President Trump In Poland 'The West WIll Not be Broken'

http://media.breitbart.com/media/2017/07/donald-trump-Poland-REUTERSKacper-Pempel-640x480.jpg

President Trump received a warm and enthusiastic welcome when he spoke spoke in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd at Krasinski Square at the Royal Castle in Warsaw at the foot of a statue commemorating the 1944 Polish uprising against German occupiers. He and first lady Melania Trump laid a wreath at its base.

The Polish crowd greeted President Trump with the sort of warmth and enthusiasm the president gets at his rallies, with repeated chants of 'Donald Trump' and 'USA!'

And what President Trump had to say to them was almost Churchillian:

Here's a brief excerpt:

"Each generation must rise up and play their part in [their culture's] defense. Every foot of ground and every last inch of civilization is worth defending with your life.

Our own fight for the West does not begin on the battlefield, it begins with our minds, our wills, and our souls. Today, the ties that unite our civilization are no less vital and demand no less defense than that bare shred of land on which the hope of Poland once totally rested.

Our freedom, our civilization, and our survival depend on these bonds of history, culture, and memory, and today as ever Poland is in our heart and its people are in that fight.

Just as Poland could not be broken, I declare today for the world to hear that the West will never, ever, be broken. Our values will prevail. Our people will thrive. And our civilization will triumph."

Trump's words had particular impact in this time and place. Poland has always been in the forefront of defending the West, whether is was the Mongols, the Ottoman hordes, the Nazis or the Soviets. The monument in Krasinski Square commemorates a heroic Polish uprising against the Nazis in 1944 that saw something like 200,000 people murdered, almost all of them civilians and Warsaw razed to the ground.

And Poland, since its liberation from the Evil Empire has always been a firm U.S. ally, even sending its soldiers to fight at our side in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their reward, of course, was to be betrayed by Barack Hussein Obama and denied them the anti-missile protection they were promised. To add insult to injury, President Obama's announcement came on September 17th, the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union's invasion of eastern Poland during World War II in collaboration with the Nazis.

When Polish President Polish president Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria, Solidarity leader Anna Walentynowicz,Poland's National Bank President Slawomir Skrzypek, Army chief of staff General Franciszek Gagor were killed in a tragic and somewhat mysterious airplane crash over Russian territory, President Obama almost alone among world leaders declined to attend the funerals.

In another context, Trump's appearance in Poland and at the Three Seas summit* marks a major change in the relationship with what former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld presciently referred to as 'New Europe and the United States. What we're talking about is brand new, stronger ties to the Visograd nations and the Balkan countries.

Aside from the obviously much warmer and friendlier climate with a key ally, President Trump put three very important cards on the table:

  • Poland and very likely Czechoslovakia and other Visograd nations are going to finally be able to purchase U.S. Arms, particularly missiles and missile defense elements. And security cooperation is going to be vastly improved.
  • President Trump reaffirmed his iron clad commitment to Article 5 of the NATO charter, that an attack on one signatory would be considered an attack on all.
  • Poland just received its first shipment of American liquid natural gas. Remember the war between Russia and Georgia? As I pointed out in the story linked above, one big reason for Russia's aggression had nothing to do with South Ossetia but with energy. Russia's biggest 'persuader' when it comes to Europe is the Kremlin's monopoly on the energy export routes to the West from the old parts of its former Soviet empire. The one part the Russians didn't control was the oil and gas pipeline that leads from energy-rich Azerbaijan to Turkey, across Georgia...and it's notable that the Russians bombed it as well as the Georgian port of Poti, neither of which is anywhere near South Ossetia. What President Trump is talking about here is removing a key element of blackmail from Russia's arsenal by all by guaranteeing an alternate supplier to New Europe. And as you'll hear in the joint news conference below, Poland's conservative President Duda has hopes of making Poland a trading corridor for U.S. energy and goods to the rest of the Visograd and Three Seas nations.
  • And finally, President Trump is signalling support for New Europe in defying Germany and Angela Merkel on Muslim migrants and even remaining in the EU itself if it comes to that. A recent poll revealed that 70% of the Poles would rather leave the EU that be bullied into importing the same kind of chaos Germany, France, the UK and Sweden among others have brought into  their countries.

Before the speech, President Trump held a joint press conference early Thursday morning in Warsaw with Polish President Andrzej Duda.(skip ahead to 51:53 for the actual joint press conference)

I particularly like the part where some idiot U.S. 'journalist' tries to once again tries to resurrect  the old story about Russia hacking the election, and wasn't the president going to admit that? After all, hadn't 17 U.S. intelligence agencies all come to the same conclusion?

President Trump's reply was a gem.He patiently explained that maybe Russia was involved, but it might also have been at least five other countries. And he also let her in on the fact that it was only three intelligence agencies  that thought Russia was involved, although there was no real evidence yet. And a lot of what he called her 'compatriots' had already had to apologize and correct their stories. And then he lowered the boom...

"Here's the question I want the answer to. The CIA told president Barack Obama that there was a possibility of Russian hacking in the election back in August.  Now th eelection was in Novemeber. That's a long time, but he never did anything about it. Why? His people say he choked, but I think it was because he was sure Hillary was going to win the election and he didn't want to disturb anything."

The reporter immediately blurted out a follow up again insisting that Trump say that Russia was responsible, so President Trump  calmly repeated his answer.

