Classic - a guy who condemns private property refuses to allow "those shiftless hobos down in Bum-Town" use his iPad, because that's personal property.
But he's against private property, AKA stuff that belongs to other people. Completely different!

Comedian Jon Stewart just returned from a USO tour in Afghanistan, and he had a few things to say about it. Note the reaction of his audience. America may be less divided than we think.
Stewart, by the way, deserves a lot of credit for going. There's a large segment of the entertainment industry that can't be bothered.

Salman Rushdie : Jon Stewart's Stance On Cat Stevens 'Depresssing'
As you'll remember, a featured performer at Jon Stewart's rally this weekend was one Yusuf Islam, AKA Cat Stevens. Yusuf Islam, aside from voicing support for people like Hamas was also an enthusiastic supporter of the death sentence fatwa pronounced by the Ayatollah Khomeini on writer and Islam apostate Salman Rushdie.
Apparently Rushdie was bothered enough by this that he actually contacted Stewart to find out what on earth he had been thinking..and later e-mailed Standpoint's Nick Cohen:

By the way, both links to those e-mail exchanges have since been removed, which says something, I think.One must not offend Islam, especially in the dhimmified UK.
As for the comedian formerly known as Jon Leibowitz, I wondered in my earlier piece if he had a chance to ask Yusef Islam how he felt about what the Qu'ran says about Jews.
Obviously he didn't. Would have gone against the whole theme of the so-called 'rally for sanity' for Leibowitz/Stewart to find out how much of a Jew his friend Yusuf actually considers him..

It's taken awhile, but even Jon Stewart is apparently fed up with Obama's whining.
This is a Democrat dominated Congress that ran away from passing a real budget or addressing tax cuts, but found time to vote on turning down the volume on TV commercials.

Jon Stewart Gets It - Chris Matthews Reveals Some Inherent Racism
By now, most of you are aware of mess NBC's Chris Matthews' remark after Obama's State Of The Union speech about forgetting Obama 'was black for an hour.'
This is exactly the sort of thing leftards who are inherently uncomfortable with black folks on a personal level say all the time,('oh, gee, I never thought of you as black!' and Matthews is quite representative of the sort of 'liberal' whites who supported Obama because it was a way of buying virtue at a discount, among other reasons.
Jon Stewart rips this to shreds in the above video. It's a sad commentary on the state of our media when it's left for a comedian to challenge this kind of bigotry.

Jon Stewart has some wicked fun mocking Mess NBC's rabid, urine soaked mad dog.
Especially gratifying was The Daily Show audience's gasp when Stewart played the clip of Olbermouth accusing Scott Brown of being 'sexist' as compared to Olbermouth's referring to Michelle Malkin as ' a mindless, fascistic morally bankrupt..mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it.'
I guess these people forgot exactly how misogynist and hateful Olbermann actually is.
Oh,and by the way,that quote about 'shove a curling iron up her butt' shouted out at a Brown rally? Olbermouth was too cowardly and dishonest to say so and Stewart was primarily interested in laugh material, but that remark refers to a famous 2005 child rape case in Massachusetts using that very implement.
Martha Coakely as district Attorney for Middlesex County let the perpetrator out of jail on his own recognizance and refused to prosecute the case. Coakley's successor corrected her mistake and won a conviction and two life terms.
