6 million people are. We get ready to register them [to vote] and the Republican majority decides they will obstruct the process. They will be the end of the Republican Party as a national party in the United States of America, because then it won’t be that the Democrats didn’t act and that the Republicans didn’t act. It will be the last act."

"This is a concrete example of justice for a community of people that we love and cherish and will defend. I’m ready for the president to act. And let me tell you something. Whoever attacks the decision of the president to bring justice and fairness to millions of undocumented immigrants and allow them to have justice in this country, I’m ready for that fight and I’m ready to join everybody in this room in winning that fight."

That sounds very much like 'no justice no peace', a threat to riot if President Obama's promise to break established law isn't fulfilled and there is no amnesty for illegal aliens...from a sitting congressman who swore an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same."

How would you rate Rep. Gutierrez's 'true faith and allegiance' to the Constitution and our laws?

That aside, Gutierrez's threat to Republicans has no basis in reality, as I've pointed out before.

If Republicans in congress knuckle under and allow this blatantly illegal action to happen, they will become a permanent minority party if they even continue to exist at all. Aside from the effect of 5 or 6 million additional voters ( a number you can double once chain migration is accounted for), many of whom don't speak English and are easily manipulated by demagogues like Gutierrez, they will lose most of the 2/3 of the Hispanic vote that's currently up for grabs and their party's base, which will never vote Republican again but seek to develop a new political party.

President Obama, for his part seems entirely ready to deliver. And why not? It doesn't matter that Americans overwhelmingly oppose amnesty by better than 2 to 1. It doesn't matter that we have almost one hundred million Americans who have given up looking for work and are no longer in the labor force, a record number. It doesn't matter that 3 million people who are trying to enter America legally are being done an injustice. It doesn't matter that schools will struggle to maintain our already poor levels of public education to accommodate the influx of illegal aliens, many of whom are not even literate in Spanish let alone English. Or that diseases are coming to America unimpeded that we've never seen before or that were eradicated in this country decades ago.

What matters to President Obama and his party is pure politics. This is about changing the electorate to stay in power and turning America into something very different than our founders intended.

http://contextlysiteimages.contextly.com/thumbnails/fusiondotnetwordpress/2115441/220x125.jpg

At a dinner last night with the aforementioned Hispanic Congressional Congress, President Obama promised an executive order granting amnesty between the midterm elections and the year's end.

“This is not a question of if, but when,” he said.

He also boasted about riding over to the dinner with two CHCI (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) interns whom he called 'Dreamers' because they are two of the illegal aliens brought to America as children the president already has given amnesty to by executive order.

The president also said that he needed Hispanics to 'have his back' and to get out the vote for Democrats.

The president finished by leading a chant of “Sí se puede, si votamos" ('yes we can, if we vote).

What, you thought this was about anything else but partisan politics?

Governor Brown And Mexico's President Nieto Make Mexifornia Official

According to California's Governor Jerry Brown, it doesn't matter if you're an illegal alien, you're more than welcome in California.

The governor, who made the remarks when introducing Mexico's Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto has already done his bit to underline that message. California is a sanctuary state, where law enforcement is forbidden to cooperate with ICE or even hold illegal aliens who have a deportation order outstanding so the feds can pick them up. California's social welfare agencies are also forbidden by law to check immigration status when handing out benefits, as are the public schools, there are no voter ID laws, the California DREAM Act extends full educational benefits, state financial aid and in state tuition rates to illegal aliens and California's Trust Act, gives driver's licenses to illegal immigrants using the easily obtained and forged Matricular Consular card as ID.

Presidente Nieto graciously acknowledged the governor's remarks by calling California "the other Mexico," and thanking Brown for his efforts and those of state officials for embracing laws that that extend state benefits to immigrants.

Well he might. Those illegal aliens represent billions of dollars repatriated back to Mexico, a major source of income. At the same time, the costs of medical care, education, use of California's infrastructure  and other social welfare benefits aren't a concern for the Mexican government, because they're paid for by State and federal taxes.

Actually, I can't disagree with Nieto.California is becoming the other Mexico.  According to Pew Research, Latinos make up nearly 40% of the state's population, the majority of whom are Mexican and an estimated one third of America's illegal aliens call California home...at an estimated cost per year to the state of between $19 and $22 million, depending on whose counting and how they're figuring.

Meanwhile, the state's unemployment rate continues to remain high and the flow of illegal aliens keeps jobs hard to find and the cost of labor low.

By the way, don't be misled into thinking this is just California's problem. It's coming soon to a theater near you, as they say in the movie biz.