Now as you'll see in the video, President Duda had told the press beforehand that there would only be four questions because he and President Trump had to be at Krasinski Square for the ceremony, but this woman paid no attention, which didn't exactly make her popular with the other reporters. She said pretty much the same thing again, after which President  Trump and President Duda exchanged a brief, weary smile , President Duda made slight gesture and the harridan's microphone was cut off so the two men could leave for a far more important task.

* The Three Seas summit, convened by the presidents of Poland and Croatia, involves nations situated between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas and is designed to strengthen trade and economic ties and energy platforms as well as address joint national security. Most of the nations involved have refused to obey German Chancellor Angela Merkel's diktat to open their country's borders to more Muslim 'refugees.' Many of these countries, like Poland have Euroskeptic governments.President Trump's appearance there after his speech was a major coup for the Poles   and  an excellent opportunity for a lot of the leaders of New Europe to meet President Trump forth first time, a vastly different leader than his predecessor.

Now, it's off to the G-20 summit in Germany, where President Trump is, shall we say, far less popular. and of course, a meeting with Russia's Vladimir Putin for the first time.  Alpha male meets Alpha male!

Hungary's PM Viktor Orbán On Freedom; 'Brussels Must be Stopped!'

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is one of the leaders of Europe's anti EU, nationalist movement. Orbán led the Hungarians in defying the EU and not allowing unlimited Muslim 'refugees' into their country. As Viktor Orbán reminds his listeners, Hungary has historical experience on what that sort of thing means at the hands of the Ottoman Turks.

Every year on March 15, Hungarians celebrate the anniversary of their Revolution of 1848, when Hungary fought Austria in an attempt to gain its independence. The Hungarians almost won, but Austria was able to subdue them with help from the Russian Empire. Hungarian autonomy was finally achieved in 1867, when the Austrian Empire became the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Hungary was given equal status.

This is a speech Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave on March 15 to honor the revolutionaries of 1848, and to draw parallels with that time and what is happening in Europe today. And while some of the references referred to may not be immediately apparent, this is a speech worth hearing.

The Magyars referred to are the ancient tribe of Hungarians who founded the Kingdom of Hungary after migrating west from the Urals. They remain the predominant element of the population of Hungary today.

Marine Le Pen - "The Anglo-Saxons are Awake! The Continent Is Next!"

Here's a wonderfully fiery speech by French politician Marine Le Pen of the Front National, speaking to a gathering of anti-EU populist parties in Koblenz, Germany a few days ago. And yes, The Donald gets a couple of mentions, as she cites President Trump and the UK's Theresa May as harbingers of a new age in Europe. That's exactly what Marine Le Pen means when she says that "The Anglo-Saxons are Awake! The Continent Is Next!"

Madame Le Pen currently ahead in the polls for the coming French presidential elections, as much of a shock to the EU establishment as Trump's ascendancy shocked the Left in America. This is the brave woman who will save France.

Like her Dutch and German counterparts Geert Wilders and Frauke Petry, Marine Le Pen is a voice for freedom in Europe. If you haven;t heard her speak before, you're in for a treat. Well worth the detour.

Bien dit, Marine! Vers le bas avec l'UE et vive la liberté!

PM Theresa May Calls For Renewing The UK's Special Relationship With America

https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/752863438376988672/GHycKE76.jpg

British Prime Minister Theresa May is in America to meet with President Trump and talk over a few things, and took advantage of an invitation to address the Republican Retreat in Philadelphia. The basic theme of her speech was renewing the UK's special relationship with America.   She got an extremely warm reception.

She spoke movingly about the ties  between America and the UK, invoking the close relationship between President Reagan and PM Margaret Thatcher. She recognizes, thank goodness, that this is an American renewal and obviously supports it. I think PM May and President Trump will get along famously.

PM May is obviously excited over Trump's offer of a separate trade deal now that Britain is leaving the EU.

While I thought the speech was well done, the following items were sour notes:

Her remarks on the Iran deal 'preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons for at least a decade' were, shall I say, more than a tad optimistic and far fetched, since it has done nothing of the kind. Deals like this between totalitarian regimes and democratic nations seldom turn out well, and the Iran deal is no exception. Watch and see.

While she did mention 'radical Islamism' and she's obviously no fool on the matter, her remarks on the peaceful nature of ' millions of Muslims' were obsequious and obviously designed to try to placate Muslims in the UK - a significant number of whom are definitely not peaceful. The UK actually has 9 sharia courts Muslims are required to use for family law, with horrendous results for the UK's Muslim women. You'll notice her audience didn't applaud during either of those two segments.

As an aside, it was also rather cute that she's obviously not used to American audiences. We Yanks tend to applaud far more then Brits do, more vociferously and whenever we feel like it!

All in all though, a great start.

Update: Here's their joint press conference. It appears the president and the UK's PM have a lot in common and things are going along just fine so far:

CIA Agents Cheer Trump - 'Feud' Is Just Another Fake News Story

 http://fm.cnbc.com/applications/cnbc.com/resources/img/editorial/2017/01/22/104233348-GettyImages-632321638.530x298.jpg?v=1485096810

President Trump's very first stop on his first full day in office was at CIA headquarters, where a capacity crowd of 400 agents, analysts and other personnel were there to here him speak. Remember, According to the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN and other fake news purveyors, the CIA rank and file hates the new president like poison.

So here we have VP Mike Pence and President Donald Trump talking to them directly, telling them about their new Chief Mike Pompeo, commending them and letting them know that they can expect full backing in doing that vital job they do for the American people from him, as only Donald Trump can. As the CIA Assistant Director who introduced him remarked they could only accommodate 400 people, and there were many more who wanted to come to hear Trump's remarks. This is a new chapter for our intelligence services.

