Prostitute Pepper Sprays 14-Year-Old Boy, Steals His Piggy Bank

Young lust, sex on the internet and the toils of commerce...

A 14-year-old boy saved up his money in a jar for what he thought would be initiation into the mysteries of sex. Then he arranged a meeting with a prostitute over the 'net using his IPad.

Lo and behold, when said prostitute showed up, instead of delivering she looked at him..and after she finished laughing, she pepper sprayed the prospective 'john'. And while he was incapacitated, she stole his IPad and his money jar and left the scene.

Police later apprehended 22-year-old Dareka Brooks when they were able to track her because she stupidly used the IPad in question. Charged with one count of armed robbery, her bail was set at $10,000.

Meanwhile, the teen in question is reportedly safe..and while he 's still ignorant of sex, he's definitely been educated!

Can you imagine what it was like for him to report this to the police? Or how hard it was for the cops to keep from laughing?

Jesse Jackson Jr. and Wife Plead Guilty To Charges In Plea Bargain

Well,the details of the case against Jesse Jackson Jr. and his wife have now officially been made public, and it's not pretty.

They've been caught red-handed.

Jesse Jr. will plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, mail fraud and making false statements.

Mrs. Sandi Jackson, a Chicago alderwoman until her recent resignation will plead guilty to filing false tax returns.

Jesse Jr. is being charged with using over $750,000 in campaign for his personal use.

Federal authorities allege that Jackson Jr. used campaign funds to purchase a $43,350 men’s gold-plated Rolex watch, $5,150 worth of fur capes and parkas, and $9,588 in children’s furniture. The purchases were made between 2007 and 2009, according to the criminal information, which authorities noted is not evidence of guilt.

Other expenditures listed by prosecutors include $10,105 on Bruce Lee memorabilia, $11,130 on Martin Luther King memorabilia and $22,700 on Michael Jackson items, including $4,600 for a "Michael Jackson fedora."

The government also alleged that Jackson Jr. made false statements to the House of Representatives because he did not report approximately $28,500 in loans and gifts he received.

"A Michael Jackson fedora"? I die laughing every time I read that.

Mrs. Jackson falsified their joint tax returns between 2006 through 2011, so she was obviously in on the scam. But part of the plea bargain is that she's apparently being allowed to plead guilty to just one count of tax fraud. She faces up to three years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and other unspecified penalties.

Jesse Jr. faces up to five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and again, other unspecified penalties.

Note that the amount they diverted alone is less than the maximum penalties they face combined, by a good quarter mil. It doesn't account for the profits they made on the taxes they didn't pay for 5 years.

This is Chicago. My prediction is that Sandi Jackson will pay a fine of some kind. She'll get a suspended sentence and will do no jail time.Maybe some community service or some kind of similar bolshoi.

Jesse Jr. will pay a fine of some sort and maybe get two years at most in a white collar summer camp masquerading as a 'prison'. He may even get sent to a rehab facility. He'll be out in a year, tops.

Compare that with what would happen to me or you if th4e feds caught us doing the same thing.

As you watch this, remember what I said yesterday about many public school teachers providing, in many cases, a healthy dose of lefty indoctrination. And remember what a prominant part of the Democrat party these public employee unions are.

Granted, I'm sure the interviewer cherry picked a bit. But it doesn't look like he had to work very hard to do it, does it?

As the Chicago teacher's union strike moves into high gear, one thing that gone almost unnoticed is an important effect on the city's school children. Aside from the effect of missing school on their academic progress, the hellish inconvenience for working parents and the fact that many of these children are running around with no real safe place to go in a fairly dangerous city, there's one more thing, as Charles Lane points out in today's Washington Post; a lot of them are running around hungry.

Keep the following numbers in mind for the next time a public-sector union official starts lecturing you about social justice.

In Chicago, 85 percent of the roughly 400,000 public school students are either African American or Latino. A similar percentage receives free or reduced-price meals, which means these students live at or near the poverty line: $27,214 for a family of three, in a typical case. The average public-school teacher in Chicago earned almost triple that amount — $76,000 per year, according to the school district. In contract negotiations this year, Chicago Public Schools offered an average total pay increase of 16 percent over four years.

Since the schools are closed, so are the meal programs. As I have reason to know, for a lot of these children, the meals they get at school constitute a major portion of their diet. In a number of cases, the free breakfast and lunch the school hands out might be the only food they get during the day.