Obama's De facto Amnesty Is Going to Bankrupt State Governments

http://go.bloomberg.com/political-capital/content/uploads/sites/3/2013/02/obama-barack-playing-golf-640x360.jpg

One thing very few people are mentioning in the debate over President Obama's de facto amnesty is the effect it's going to have on the states and their budgets, where the 'unaccompanied children' are being dumped, almost always without the state's consent any many times even without their knowledge.

Today, President Obama's Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan sent out a nationwide fact sheet reminding the various school districts of what was referred to as their 'statutory responsibility' to educate these children, regardless of whether they're here legally or not.

As the fact sheet said, all children in the United States “are entitled to equal access to a public elementary and secondary education, regardless of their or their parents’ actual or perceived national origin, citizenship, or immigration status.”

This follows a letter sent May 8th by the Department of Education and he civil rights division of the Department of Justice warning districts to avoid any practices that could be perceived to “chill or discourage” children from signing up for school due to their immigration status.

“These practices contravene Federal law,” the letter stated.

It also pointed out that requiring children provide Social Security numbers or race and ethnicity data when enrolling must be voluntary, and that the age of the children could be proven using foreign records. Not only that, but the schools must be satisfied with the often superficial health checks the children are getting.

But aside from that, the financial burden of just the schooling of these children is going to cause huge deficits in state budgets and involve major cost cutting for the school districts that will directly effect the quality of education for the children already legally enrolled.

For instance, California has taken in to date 3,909 illegal migrant children so far whom were sent there by the Feds. Right now, California spends about $10,500 per pupil in K-12. And that was after huge cuts that have the teacher's unions screaming. In order to accommodate this new influx, the state is going to have to come up with a whopping $41 million plus from somewhere. That will involve a choice of raising taxes again in what is already one the highest taxed states in the country or making even more cuts in the educational services provided. Social services to illegal migrants already cost the state well over $20 billion per year without figuring this new amount in.Texas already spends $12.1 billion per year on illegal aliens.

 http://sandrastachowicz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/broke.jpg

In New Jersey, where approximately 1,500 or so illegal migrants were dropped by the feds, the Garden State, which has severe budget problems and sky high taxes already will be forced to come up with over $24 million somehow in either new taxes or budget cuts elsewhere.

Another consideration is what this is going to do to the actual quality of education. Few of these children aren't even literate in Spanish, let alone English. And the kids who are citizens or legal migrants, who are literate, whose parents are paying for all this? Well, they'll just have to wait for the others to catch up. And if their education suffers, that's unfortunate but you know,

There was a story on Drudge last week from the AP celebrating the fact that white children are now a minority in the public schools. Actually a little research shows that the numbers cut across ethnic lines and have a lot more to do with economics than race. It's not just whites but  Asians, Latinos, and anyone else who can manage to  afford it are taking their children out of dysfunctional public schools and going to private schools or doing homeschooling,  simply to try and give their kids a shot at a decent education.

This is almost definitely going to be an ongoing situation since President Obama obviously intends that most if not all of the current deluge of illegal migrants as well as those whom come after them and most of those already here  are going to stay. The word in DC is that the president plans to announce amnesty  by executive order around the Labor Day weekend, the end of the summer. It's up to the American people whether they want to go along with that agenda.

Obama Will Issue Executive Orders On Amnesty 'By Summer's End'

More scenes from a country with no borders...

White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer told reporters that President Obama has executive orders planned to give at least 5 million illegal aliens work permits and amnesty from deportation. Visa overstays are to be excused, according to Pfeiffer:

That move will come by the end of the summer, White House senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer told reporters Friday. Some officials had advocated waiting until after the November midterm election.

Any such move would prompt a major clash with congressional Republicans, and at least some White House officials appeared to relish the prospect that the GOP might overreach in its response and act in a politically self-destructive manner.

When the decision is announced, it will "increase the angry reactions from Republicans," Pfeiffer said.

"I would not discount the possibility" that Republicans would seek to impeach Obama over his next immigration moves, he said, adding that House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) had "opened the door to impeachment" by his plans to sue Obama for allegedly exceeding his executive authority.

Pfeiffer made his comments at a breakfast for reporters sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.

As always, for this lawless regime everything is about politics 24-7.Nothing else matters.

Boehner, of course, has already said numerous times that he against impeachment proceedings, but that shouldn't be allowed to get in the way of a nice fundraising pitch, should it?

Caveat: Contrary to what this article states (it is, after all, the Los Angeles Times) There was very little that was specific about border security or anything that might increase the number of deportations in the Obama Administration's $3.7 billion dollar request for funding from Congress. Aside from numerous earmarks, the bill's vaguely defined objectives were almost exclusively for the care and feeding of illegal aliens and their lawyers.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0f/Protests.jpg/220px-Protests.jpg

Meanwhile, illegal alien activists are planning to picket the White House this afternoon, and are demanding that President Obama specifically include illegal immigrants in any future meetings:

“We are among the millions of people who will either benefit or be harmed by the decisions the President makes, and we are here to represent ourselves in any future negotiations,” said Rosi Carrasco, one of organizers, in a statement announcing the action.