This was simply a commanding general rallying the troops, letting them know how important they were and the great things they were going to accomplish together. And they loved every minute of it.

Needless to say, outgoing CIA head John Brennan (salaam aleikum!) was given a platform to try and rip Trump's speech apart by the usual suspects. We can only imagine how poorly and PC the CIA was run with him in charge. The the CIA's rank and file cheering a new change in command like this tells us how bad it really was and how frustrating for them it must have been.

The new broom sweeps clean indeed..

Trump's Inauguration - "This Is Your Country"

http://fm.cnbc.com/applications/cnbc.com/resources/img/editorial/2017/01/20/104231530-6ED4-FMHR-0120TrumpSpeech.600x400.jpg?v=1484932730

Today, Donald John Trump took the oath of office as the 45th President of the United States.

His inaugural address was very different than the kind we have come to expect lately. It was much like the man himself - plainspoken and to the point, delivered not in the cadences of Harvard or Yale but in the blue collar accents of Queens.

For one thing, unlike his predecessor, the word 'I' was mostly absent. This was a speech to the American people and it was deliberately made inclusive, with the focus on 'we' and the all-inclusive 'you.':

"We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for many, many years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done."

After a few salutations to the ex-presidents assembled and a special thanks to President Obama and Michele Obama "for their gracious aid throughout this transition" he then proceeded to rip apart the policies of the last quarter century and in particular the last eight years. No names mentioned or personal attacks, just the unadorned truth:

"Today's ceremony, however, has a very special meaning because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.

For too long, a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have bore the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed."

The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment.

It belongs to you.

It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.

This is your day.

This is your celebration.

And this, the United States of America, is your country."

His message was simple. Things are going to change, and from now on, the country's business will be conducted with the benefit of the American people as the first priority.

He also said the words 'radical Islamic terrorism,' pledging to eradicate it. And he did something else that recalled another inaugural long, long ago...that the protection and prosperity of the United States of America depends not just on the actions of men, but on the divine providence of G-d.

That alone will drive the Left even crazier than they already are. They will harshly criticize it, ridicule it and even cook up some polls to show how much the American people hated this speech and the man who made it. But most Americans are going to understand it as a harbinger of a new era. As President Trump said today, January 20th, 2017 will be remembered at the day the American people again took control of their government. The elites still don't understand, most of them, that this wasn't so much an election as a relatively bloodless revolution.

The president who made that earlier inaugural address understood, as does President Trump that he was presiding over a time of revolutionary change, a time of national challenge. Both of them made a pledge before the American people to lead them in meeting that challenge.

This is a new day and anew era in our beloved Republic's history. Our challenge now is to redeem what our Forefathers suffered and bled to preserve for us. Will we meet it? Well, the way at least is clear and the challenges named. President Trump spelled that out today for us.

With G-d's help, we will.

Selah.

Donald Trump's Rally Live Before 20,000 In Roanoke, VA!!

The Donald in action in Roanoke, Virginia 9/24/16 before a sell out crowd of 20,000 plus...along with a crowd outside watching and listening on monitors outside the event who couldn't get in.

The difference in the level of energy between Trump's massive events and the small crowds Hillary Clinton is attracting to her own rare events is astounding. And Trump has been averaging two a day of these, sometimes in widely disparate locations.

Donald Trump: An Interesting Meeting And A Major Policy Speech

http://www.radionz.co.nz/assets/news_crops/15940/eight_col_068_AA_01092016_339059.jpg?1472684104

To the surprise of many people who have been listening to the talking heads and get much of their information on Donald Trump from them, Donald Trump eagerly accepted an invitation from Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto to visit him in Mexico City and discuss future relations between the two countries.

Trump went because it's the way he's always done things...if he wants to find out something, he goes to take a look at it, he asks, he learns firsthand. For President Nieto it's not such a bad idea either. Why not sound out someone who might well be the next American president, find out what kind of person he is and see what kind of common ground is possible?

In spite of media speculation of massive protests and even threats to Trump's physical safety, in the end there were only a handful of protestors and both men remarked on how well the meeting had gone. At which time UniVision's Jorge Ramos had a coronary. Pity...he was already weakened by the recent Gallup Poll showing Trump with 30% of the Hispanic vote.

Needless to say, the media didn't concentrate on the positive aspects of the speech. During a presser when Trump was asked if he and President Nieto had discussed the subject of Mexico paying for the wall Trump wants built, Trump simply said "We didn't discuss it," which could either mean it wasn't mentioned or that it was and one man or the other simply moved on to other topics.

Once he heard the press reports of course, President Nieto had to same some political face by tweeting that he told Trump that Mexico wouldn't pay for the wall. Of course that became the media headline for the usual suspects, not Trump and Nieto's positive remarks on each other and how well the meeting had gone.

Afterwards, Trump went to Phoenix, Arizona to attend a rally before a huge crowd where he took the opportunity to discuss his meeting with Nieto and lay out his immigration policy. It was an excellent speech, clear and to the point and it emphasized ways Mexico and the U.S. could work together, the common goals both countries had and exactly what Donald Trump sees as the problem with illegal migration and how he would fix it. Most of it makes excellent sense, although I wonder if he's going to be able to get Congress to go along with some of it, which means executive orders.