They are literally being starved and held as hostages by a greedy, incompetent and uncaring public employee union that is supposed to be in the profession of caring about what happens to children.

I use the term incompetant advisedly.While there are probably a number of good teachers working in Chicago's public school system, it graduates only 60 percent of its students and fewer than 8 percent of 11th-graders met all four college readiness benchmarks on 2011 state tests, according to the school system's own, almost certainly exaggerated numbers .

Of course, caring about what happens to the school children entrusted to their care has never been what the teacher's unions were about, in spite of some heroic efforts by individual teachers.

It was always about milking the public treasury and getting the right Democrat politicians elected to continue the process...along with a healthy dose of lefty indoctrination on the side in a lot of cases.

The children were always just a side issue, the 'product' the factory turned out, as if they were widgets being manufactured.

It is an indictment on us as a society that we have allowed this to continue as long as it has.

Rahm Emanuel - Opposing Gay Marriage Isn't Chicago Values, But Anti-Semitism Is Just Fine

As I mentioned yesterday, the popular restaurant chain known as Chick-fil-A is being denied building permits in Chicago and other cities solely because the company's president is on record as opposing homosexual marriage.

Chick-fil-A's president Dan Cathy never said he would bar or refuse to serve same sex couples, merely that he is against legalizing such unions as marriages, which actually conforms to Illinois law at the time of writing.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel let it be known that he fully supports this:

"Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values," the mayor said in a statement when asked about [Alderman] Moreno's decision. "They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents. This would be a bad investment, since it would be empty."

Of course, unless the City of Chicago is planning on subsidizing the proposed restaurant and paying all of the costs and fees involved, they're not 'investing' in anything, and this is yet another example of how Obama's attitude towards business resonates with many Democrats.

But that aside, let's take a look at what Mayor Emanuel feels are Chicago values:

Ignoring Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitic remarks, Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Wednesday welcomed the army of men dispatched to the streets by Farrakhan to stop the violence in Chicago neighborhoods.

“People of faith have a role to play and community leaders have a role to play in helping to protect our neighborhoods and our citizens. You cannot get there on just one piece of an anti-crime strategy,” the mayor said.

“The police have a role to play. Tearing down abandoned buildings has a role to play. Shutting liquor stores that are a cancer in the community have a role to play. Community leaders have a role to play. Pastors have a role to play. Principals have a role to play. And most importantly, parents have roles to play. They have decided, the Nation of Islam, to help protect the community. And that’s an important ingredient, like all the other aspects of protecting a neighborhood.”

For the last two Mondays, black men in dress suits and bow ties fanned out across violence-plagued Chicago neighborhoods — first Auburn-Gresham, then South Shore — to form a human wall of protection against any sudden outbreak of gunfire.

The army of men, know as the Fruit of Islam, were led by Farrakhan, who ordered the show of force in response to last month’s brutal murder of seven-year-old Heaven Sutton.

Emanuel’s decision to steer clear of Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitic remarks is a far cry from the 1994 controversy that followed former Mayor Richard M. Daley’s private meeting with Farrkakhan.

During the meeting, Daley prodded Farrakhan to work out his differences with Jewish leaders in talks arranged by the Commission on Human Relations. Daley even hinted that if those conversations did not take place, the Nation of Islam would have trouble winning the city approval needed for its planned development along the 79th Street commercial strip.

So, let's parse this...by definition, according to Chicago values, a Christian who merely supports the traditional definition of marriage is unwelcome to do business there. But the racist, anti-semitic leader of the Nation of Islam is a valued partner and is legitimized by the mayor's support in having the NOI's personal security thugs acting as police.

Not only that, but rest assured that the Nation is going to use this to increase their street cred and as an excuse to proselytize with every gang banger they come into contact with.

By the way, I wonder if the mayor realizes how Louis Farrakhan and the NOI feel about homosexuals, let along same sex marriage?

If he does, is he going to call for the revocation of business licenses and permits for all the fish houses, markets, bakeries, laundromats and other businesses the Nation owns in Chicago?

You bet he won't.

So let's recap. Christian people of faith, not part of Chicago values. Anti-Semitic, racist and anti-gay Muslim people of faith, just fine.

Wall Street Responds With Leaflet Bomb On Occupy Chicago: "We Are Smarter, More Vicious"

The worm may just be turning. The above is one of a whole slew of leaflets dropped from a Chicago office building on the 'Occupy Chicago' encampment, and it ties in with something I said here back when this started.