Billing themselves “undocumented immigrant leaders,” the organizers said they will erect a picket line to symbolize their demands.

They have demands, you see. And the rest of us are expected to simply bend over and pay up.

Illegal Alien With Drug-Resistant TB Goes Missing in CA

eduardo rosas cruz

Yet another scene from a country with no borders...

Eduardo Rosas Cruz, a Mexican illegal alien tested positive with a drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis in a California emergency room but fled without being treated:

Authorities in California are searching for a fugitive homeless man who has refused treatment for tuberculosis and may be contagious.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Eduardo Rosas Cruz, 25, of Mexico.

Mr Cruz was diagnosed with the illness at a local emergency room in March but fled when asked to remain in the area for treatment.

Health officials are concerned he may be infected with a drug-resistant strain of the illness.

“We need help getting him in,” San Joaquin County public health officer Dr Alvaro Garza told US media. “We’ve not been able to find him in places he’s told us he’s going to be.”

It is currently unclear if Mr Cruz is contagious, but he has not completed a nine-month course of medicine required for treatment.

Tuberculosis – spread through air when an infected person sneezes or coughs – can be fatal if left untreated.

In March, Mr Cruz arrived in hospital in San Joaquin complaining of a severe cough, shortness of breath, high fever and weight loss.

After he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, he was told to stay in a nearby motel and wait for a health worker to deliver medication.

He did not comply, prompting government officials to add him to a state-wide law enforcement database and later obtain an arrest warrant.

This happened 4 months ago, and is just surfacing now? And via the BBC??

Amnestia...it's contagious.

Scenes From A Country With No Borders..

Just a few random items...scenes from a country whose sovereignty no longer exists.

Border Patrol Warns MS-13 Using Nogales Processing Center as Recruitment Hub : According to Border Patrol sources, violent MS-13 gang members are using the Nogales processing center in Arizona as a recruitment hub and as a transfer point for gang members to get into the United States.

The Red Cross has set up phone banks inside the processing center so unaccompanied minors can make phone calls to family members inside the United States and back home in Central America. According to sources, those phones are also being used by MS-13 members to communicate with gang members already in the United States and operating in cities like Atlanta, New York and Chicago. Further, many teenaged males inside the facility have approached Border Patrol agents and have said gang members have tried to recruit them from shared cells. {...}

Adult Illegal Immigrants Posing as Children To Enroll in High School:

Adult illegal immigrants posing as unaccompanied alien children appear to be attempting to enroll at public high schools, city officials in Lynn, Mass., tell National Review Online.
“Some of them have had gray hair and they’re telling you that they’re 17 years old and they have no documentation,” Jamie Cerulli, the Lynn mayor’s chief of staff, tells NRO. “If my children went to the public schools, I’d be very uncomfortable with all of these unaccompanied minors [that] are placed in the ninth grade.”

Admission of all foreign students — illegal immigrants, refugees, and foreign nationals — has increased by more than 500 students since the 2010–2011 school year, Catherine Latham, the city’s superintendent of schools, tells NRO. Last school year, nearly 250 students arrived from Guatemala, including 126 enrolled in the ninth grade. {...}

Obama seeks brisk passage of border children funding bill; Would subsidize schooling, health care, lawyers for illegal immigrants:President Obama’s new border spending request will pay for schooling, health care and lawyers for the unaccompanied illegal immigrant children surging across the border, officials told Congress on Thursday as they pleaded for quick action on the $3.7 billion package.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Congress must approve the money this month, saying that if nothing is done before lawmakers leave for a monthlong August vacation, one of his agencies will have to cut its other immigration enforcement in order to hold and transport the children.

But Mr. Johnson and other officials faced bipartisan complaints that Mr. Obama’s plan is “incomplete.” Democrats said it fails to compensate local communities who are having to face the problem, while Republicans said Mr. Obama needs to spell out details of how he wants to change the law to make sure the children can be quickly deported. {...}

 Sgt. Brandon Mendoza

Mother of Police officer killed by illegal immigrant writes Obama: Police said Mary Ann Mendoza's son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, was hit head-on by a driver who had been living in the country illegally for two decades.

Officials said for much of that time Raul Silva-Corona was wanted for charges including burglary, assault and leaving the scene of an accident. When he was finally captured in 2002, he took a plea deal and was allowed to stay in the United States. That's something Mendoza believes needs to change.