I particularly like his take on visa overstaying and a data base to track it (something we've needed for years),the need to vet far more carefully whom we allow into America as immigrants, zero tolerance for illegal migrants who commit crimes, persuading sanctuary cities to start actually obeying our immigration laws and actually formulating immigration policy with America's best interests as the priority.

That's pretty much exactly how high immigration targets like Australia do. There's no other way unless you're willing to dump having a welfare state entirely.

Since the media likely won't want you to pay attention to this, the entire speech is here. And it's well worth listening to:

Did Trump Flip Flop On Amnesty? Not Even Close, And Here's The Proof

 Donald-Trump-1

Much has been made about a supposed 'flip flop ' on amnesty for illegal aliens by Donald Trump.

This is sheer horse manure for the #nevertrumpers to wallow in, like they were actually going to vote for him anyway. Trump isn't remotely selling 'amnesty.' Not even close.

What Trump has always said is that he wants a priority on border control (please look up what that word 'priority' means), that he wants to enforce our current immigration laws vet who's here and establish criteria for who gets deported and who qualifies to stay with some kind of legal status. He's not saying anything different in the clip above. Ann Coulter has been right about a lot of things, but she's vastly overreacting here. I'd expect that kind of thing from the #nevertrumpers, a certain loathsome senator from Texas and the folks at places like the NRO and CNN. Let's look at what Trump actually had to say, in full. And why it matters:

The only thing Donald Trump has changed is to underline that given the neglect of this issue for a quarter century or more by Washington, we also need to allow for a certain amount of compassion in some cases and establish a procedure for that.

And here's another amazing thing about it.
This is a crowded to capacity town hall meeting on national TV. When have you ever seen a presidential candidate in living memory actually have a conversation with his audience like this? When have you seen a presidential candidate demonstrate his faith in living democracy by taking a risk of this kind, listening to his audience and actually asking them what they think, not using some carefully scripted, rehearsed questioner and rehearsed answer ala' Mrs. Clinton, but en masse,in a crowd, live, on national TV where everyone can see?

The most brilliant thing of all is the message Donald Trump is sending to his fellow Americans that they haven't heard in years from anyone in power, that what they want and what they think matters.

And this is the man some people call an authoritarian and an egoist!

Another thing Trump hasn't wavered on at all is cutting back on H1B visa abuse that allows big corporations to actually fire Americans simply to import low wage labor to take their jobs, especially in the tech sector.

Why else do you think Zuckerberg and the rest of them are so invested in a Clinton victory?

Let me,in passing, also eliminate a #nevertrump talking point. Trump has indeed hired foreign workers for his hotels during the busy seasons, but lawfully under the H2B program, which means they are allowed to work legally for a very limited period of time and then must be returned to their country of origin. H1B programs allow permanent residency.

People have been using that 11 million figure for a long time now. We are talking about, most likely, 20 to 25 million people. Deporting all of them is possible, but is it desirable? I don't think so.

A number of those people are indeed undesirable migrants. They've committed numerous crimes, they're gang members, they've taken vast advantage of our social welfare system and contribute little to America. That's what happens when you have no borders.

Then there are others, who have established roots, have lived lawfully except for the initial crime of illegally crossing the border, whom work productively, and who show every sign of wanting to be part of America. Is there any reason not to establish criteria that allows a number of those who meet it to stay with some kind of legal status?

What Trump is doing is laying the groundwork for a brand new immigration policy to replace the travesty we have now, one where illegal migration is mostly gone, where migrant's applications can be scrutinized and migrants themselves carefully vetted according to a formula and criteria developed and implemented by the admitting sovereign country, the United States. Immigration, after all, is a privilege, not a right. That is a sensible and defensible policy, especially since it involves solving the main problem...porous borders and unlimited illegal migration.

That kind of policy is exactly what high immigration target countries like Australia, New Zealand and Canada have adopted to decide who is allowed to legally migrate and who isn't. And it's a smart, sustainable one, although Canada has been a little odd lately on 'rapefugees' since that part time lefty dance instructor Trudeau took over from Stephen Harper.

Trump's policy ideas on immigration align exactly with this kind of common sense approach.

Amnesty they ain't.

Two Speeches And Some Funerals

Anyone remotely following the news from Israel knows that some serious violence has broken out there. As usual, the media bends over backwards to paint this as a 'cycle of violence' for which both sides are responsible. This is an outrageous, Newspeak lie, and as I'll show you, it has some serious implications for America, believe it or not.

Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority have long practiced a double game perfected by Abbas's old chief, Yasser Arafat. The idea is to mouth platitudes in English while funding and encouraging genocide against Jews in Arabic in the PLO's schools, mosques and media. And the current explosion of violence against Israel's Jews is directly linked to this tactic.

Abbas's recent speeches have literally involved marching orders to the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians to violently attack Jews, primarily but not limited to Jerusalem.

Abbas was preparing the ground as long ago as September 17, just prior to the Jewish High Holy Days, saying: "Every drop of blood that has been spilled in Jerusalem is holy blood as long as it was for Allah. Every Martyr (Shahid) will reach Paradise, and everyone wounded will be rewarded, Allah willing.' ... We will not allow them to carry out their actions and divide the Al-Aqsa [Mosque], and stated: 'The Al-Aqsa [Mosque] is ours, and they have no right to defile it with their filthy feet. We will not allow them to, and we will do everything in our power to protect Jerusalem."

At the same time, the signals to attack Jews were amplified in the mosques, schools and media of 'Palestine' as they always are.