"We are Wall Street. It’s our job to make money. Whether it’s a commodity, stock, bond, or some hypothetical piece of fake paper, it doesn’t matter. We would trade baseball cards if it were profitable. I didn’t hear America complaining when the market was roaring to 14,000 and everyone’s 401k doubled every 3 years. Just like gambling, its not a problem until you lose. I’ve never heard of anyone going to Gamblers Anonymous because they won too much in Vegas.

Well now the market crapped out, & even though it has come back somewhat, the government and the average Joes are still looking for a scapegoat. God knows there has to be one for everything. Well, here we are.

Go ahead and continue to take us down, but you’re only going to hurt yourselves. What’s going to happen when we can’t find jobs on the Street anymore? Guess what: We’re going to take yours. We get up at 5am & work till 10pm or later. We’re used to not getting up to pee when we have a position. We don’t take an hour or more for a lunch break. We don’t demand a union. We don’t retire at 50 with a pension. We eat what we kill, and when the only thing left to eat is on your dinner plates, we’ll eat that.

For years teachers and other unionized labor have had us fooled. We were too busy working to notice. Do you really think that we are incapable of teaching 3rd graders and doing landscaping? We’re going to take your cushy jobs with tenure and 4 months off a year and whine just like you that we are so-o-o-o underpaid for building the youth of America. Say goodbye to your overtime and double time and a half. I’ll be hitting grounders to the high school baseball team for $5k extra a summer, thank you very much.

So now that we’re going to be making $85k a year without upside, Joe Mainstreet is going to have his revenge, right? Wrong! Guess what: we’re going to stop buying the new 80k car, we aren’t going to leave the 35 percent tip at our business dinners anymore. No more free rides on our backs. We’re going to landscape our own back yards, wash our cars with a garden hose in our driveways. Our money was your money. You spent it. When our money dries up, so does yours.

The difference is, you lived off of it, we rejoiced in it. The Obama administration and the Democratic National Committee might get their way and knock us off the top of the pyramid, but it’s really going to hurt like hell for them when our fat asses land directly on the middle class of America and knock them to the bottom.

We aren’t dinosaurs. We are smarter and more vicious than that, and we are going to survive. The question is, now that Obama & his administration are making Joe Mainstreet our food supply…will he? and will they?”

Blago Goes Down

Former Illinois Rod Blagojevich was found guilty today in 17 out of 20 charges in his corruption retrial.

The primary charges he was found guilty on all relate to his attempt to sell President-elect Barack Obama's Senate seat, to an attempted $50,000 shakedown of Children's Memorial Hospital in exchange for $8 million in state funding. and to bribery and extortion connected to a racing bill.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 1, and Blagojevich could end up with 20 years. He's the third Illinois governor to be jailed in the last thirty odd years, the second within the last decade.

During this second trial, I was struck by the judge's restrictions on whom Blagojevich's attorneys could subpoena, what evidence they were allowed to access and share with the jury on certain matters and the number of overruled objections and side bar rulings that went in favor of the prosecution. Specifically, it was obvious to me that there was a definite agenda to keep the focus of this trial as narrow as possible...probably so as not to embarrass certain very prominent people.

Blagojevich was obviously guilty of gross corruption, but he certainly wasn't the only player in Chicagoland. The first trial, which ended in a hung jury because of one juror who happened to be a well connected Democrat activist might very well have been a warning to Blago not to try and involve people in his personal legal drama.

The key thing to watch is (a) what sort of sentence Blagojevich gets and (b) where he's serving time.

If a deal was made between Blago and certain powers that be and he keeps his mouth shut, it'll be something like ten to twelve years, served in some white collar country club prison like the minimum security camps at Marion or Pekin, and we might see a presidential pardon at an appropriate time, similar to how Bill Clinton treated his old Whitewater business partners Susan MacDougal and Webb Hubbell.

If it wasn't, or if there was a deal and there's a feeling it wasn't adhered to, look for a maximum sentence in some place like Greenwood or Terre Haute.

Rahm Emanuel..Chicagoland's New Mayor

People get the government they deserve.

55% of the vote...no runoff.

Gery Chico had 24 percent, with Miguel Del Valle at 9.3 percent and Carol Moseley-Braun at 9 percent.

Apparently Emanuel's association with Obama helped quite a bit. He won a clear majority of Chicago's black vote over Moseley-Braun.

The cost? Over $13 million, almost four times more than Chico, the next closest.

It will be interesting tosee what effect this has on ex-Governor Blagojevich's retrial.