"President Obama,

"I am writing this letter to you regarding illegal immigrants.

"As a tax paying, law abiding citizen of the United States, I WANT my voice heard on this issue. My son, Sergeant Brandon Mendoza, an officer who was with the City of Mesa, Arizona police department, was killed in a tragic head on collision on May 12, 2014 by a wrong way driver on our freeways. This man happened to be an illegal immigrant, was in this country illegally, convicted of previous crimes, no Social Security number, no valid driver's license BUT he had purchased a vehicle and registered it to drive in Maricopa County Arizona.

"I had my son's life STOLEN from me by a man who didn't value his life, was 3X the legal limit drunk, was high on Meth, drove for over 35 miles THE WRONG WAY on 4 different freeways and had NO BUSINESS BEING IN THIS COUNTRY!!!

"The Federal Government knew he, Raul Silva Corona , was an illegal immigrant when he was convicted on crimes in 1994 in Colorado. The prosecutors were "lenient" on him and several charges were dismissed. When he was convicted of these crimes and 1994 and the government knew he was in the country illegally, why wasn't he deported? Why are any of these illegal criminals in this country ??

"I am furious that the Federal Government allowed this criminal to stay in this country and KILL my son! I have attached several articles for you to PERSONALLY read about my son. He was an Icon with the City of Mesa Police Department. He was instrumental in making life better for people of all walks of life in the park project he took on. He was humble, selfless, worked many hours off the clock helping disadvantaged children and often used his own money to do things for the community, including "adopting" children at Christmas to provide them with gifts….out of his own money!! [..]

"I want answers that make sense. I want answers from you personally as to why this criminal was allowed to stay in our country until he took my son's life.

"Sincerely,

"Mary Ann Mendoza"

TSA Allowing Illegal Aliens On Planes Without ID:Illegal aliens are being allowed to fly on commercial airliners without valid identification, according to the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). “The aliens who are getting released on their own recognizance are being allowed to board and travel commercial airliners by simply showing their Notice to Appear forms,” NBPC’s Local 2455 Spokesman, Hector Garza, told Breitbart Texas.

“This is not the CBP [Customs and Border Protection] or another federal agency renting or leasing an aircraft, these are the same planes that the American public uses for domestic travel,” said Garza. “This just adds insult to injury. Not only are we releasing unknown illegal aliens onto American streets, but we are allowing them to travel commercially using paperwork that could easily be reproduced or manipulated on any home computer. The Notice to Appear form has no photo, anyone can make one and manipulate one. They do not have any security features, no watermark, nothing. They are simply printed on standard copy paper based on the information the illegal alien says is the truth.”

{...} (And no health checks either, I imagine)

A Voice From The Hood
: I'm living a nightmare. My whole neighborhood is so violent. There's so much crime," she said. "I have gangs everywhere here in Baltimore! I can't let my daughter ride her bicycle outside – I can't do anything, Laura! I'm trapped here."

Elaine told Ingraham that she listens to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Obama and feels that "nobody is saying a word" while spending billions of dollars taking care of foreigners who are unlawfully in the country.

"Well, what about my neighborhood? You don't have to do it in Beverly Hills, but in the inner cities where we are suffering," she said. "My children cannot play outside. I cannot take my trash out without locking the door – it's awful. Who is going to give us anything? Where can I get asylum? Where can I get refugee status? I don't know what I can do. Nobody cares what happens to my children." - black female caller Elaine on Laura Ingraham's talk show.

(Keep voting Democrat,Elaine. That'll fix it just fine)

Border Patrol Agent Hospitalized with Pneumonia Caught from an Illegal Immigrant, Expected to Have Lifelong Complications
:A Border Patrol agent from the Laredo, Texas, Sector has been hospitalized for seven days with bacterial pneumonia, which the agent contracted while processing illegal immigrants, officials from National Border Patrol Council 2455 said.

Agent Jarrad Seely, vice president of NBPC 2455, says the agent is expected to have chronic asthmatic symptoms for life, according to information relayed by the agent. The illness has so swollen the agent’s throat that it’s difficult for the agent to speak, Seely says.

“It’s a very traumatic experience for [the agent] and [the agent’s] family,” he says. “[The agent’s] got small children.” He says that it’s too soon to tell if the agent will be able to make a full recovery and return to work, and says the agent was healthy prior to processing the immigrants.

“Our agents have been getting sick more often than before with flus and congestion and a whole bunch of respiratory illnesses,” says Hector Garza, the secretary and treasurer of NBPC 2455. “The processing room was severely overcrowded and that just made [it] the perfect breeding ground for these diseases.” {...}

Coming to your neighborhood soon if President Obama has his way. Stay tuned