The Muslim Waqf which controls the al-Aksa mosque allowed the stockpiling of rocks, firebombs and iron bars on the mosque specifically to attack Jews worshiping at the Kotel(the Western Wall) below.

They deliberately sought to provoke a reaction from Israeli security forces.

In case you think mere rocks are no problem, I invite you to read this woman's account of being assaulted by the brave 'Palestinian' warriors.

Other attacks were planned and carried out against Israelis without warning, with cars being particularly vulnerable because of their orange Israeli license plates.

One of the first to die was Alexander Levlovitz, who was murdered when his car was attacked in the neighborhood of Har Homa. His wife and baby were injured by shards of broken glass.

 Alexander Levlovitz

One Israeli woman was actually pulled from her car after it was stoned and was only saved from assault and worse by Israeli passerbys who fired on the crowd.

Mahmoud Abbas's recent speech in the UN has to be seen in the context of the terrorist attacks he and Fatah were and are encouraging.

In it, he talked of 'a year of a new war of genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people' and 'the historic injustice inflicted on the Palestinian people in Al-Nakba of 1948, the occupying Power has chosen to defy the entire world by launching its war on Gaza, by which its jets and tanks brutally assassinated lives and devastated the homes, schools and dreams of thousands of Palestinian children, women and men and in reality destroying the remaining hopes for peace.'

Actually, it's the other way around. The real attempted genocide is being launched by the Arabs whom call themselves Palestinians against Israel's Jews.

Abbas also said that the Palestinian Authority was no longer bound by Oslo or any other agreements it has signed with Israel. That was really no big news since they have never abided by the terms of Oslo anyway, and Selim Fayyad, the former PLO PM made it clear some time ago.

Under US law and the terms of the agreements, this should have resulted in a suspension of funding for 'Palestine.' Don't hold your breath. Instead, the 'Palestinian' flag was raised at the UN for the first time, in spite of the fact that only member nations are supposed to be allowed to do so.Deceitful, which is how both Benyamin Netanyahu and virtually every Israeli figure of note referred to the speech hardly covers this tissue of lies.

The speech, by the way was attended by America's UN ambassador and President Obama, neither of whom attended Israeli PM Benyamin Netanyahu's subsequent speech on which more later. But it was obviously the signal for more terrorist attacks.

Eitam and Naama Henkin of Neria, who were murdered in a drive-by terror attack near Nablus on Thursday, October 1, 2015. (screen capture, Channel 2)

Eitam and Naama Henkin (HY"D) , were murdered in a drive by shooting by Arabs belonging to the al-Aksa Martyrs brigade, part of Fatah. They were killed in front of four of their children. According to investigators, Eitem used his last strength to open the car door and tell his four children aged aged 4 months, 4, 7 and 9 to flee and hide. That and the fact that the alarm had been raised is all that saved them. Eitam Henkin, by the way, was an America citizen, and our Secretary of State's response was a pro forma condemnation and an urge for both sides to 'reduce tension.'

One of the weapons involved was a U.S. M-16 provided for PLO 'security forces.'

Thousands of Israelis attended their funeral...and a particularly poignant moment was when their nine-year old son recited kaddish for his parents, the Jewish prayer for the dead. The Henkins left six children to be raised by their grandparents.

Aside from throwing rocks and firebombs, another tactic being used is random stabbings. There have been multiple attacks of this sort.

One of the more serious ones involved the murder of Rabbi Nehemia Lavi, 41, and Aharon Banita, 21 (HY'D)and the stabbing and wounding of Mrs. Banita and her baby as Arab onlookers applauded, spat on them and kicked them.

Here's how the BBC reported this attack:

The attacks have continued, without even a faux condemnation by the PLO or Abbas. And why not? This is exactly what they've encouraged and planned.

Needless to say, the Obama Administration continues to call for 'both sides to reduce tension.' To them, Israel obviously is at equal fault for even existing and attempting to protect its people.

And the UN? Instead of voicing any concern for the victims of these unprovoked attacks, they're concerned about the terrorist attackers.

"The Secretary-General condemns the killings and looks to the Government of Israel to conduct a prompt and transparent investigation into the incidents, including whether the use of force was proportional."

He did not mention what the Palestinian Authority might do to reign in the recent violence or condemn the recent terror attacks which left Israelis dead and others wounded in stabbing and shooting attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

*************

Benyamin Netanyahu's speech at the UN mainly concerned Iran.

It was essentially a useless but eloquent cri d'cour in front of a half empty UN General Assembly. Attending were three obviously embarrassed State Department functionaries whom were careful not to applaud, at least not too openly. America's President, Secretary of State and UN Ambassador were absent.

The high point of the speech was Netanyahu's accusing the UN of aiding and abetting a genocidal regime that intends to murder the Israeli people - followed by a 45-second silence where you can literally feel some of the attendees withering under Netanyahu's accusatory glance.

While Netanyahu pledged that Israel has defended itself, is defending itself and will defend itself (a phrasing purposely borrowed from Shachris, the Jewish morning prayer concerning G-d's reign over the earth) he merely emphasized that Israel now stands alone. And that the Obama Administration has picked sides in this war, even to the extent of threatening Israel to withhold a U.S. veto on a UN resolution unilaterally proclaiming 'Palestine' on the pre-1967 lines including East Jerusalem, something that would create half a million Jewish refugees and attempt to force Israel back to indefensible borders if it dares to build homes for its people or takes steps our president deems too thorough to curtail the terrorist attacks.

Unlike Czechoslovakia, do not expect Israel to simply succumb to this without a fight. They really have no other place to go, and disapproval by the UN or the Obama Administration isn't going to weigh much against extermination. That is literally the choice they have been forced into making.

Israel has survived before under far greater odds, and without the backing of the United States. It may very well have to do so again.

If I were speaking to Netanyahu, I'd tell him in no uncertain terms that President Obama intends to do this anyway before he leaves office. When someone blackmails you based on hatred and ideology, they will always eventually do what they threaten you with.

Israel must make its future decisions based on this reality. Virtually every attempt to appease Obama has simply resulted in more dead Jews and increased danger for the country.

The odd part is that this kind of blackmail is likely to create an even more hard line Israeli government, as Netanyahu is currently being assailed by his coalition to do something to protect Israel's citizens. But perhaps that's what our president has in mind anyway, to force Israel into a major split with the US that he can then point to as a reason to cut ties and lead the charge to isolate Israel internationally, that daylight between America and Israel he's been talking about since 2009.

If Israel can no longer depend on America as an ally, perhaps that actually might be for the best.Reality beats fantasy and illusion every time.

So how does this relate to America and our lives here? More than you can imagine, if present trends continue.

In spite of CAIR's propaganda, there were just over three million Muslims in America when President Obama took office. He has brought almost a million more Muslims into America via diversity visas, family unification and refugee asylum, and he plans to bring far more into America before he leaves in 16 months. In fact, it's quite likely that the Muslim population of America is going to double during his terms in office. Arabic is already the fastest growing language on U.S. college campuses and among the immigrant population in general. The Obama Administration's anti-Israel stance is designed to appeal to these new voters and existing Democrats whom would just as soon get a temporary refuge from history by cutting all ties with Israel and the region.

After all, that vacation from history worked so well during the Clinton years, didn't it?

Rest assured that this increase is also going to change how we live, and that's particularly true if you are Jewish, homosexual or female. We're already seeing  increased crime...and vastly increased welfare costs. This is a mirror to  what is happening in Europe now. And we can expect a lot more Nidal Hassans,  Mohammad Abdulazeezses and Tsaernov brothers to surface.

Ironically, if this trend continues the same Leftist Jews whom have worshiped Obama are going to be targeted, and left wondering what happened. They may very well look towards the Israel they been so anxious to demonize as their refuge, just as many Jews in Europe do now.

From a foreign policy standpoint, if this moves in the same direction in the future America will have replaced a firm ally with countries like Iran that still want infidel America destroyed and are anxious to work towards that end. And other countries, who have already seen how the Obama Administration treats an ally are already distancing themselves.

I will leave it to you to decide whether this is the kind of America you want to live in.

Why Hasn't Louis Farrakhan Been Arrested?

Here's The Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan speaking for his #JusticeOrElse movement at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami:

"I'm looking for ten thousand...in the midst of a million. I'm looking for ten thousand in the midst of the million. Ten thousand fearless men. Who say death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny."

'Death is sweeter than to continue to live and bury our children while white folks give the killer...hamburgers."

"Death is sweeter! Than watching us slaughter each other to the joy of the 400 year old enemy. Death, death is sweeter."

"The Qu'ran teaches persecution is worse than slaughter. Then it says, retaliation is prescribed in matters of the slain. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breaths of those whose children have been slain."

“So if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling,”

This is not protected speech under the First Amendment...just ask Tom Metzger of White Aryan Resistance about that. This is a direct, clear, imminent incitement to violence as outlined by the Supreme Court in Virginia v BlackChaplinsky v. New Hampshire and other cases.

It is also  certainly a violation of Florida's state laws (Florida Statutes Section 877.03 and Florida Statutes Section 870.01), and of the City of Miami's civil code.

Nor is this the first time he's used this kind of language. So why wasn't Louis Farrakhan charged and arrested? Change the word 'white ' to  'black'   in the above transcript. Do you think a white speaker saying the same things would have been arrested, as I think he or she should have been?

Guesses?

UKip's Nigel Farage: "Greece, Take Back Your Democracy"

UKip leader Nigel Farage had a few things to say worth hearing about Greece and the EU..and he said them yesterday in the European Parliament, speaking directly to Greek Prime Minster Alexis Tsipras across the room:

NIGEL FARAGE: Thank you. What we're seeing in this chamber this morning and indeed across the whole of Europe is an irreconcilable cultural difference between Greece and Germany. A split between the North and the South of Europe. The European project is actually beginning to die. Nobody in this room will recognise that the peoples of Europe are saying, we were never asked whether we want in this. This has been foisted upon on us and we need to understand why the EMU doesn't work. Those monsters Kohl and Mitterrand, backed up by the clever but dangerous Delors believed that if they put in place an economic and monetary union then as night follows day, there would be political union and there would be an acceptance of this project and the North and South of Europe would converge. That we would all start to love each other and we would all start to feel a European identity, that we would all start to show allegiance to the flag and the anthem.

Those, of course, that criticised this were told we were extremists and we lacked vision. Well one vision we didn't lack is we understood the countries of Europe are different and if you try to force together different people and different economies without first seeking the consent of those people it is unlikely to work and the plan has failed. This isn't just Greece we're talking about today, the whole of the Med now finds itself in the wrong currency and yet virtually nobody in the political arena has the courage to stand up and say that. Indeed, I feel that the continent is now divided from North to South, there is a new Berlin wall and it is called the euro. The old enmities have been resumed. Just listen to the way the German leader of the CDU group this morning attacked Mr Tsipras. He was actually disgusting but it shows the way North and South feel about each other.

Mr Tsipras, your country should never have joined the euro, I think you acknowledge that. But the big banks, big business and big politics forced you in. Goldmans Sachs, the German arms manufacturers, they were all very happy when the bailouts began. They weren't for the Greek people, those bailouts were for French, German and Italian banks. They haven't helped you at all. These years of austerity, years of high employment and increasing poverty, none of it's worked. In fact, your debt GDP ratio has gone from 100 percent at the start of the crisis to 180 percent right now. It would be madness sir, to continue on this course.

You have been very brave. You called that referendum. When one of your predecessors tried to do the same the bully boys in Brussels had him removed. They tried their best again, Mr Juncker said you would have to leave the Euro and leave the EU. Even Mr Schulz, the president of the parliament, who one would have thought might have been neutral, said that if the Greeks voted no then power supplies might even go down. There were threats and bullying but the Greeks stood firm. But sir, you cannot have your cake and eat it. They will give you no more these people. They cannot afford to, if they give you more they have to give other Eurozone members more.

So your moment has come, and frankly if you have the courage you should lead the Greek people out of the Eurozone with your head held high. Get back your democracy; get back control of your country. Give your people the leadership and the hope that they crave. Yes it will be tough in the first few months but with a devalued currency and with friends of Greece all over the world, you will recover. "

Human Rights Expert: UN is "Leading Global Purveyor of Anti-Semitism"

 http://cdn.frontpagemag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/united-nations.jpg

By David Gerstman

Yesterday, leading human rights expert Anne Bayefsky made the case (video embedded below) that the United Nations (UN) is the "leading global purveyor of anti-Semitism."

Although her speech was given on UN property it was not sponsored by the UN as The Times of Israel reports:

On the third floor of the United Nations, just two doors down from the Security Council, more than 500 people gathered this week for a conference on the rise of anti-Semitism. For some, the location was a touch ironic.

Because it wasn’t the UN that decided to address the threat global anti-Semitism posed to international peace and security. Rather, it was the UN Permanent Mission of Palau and the Aja Eze Foundation that sponsored the lunchtime conference.

Adam Kredo of the Washington Free Beacon reported on Bayefsky's remarks:

“Photo-ops of the U.N. secretary-general and the U.N. high commissioner for human rights at the gates of Auschwitz are not an alibi,” she said, dubbing these worthless public relations moves.

“One does not honor the memory of Jews murdered by intolerance six decades ago by inciting murderous intolerance towards the remnant of the Jewish people in the here and now,” Bayefsky said. “Incitement to hate, like declaring Israel to be racist—as does the U.N. Durban Declaration—the flagship of the U.N.’s racist anti-racism program of action.”

Ironically the UN doesn't see fit to address the threat of global anti-Semitism just after a report showed that one percent of French Jews are likely to make aliyah - move to Israel - in 2014.

Senator Ted Cruz's Father On America And Liberty

Rafael Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz's father experienced both Batista's dictatorship and Fidel Castro's 'socialist' one in Cuba before he emigrated to America. He had a few things to say about liberty and tyranny that are well worth hearing, especially in Obama's America.

Because there's nothing new under the sun, really. Only the players change.

Sarah Palin AT CPAC "We're Not Here To Rebrand A Party, We're Here To Rebuild A Country"

An absolutely wonderful speech from Governor Palin. And it looks like Governor Palin has been working out and getting in shape for something big.

Bonus...Senator Ted Cruz's superb intro.

Hard to believe that the GOP was too frightened and wussied up to give the Governor a speaking slot at last year's national convention. She is far and away the best speaker and most articulate politician in either party.

Listen to this and tell me again that she couldn't eat Barack Obama's lunch in a head to head.

Soon come...soon come.

A Marvelous Speech By Dr. Benjamin Carson

Dr. Benjamin Carson, the chief pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore gave this speech at the national prayer breakfast last week with President Obama in attendance. It's created quite a bit of reaction. Needless to say, President Obama stopped looking pleased after about 12 minutes. You'll see why when you listen to what Dr. Carson had to say, particularly about self-reliance, education and healthcare.

By the way, I can vouch for what he had to say about getting rid of TV when it comes to young children. My wife and I did exactly the same thing when our kids were very small, and it was one of the best things we ever did for them.

Senator Rand Paul Talks Sense On Foreign Policy

 https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRHk1i55z548T1YIzRBKMWiKC-rfHZJM3rs5vIWN0rINC1C0XUgNg

Senator Rand Paul ( R-KY) gave an important speech at the Heritage Foundation today. It's one of the more intelligent  expostions on Foreign Policy I've seen come out of Congress in quite some time. The more I see of Senator Paul, the more I'm impressed with his common sense and his understanding of the Founder's principles. And he clearly understands the threat of radical Islam.  Here's a slice:

Foreign policy is uniquely an arena where we should base decisions on the landscape of the world as it is . . . not as we wish it to be. I see the world as it is. I am a realist, not a neoconservative, nor an isolationist.

When candidate John McCain argued in 2007 that we should remain in Iraq for 100 years, I blanched and wondered what the unintended consequences of prolonged occupation would be.  But McCain’s call for a hundred year occupation does capture some truth: that the West is in for a long, irregular confrontation not with terrorism, which is simply a tactic, but with Radical Islam.

As many are quick to note, the war is not with Islam but with a radical element of Islam - the problem is that this element is no small minority but a vibrant, often mainstream, vocal and numerous minority. Whole countries, such as Saudi Arabia, adhere to at least certain radical concepts such as the death penalty for blasphemy, conversion, or apostasy. A survey in Britain after the subway bombings showed 20% of the Muslim population in Britain approved of the violence.

Some libertarians argue that western occupation fans the flames of radical Islam – I agree. But I don’t agree that absent western occupation that radical Islam “goes quietly into that good night.” I don’t agree with FDR’s VP Henry Wallace that the Soviets (or Radical Islam in today’s case) can be discouraged by “the glad hand and the winning smile.”

Americans need to understand that Islam has a long and perseverant memory. As Bernard Lewis writes, “despite an immense investment in the teaching and writing of history, the general level of historical knowledge in American society is abysmally low. The Muslim peoples, like everyone else in the world, are shaped by their history, but unlike some others, they are keenly aware of it.”
Radical Islam is no fleeting fad but a relentless force. Though at times stateless, radical Islam is also supported by radicalized nations such as Iran. Though often militarily weak, radical Islam makes up for its lack of conventional armies with unlimited zeal.

For Americans to grasp the mindset of radical Islam we need to understand that they are still hopping mad about the massacre at Karbala several hundred years ago. Meanwhile, many Americans seem to be more concerned with who is winning Dancing with the Stars.

Romney Does Stand Up Last Night At The Al Smith Dinner!!

The Al Smith dinner is an annual gala event held every year at this time in New York by the Al Smith Charitable Foundation, a Catholic charitable organization named after New York's former governor, the first Catholic ever to run for president as a Democrat in 1928. It's a $2,500 a seat fundraiser for the foundation.

In keeping with its namesake's sharp wit, noted goodwill and friendship for people on both sides of the aisle, the dinner is a bi-partisan affair noted for barbed humor and witty byplay by the speakers..and all in a good cause.

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama both spoke to the assembled bi-partisan crowd and I note with interest the difference in tone, the sense of humor, the difference in their ability to laugh at themselves and the way their remarks were received.

To me, Mitt Romney seemed confident, comfortable and loose. The president did not. See what you think.

A Victim of Jihad Gives Us A Rare Moment Of Truth: CBS Reporter Lara Logan

You might remember award winning reporter Lara Logan, who experienced the wonder of the Arab Spring first hand when she was abducted and subjected to a horrifying gang rape in Tahrir Square while the mob screamed, 'Jew, Jew'.

This incredibly courageous woman was the keynote speaker at the Better Government Association annual luncheon in Chicago this week to 1,100 influential figures from government, politics, media, and the legal and corporate arenas. And for the record, she's no mere talking head but a highly experienced foreign correspondent with first hand, on the scene knowledge.

What she had to say was a welcome blast of truth:

Her ominous and frightening message was gleaned from years of covering our wars in the Middle East. She arrived in Chicago on the heels of her Sept. 30 report, “The Longest War.” It examined the Afghanistan conflict and exposed the perils that still confront America, 11 years after 9/11.

Eleven years later, “they” still hate us, now more than ever, Logan told the crowd. The Taliban and al-Qaida have not been vanquished, she added. They’re coming back.

“I chose this subject because, one, I can’t stand, that there is a major lie being propagated . . .” Logan declared in her native South African accent.

The lie is that America’s military might has tamed the Taliban.

“There is this narrative coming out of Washington for the last two years,” Logan said. It is driven in part by “Taliban apologists,” who claim “they are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban,” she added sarcastically. “It’s such nonsense!”

Logan stepped way out of the “objective,” journalistic role. The audience was riveted as she told of plowing through reams of documents, and interviewing John Allen, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan; Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and a Taliban commander trained by al-Qaida. The Taliban and al-Qaida are teaming up and recruiting new terrorists to do us deadly harm, she reports.

She made a passionate case that our government is downplaying the strength of our enemies in Afghanistan and Pakistan, as a rationale of getting us out of the longest war. We have been lulled into believing that the perils are in the past: “You’re not listening to what the people who are fighting you say about this fight. In your arrogance, you think you write the script.”

Our enemies are writing the story, she suggests, and there’s no happy ending for us.

Logan even suggested that the U.S. take revenge for the murder of its citizens in Libya, the penultimate in non PC discourse.

The event is a harbinger of our vulnerability, she said. Logan hopes that America will “exact revenge and let the world know that the United States will not be attacked on its own soil. That its ambassadors will not be murdered, and that the United States will not stand by and do nothing about it.”

What Ms. Logan is talking about is a real life version of that well known old Arab proverb about the camel's nose.

An Arab realizes that his camels' nose is protruding into his tent, but figures its nothing much to be worry about. Next day, the camel is putting his head and entire forequarters into the tent, but the Arab still figures it's no great matter of concern. Eventually, over a period of a few days, the camel is entirely inside the tent, the Arab is crowded inside with no easy way to escape and no way to get the camel out, but by then of course, it's too late to do anything about it.

That's what we face in the Muslim world, and what we've been essentially ignoring since the first World Trade Center bombing.

And the more we twist into dhimmi pretzels trying to appease them, adapt to their cultural norms instead of championing our own and allow them to slaughter our people with impunity while rationalizing that its about the latest Muslim outrage over a book, a YouTube video or whatever handy excuse comes up, the worse it's going to get.

As Ms. Logan said, it's time we stopped lying to ourselves, and certainly way past time our government stopped doing it.
